Jordan at Northpointe was friendly from the start. We were first time buyers and he didn't seem annoyed or tired of our questions. He responded daily. He was quick at moving our home buying process along. We were initially going to close on a home from another very popular home builder, but we are so glad we didn't. They didn't have the customer service Lennar had. They overlooked us, made us feel unwanted and the process was extremely stressful! We are so thankful we found Lennar and decided to go with them. They deserved it!

James and his team made the home buying experience a breeze! Everyone was responsive with any questions I had and worked within a timely manor. Would recommend to my friends and family

The builders were absolutely helpful and kind. However, the title company was a different story. I did not like that the title company would not allow me to close in person. I had no access to a computer and was having to sign all these important documents on my small phone. I felt that my loan officer Terry was not helpful. At one point he even hung up the phone on me. When I was done with closing his response to me was, “I hope we didn’t beat you up too bad.” Terry was very aggressive about me wiring $500 over the price for closing just in case of any numbers were off. I still don’t understand how you would not have my final numbers for closing. They mailed a check of the money that I over paid for closing, but never received it in the mail. Then charged me for wiring It to my bank. I requested a survey of the property before closing, which they would not give me until I closed. Just from that experience alone, I will not be purchasing another LENNAR home in the future. ... More

Everyone was very responsive during the entire process. Love the home! Contractors should be more mindful of their work. There were somethings that were over looked. Jordan was totally awesome!

First time buyer, so a lot of unknowns, but Lennar and team were patient, kind and helpful. I haven't had any early repairs, everything is good. The price of the house was great, no thrills, just the basics. Some areas could use a better quality hardware, but I cant complain for the price, and it’s fairly easy to upgrade.

The process from first look to final move-in was seamless. The salesperson, was very attentive to our needs and made reasonable recommendations. The quality of our new is outstanding, what was optional features in most of the other homes we looked at were standard features for Lennar. The builders team from sales, financial to final inspection was over and beyond out expectations. Heather was very attentive to what we were looking for and even helped us get more value for our money. Chesera was very efficient, and quick to respond to all of our questions and concerns through during the financing process Previous experiences required that we complete a pre closing walk though inspection to identify all the flaws we noticed and allow up to ten days for the builder to correct the flaws. Brian had already pre inspected our home prior to our New Home Orientation minimizing any corrections that needed to be completed, which even allowed us to move up close date. Everything about our recent home buying experience with Lennar was wonderful. From the sales experience through financing, we could not have asked for more.

Lennar tricks you by telling you that certain things are included, items are installed to code, floor plans, etc. Then you find problems with everything. Lennar - Actual experience Window coverings (shades) included - not on all windows. Electrical installed to code - so far lights and outlets were found that did not meet code Painting will be complete right after walkthrough - it’s been 2 months and still is not complete Standard windows - that don’t open (imagine your smoke detector going off every time you cook) We will leave the spare tile for you - did not leave spare tile. Home is wired for internet. - there is no power in the entire room that has the wires run to it. Can’t power the router. There is also no USPS service in this neighbourhood. Trash service has not dropped off cans (it’s been two months). Almost all of the breakers are labelled wrong. The garage door has huge gaps in it. No additional power in the garage. No light in the laundry room. No doorbell (they said this was standard), not even pre wired. There’s a clubhouse but we are not allowed to access it. Homestead tax exemption is not applicable. Before closing, there were several finishing issues, including the most horrendous tape and bed job I’ve ever seen, that the contractors were very hesitant and seemingly annoyed to complete. After asking what the next steps were if it wasn’t right before closing, we were basically told “we’ll give you a different house and sell this to someone who won’t notice”. After closing it has been almost impossible to get a hold of anyone to help us with the issues we continue to find with the finishing work in the house. We have several friends that also live in this neighborhood who have had similar issues with their finishings. We love our home and I am grateful we were able to get such a good deal on it but I will probably never buy though Lennar again. ... More

Sahil - Sales consultant is who you want when you buy a house. Eagle Mtg is not who you want to use when you buy a house. It was the worst experience that I have ever experienced buying a home.

Viridian is a great neighborhood and community. You pay for that. The designs of the Lennar homes in this community are wonderful and the models show well. Unfortunately, the quality of the build is not what we expected for a home at this price point. We have been working through several warranty items which ultimately could have been non existent if there was a little more attention and higher level craftsmanship in the initial build. Lennar quite frankly needs to hire better contractors that seem to care about the quality of their work. And needs better quality control… interior paint and trim is third rate. The tile install looks great until u see the horrible caulk job around the baseboard through the entire house. Especially when areas were filled with caulk to hide mismeasured cuts in tile. Don’t feel like the install was from a seasoned professional. And things seem to magically change that were different in model and u get zero notifications that things are going to be different that’ll what I saw in model. So many shortcuts taken it just left us disappointed. Warped Blinds, uneven hung valances, sloppy install on Master Bath shower. Should have known better when we visited house during build and saw a pile of empty beer cans and bottles piled up in the front curb. Good News is the warranty team is on point helping get these items addressed. However, doing things right the first time would have saved a lot of stress and hassle and missed work days having to be home for warranty issues. ... More

My experience was good and everything worked out great at the end.

overall decent experience - the biggest issue was with Ekta, the construction manager, she needed to do a much better job with finish out and getting stuff done right the first time. BEFORE WE EVER SAW IT. for this to be a new home there were way too many things that needed to be fixed. working with Randy to get all dealt with, but if she would have done her job better most of our issues would not have been - Randy and Norman are awesome!

