We had a terrible buying experience. The lack of communication was our main issue. Katelyn was passive aggressive and would speak to me as if I were a child because I would ask the wrong people questions. It was our first time purchasing a home and we had such a terrible experience after signing contract until we closed. Immediately after we closed we had sewage backing into our tubs/sinks, since it was an emergency it was promptly repaired. Our other issues have now taken 3 weeks to even get a response from their team. We do not have any pool access despite calling multiple times a week to their HOA. We had a safety issue that we brought up multiple times before closing and Lennar refused to fix the issue twisting our arms to comply and sign, our 3rd party inspector and Lennar’s concierge both agreed regarding our safety issue and supposedly they went to “higher ups” and it was denied. We have been living here 6 weeks now and last week they started construction on some lines in our front yard. I state some lines because they refused to tell us who they were or what they were fixing, we also had no prior written notice. We had a construction worker ring my doorbell at 7am and demanded I move my vehicle out of my driveway so they could work. They ended up going on my driveway after I left but left stains on my driveway and also broke a sprinkler head. I would ask for it to be repaired but have no idea who or what company is doing that construction. Other than those issues the home is apparently well built and I am lucky to have not had anymore issues, but as stated above we have only been here 6 weeks. ... More

The home buying experience was very enjoyable. It was an easy and efficient process that enabled us to quickly close the deal on a quality home.

The workmanship is great..but there are things you’re going to have to do yourself. Like seal the flooring and counters. They don’t do that. Communication between departments is horrible. Never received the last cleaning before move in. Lawn wasn’t mowed. They don’t line the flower beds so weeds are in them in no time. I had a service call and then they put my house on a second one. I emailed and let them know I didn’t place a second call…..crickets. Just spam me with docuSign. HOA wasn’t even informed of my move in. They didn’t provide me with any final documentation that I signed. Definitely just in this to make money and move on. Aka service sucks but the home and price are good. ... More

The home was what we were looking for. The sales team was great for the most part, had to reach out for confirmation a few times, no biggie everything was worked out. The workmanship of the home is not that good, noticing quite a few defects on the walls, ceiling, door frames and doors. Lots of over spray from paint left on the floor. Should have been more observant, but we were so excited about new home purchase. Some issues were turned in and responsiveness was good. First time work was done on one issue they had to return as work was not up to par.

While the process of paperwork is fast and not confusing. The workmanship the houses are mixed. Please check everything when going for a preview of the house as something can be missing. This can be small parts that are not too significant for rejecting, but sometime a whole piece can be missing. Example: Garage Door Strut Bar.

The home buying was amazing but since then you call or email and it's no response at all, very frustrating, to many issues afterwards to write, just not very happy

Responsive to concerns and repairs.

Only problems the walls are supper hollow thin you can hear my daughter take a shower while iam in my bedroom or any parts of my home. I can hear her talk or of iam standing outside I can hear. And also my washer and dryer throws the switch every single time a wash and dry I checked tge wires like I was told and they are current. I had my who inspected he even said the wrong outlet thing was wrong and it will throw the breaker but the older guy works with LENNAR said it will not soon as I moved in started using the appliance it throws the breaker every single time. And my doorway bugs still comes through both doors buying a home is a good thing but scary at the same time ... More

Sales, and builders were not responsive to huge issues. Over 1 month in the home and still waiting for drastic needs.

I recently purchased a home, and I must say I'm quite disappointed with the workmanship. There are several noticeable flaws throughout the property that were overlooked during construction. The finishing touches seem rushed, and the overall quality falls short of what I expected for the price I paid. I've encountered problems with electrical outlets, and even some structural concerns. It's frustrating to deal with these issues so soon after moving in. I hope the builders can address these problems promptly, as it's been a rather unpleasant start to my homeownership journey."

The home buying process was quick and easy for us. Everything was done via the app and the closing was done over zoom. We love the house!

My wife and I are very happy with our new home. We would definitely recommend lennar for anyone considering buying a home.

A constant battle from start to finish with things broken after the fact. Terrible customer service. Lies from the entire team. Rude sales men. With the experience I had I would never recommend a lenar home to my friends or family. My first home buying experience was ruined by y’all’s team with the exception of two people. Terrible & very shameful

I had a different down payment then I thought it was going to be. I was told I’d be able to get a conventional loan no problem and got fha approved at first because I applied over the weekend and after hours. I mentioned I’d be changing down payment amount by more than half after I was told I was getting a FHA instead of a conventional loan due to a 1 point difference. Sounded like it was due to a texts not being responded to. The walkthrough was moved about 4-5 times which is ok due to multiple variables. After doing the walkthrough and marking items, the person who walked through with me said she would stop back in the next day and send me pictures of everything fixed we marked. I didn’t get pictures, assume she didn’t walk through and had to get things fixed after moving in. I feel like lennar employees are under staffed and over the max in workload. Also the insurance I chose, who my representative spoke to multiple lennar employees ended up defaulting to Lennars insurance company. I never knew about the Insurance they gave me until the company I choose sent me a cancellation notice due to not being paid. They have the sale of my home, my loan and now insurance. Never received call backs when requested, i always had to do a follow ups in order to move forward. basically i did the Job of a Real state agent with 0 commissions.

Insulation wasn’t perfect, too many little holes I have to plug. The lawn wasn’t perfect, a lot of spiders, big ones too

Great experience and flexibility till closing. No response after closing and did not return calls multiple times

Make a good inspection when buying

I really thought the lady who did my overall inspection was awesome and she took care of everything!

My experience has been mixed. I really like my new home and where I live. I opted to use the Lennar mortgage company because of the incentives but the experience was less than satisfactory. The representative was not very responsive and I had to hold them accountable for doing what they promised. Make sure you review your closing documents. There were several items to repair in the house before closing and the level of cleanliness was low. You would think that the builder would want to provide buyers with clean beautiful home. They acted like that wasn't realistic. The quality of the amenities is low. In this market with much higher prices, it may be difficult to get a quality home without overpaying for it. I have a long list of repairs to report to them. The crews that are building the homes have no respect for the neighborhood. They would leave their dirty food containers inside the home for days while building. Now that im in the home, im finding food trash in my backyard from the crews who are working on the other houses. I've even seen trash in the trees. The litter near my home is excessive. On another note, they are responsive, and polite. My neighborhood is great and I like the overall layout of my home. ... More

Lennar Staff is awesome to work with. They explain the process very thoroughly from beginning to closing. The best experience ever!
