Jordan at Northpointe was friendly from the start. We were first time buyers and he didn't seem annoyed or tired of our questions. He responded daily. He was quick at moving our home buying process along. We were initially going to close on a home from another very popular home builder, but we are so glad we didn't. They didn't have the customer service Lennar had. They overlooked us, made us feel unwanted and the process was extremely stressful! We are so thankful we found Lennar and decided to go with them. They deserved it!

The builders were absolutely helpful and kind. However, the title company was a different story. I did not like that the title company would not allow me to close in person. I had no access to a computer and was having to sign all these important documents on my small phone. I felt that my loan officer Terry was not helpful. At one point he even hung up the phone on me. When I was done with closing his response to me was, “I hope we didn’t beat you up too bad.” Terry was very aggressive about me wiring $500 over the price for closing just in case of any numbers were off. First time buyer, so a lot of unknowns, but Lennar and team were patient, kind and helpful. I haven't had any early repairs, everything is good. The price of the house was great, no thrills, just the basics. Some areas could use a better quality hardware, but I cant complain for the price, and it’s fairly easy to upgrade.

The process from first look to final move-in was seamless. The salesperson, was very attentive to our needs and made reasonable recommendations. The quality of our new is outstanding, what was optional features in most of the other homes we looked at were standard features for Lennar. The builders team from sales, financial to final inspection was over and beyond out expectations. Lennar tricks you by telling you that certain things are included, items are installed to code, floor plans, etc. Then you find problems with everything. Lennar - Actual experience Window coverings (shades) included - not on all windows. Electrical installed to code - so far lights and outlets were found that did not meet code Painting will be complete right after walkthrough - it’s been 2 months and still is not complete Standard windows - that don’t open (imagine your smoke detector going off every time you cook) We will leave the spare tile for you - did not leave spare ...

Before closing, there were several finishing issues, including the most horrendous tape and bed job I’ve ever seen, that the contractors were very hesitant and seemingly annoyed to complete. After asking what the next steps were if it wasn’t right before closing, we were basically told “we’ll give you a different house and sell this to someone who won’t notice”. Viridian is a great neighborhood and community. You pay for that. The designs of the Lennar homes in this community are wonderful and the models show well. Unfortunately, the quality of the build is not what we expected for a home at this price point. We have been working through several warranty items which ultimately could have been non existent if there was a little more attention and higher level craftsmanship in the initial build. overall decent experience - the biggest issue was with Ekta, the construction manager, she needed to do a much better job with finish out and getting stuff done right the first time. BEFORE WE EVER SAW IT. for this to be a new home there were way too many things that needed to be fixed. working with Randy to get all dealt with, but if she would have done her job better most of our issues would not have been - Randy and Norman are awesome!

This is my second Lennar new construction home, and it's been a completely different experience compared to the first one. My first Lennar experience was great! This time around has been a different story. From the sales person, Daniel, who was completely rude and unprofessional, to the issues I'm going through now, I'd highly recommend getting an inspection before closing. I did a walk through, but it went by so fast, that I wasn't able to see all the issues. The process was/went fairly easy in the sense that my paper-trail was easy to follow and even tho serious issue(s) came up unexpectedly I was right to provide them with the needed information. Since everything was done on-line at times, it was challenging for me but my son was there to help me. Fastest closing we have experienced has its pro’s and cons… we got keys in just over 2 weeks. However the timeline to push for closing was so tight it was difficult to really examine the property. I recommend a 3rd party inspection! Many aspects of the home from various trades are mediocre at best. Drywall is lumpy and uneven. Paint is inconsistent and patchy. Floor trim has zero craftsmanship and many gaps. Walls are bowed. Plot grading is horrible, the lumpy yard will need re-graded and filled w fresh top soil. We moved into our new Lennar home about a month ago. For the price we paid, I would expect the quality of the home build to be great but I have been sorely mistaken. The paint job is terrible. Some base boards were primed but not painted. It seems like there was only one coat of paint applied to the whole house and actually needs to have 2. There were scratches on faucets and cabinets.