Other than the experience with lending my overall experience was good.

This is my second Lennar new construction home, and it's been a completely different experience compared to the first one. My first Lennar experience was great! This time around has been a different story. From the sales person, Daniel, who was completely rude and unprofessional, to the issues I'm going through now, I'd highly recommend getting an inspection before closing. I did a walk through, but it went by so fast, that I wasn't able to see all the issues. I had a service call back on 7/15 of a laundry list of items, and if it wasn't for me continously following up, they never would have been done. Today is 8/23, and my cabinets finally got repaired today...back from the 7/15 visit. I asked the cabinet person when they were contacted, and he said just last week. It takes 5 weeks to contact the cabinet folks? I also have another laundry list of items that need to be repaired; it's going over 10 days now and still nothing. The work is sloppy! And that's putting it nicely. I had to replace ALL the door knobs because they were covered in paint. Every last one of them. I spent 4 hrs on the floor with a razor and a cloth getting all the paint and excess grout off the floor. There was even paint on the range and dishwasher that I had to get off. Paint on the interior window frames. It's literally everywhere. There are paint drips on the baseboards. There's even paint on the bathroom shower tile. I haven't tackled that yet. And the shower tile grout is uneven and sloppy as well. I had to pay $200 to have someone come in and do a final construction clean because the home was disgusting when I moved in. The interior doors were damaged at some point through the construction process, and instead of replacing them, they just used wood filler. I have 2 that look awful. All of the kitchen and bathroom cabinets looked like they came from a seconds and surplus store. All of them had issues, from actual cracked cabinet door to finish issues. The drywall texture on the wall is awful. You can tell in several areas where the drywall is not the same. It looks like somehow the walls/ceilings were damaged, and whoever did the drywall repair, they didn't match the existing texture. There is a weird looking spot on the living room ceiling that looks like it's bulging, and I have no idea what is even going on there. "Covid" is not an excuse for poor quality and workmanship. With what I'm seeing beyond the drywall, terrifies me on what's behind it. But unfortunately, I can't remove the drywall to see. Please beware. And if you buy your home early enough in the process, I would definitely have construction phase inspections done. ... More

The process was/went fairly easy in the sense that my paper-trail was easy to follow and even tho serious issue(s) came up unexpectedly I was right to provide them with the needed information. Since everything was done on-line at times, it was challenging for me but my son was there to help me. Finally, I'm glad and blessed that the process is over and I'm in a new house, Good luck to everyone.

Fastest closing we have experienced has its pro’s and cons… we got keys in just over 2 weeks. However the timeline to push for closing was so tight it was difficult to really examine the property. I recommend a 3rd party inspection! Many aspects of the home from various trades are mediocre at best. Drywall is lumpy and uneven. Paint is inconsistent and patchy. Floor trim has zero craftsmanship and many gaps. Walls are bowed. Plot grading is horrible, the lumpy yard will need re-graded and filled w fresh top soil. Garage is minimally mudded and not at all ready for primer/paint. Cabinets in kitchen and bathrooms have no finish trim even after we asked for it to be finished. Shower is caulked terribly and had to be stripped and re-done. Garage needs more than one available outlet. Concrete was sloppily finished and brick layers exercised no care in cleaning mortar droppings of concrete. We will have to chisel it all off for a clean and smooth patio. Wood damage outside was filled with soft silicone and painted over. Its still soft to the touch. Cabinets in bathrooms have no drawers at all. Kitchen sink faucet was installed sideways. Garage door framing had to be filled due to excessive gaps between wood and drywall and the outside was clearly visible on both sides. I could keep going. The point is, make time to thoroughly inspect and know you are purchasing basic, bare bones, bottom shelf housing. ... More

We moved into our new Lennar home about a month ago. For the price we paid, I would expect the quality of the home build to be great but I have been sorely mistaken. The paint job is terrible. Some base boards were primed but not painted. It seems like there was only one coat of paint applied to the whole house and actually needs to have 2. There were scratches on faucets and cabinets. Glue on the tile. Multiple chipped tiles through out the house. Paint on the tile. Light switches hung crooked. The house was not cleaned well prior to us moving in. I have submitted for warranty and they have been great at addressing most of my concerns however the paint job is a huge issue because the whole house really needs to be repainted by the builder. I’m so disappointed and frustrated. To get the additional coat of paint on the baseboards, I have come to the conclusion that I will have to be the one to repaint them myself. I shouldn’t have to fix something that the builder should have done the right way in the first place. This home appears to have been built on a shoe string budget with corners cut anyway possible to save money for a big price tag. So disappointed!! Lennar needs to step up their came and pay more attention to the craftsmanship of the home. ... More
