Don't buy a Lennar home. I have built or owned 4 different brand new houses. This experience has been the absolute worst. If I could do it all over I would not have bought Lennar.

Workmanship?

The floor plan is beautiful but the workmanship is lacking. It is like Lennar dropped every door before putting them in and they rushed on touch ups, using the wrong paint in many cases. They lack attention to detail. They also outsource their work and there doesn’t seem to be much oversight or quality control.

For a first time buyer I was so excited on buying my first house and spend time with family and friends. But now that the time passes by I get to notice a lot of stuff that isn’t right and that the contractors and builders let it slide under the rug so they could sell, sell and sell ,not focusing on quality and safety of the people that it’s planning to stay in the new house for the rest of their lives. Home needs lots of work

We moved into our new Lennar home about a month ago. For the price we paid, I would expect the quality of the home build to be great but I have been sorely mistaken. The paint job is terrible. Some base boards were primed but not painted. It seems like there was only one coat of paint applied to the whole house and actually needs to have 2. There were scratches on faucets and cabinets. Glue on the tile. Multiple chipped tiles through out the house. Paint on the tile. Light switches hung crooked. The house was not cleaned well prior to us moving in. They rushed me into the house when it was time to close, it wasn't even finished, then there was a leak in the plumbing and they still haven't finished fixing all the damage.

Very poor service after sale. Do not recommend this builder. You will not be a priority after you close. Warranty repairs have poor workmanship and take longer to fix than it takes to build the house.

Ultimately, I'm happy with my new house, everything was built properly, and professionally, and if there was a defect, it was fixed. The homebuying experience was poor. Sales staff were dodgy about answering questions and not very transparent about the homebuying process. It was a sellers market and this was an apportunity for builders to show what kind of seller they were going to be and they showed it. We had a terrible buying experience. The lack of communication was our main issue. Katelyn was passive aggressive and would speak to me as if I were a child because I would ask the wrong people questions. It was our first time purchasing a home and we had such a terrible experience after signing contract until we closed. Poor workmanship and cheap materials. Lack of attention to detail and a lot of corner cutting. We do not recommend using the in-house mortgage company, Lennar Mortgage / Eagle Mortgage. And pay attention during your walk through. Take your time. We have paint splattered on the floors, paint is missing in corners of ceilings, on windowsills, etc. and the paint is so cheap it literally flakes off the ceiling and walls. I would recommend other builder. Experience was horrible. Supervisor checking finish product is horrible then they get mad when you complain or ask things done correctly. I have told my coworkers to find other builders those that are looking to buy. Horrible customer service. I would not recommend. Lennar to my worst enemy.

Have only lived in this brand new house for a few months and have to had several things fixed, half our outlets didn’t work, faucet won’t work correctly, sprinkler system was broken, and you can see several screws sticking out of the dry wall. Didn’t come with anything worth the cost, not even enough cabinet space for 2 people to store a very small/normal amount of kitchen appliances. Our sales lady Alyssa was also very rude and unresponsive throughout the entire buying process

Bad experience with overall lennar team

Lennar salesman doesn’t respond after the earnest money was given. They didn’t clean at all after the home orientation. When i was there after the closing, everything was as it is when we left after orientation. Little things like pull string on the conduit was not there for utility cable to go to the security box, front and back trees were not properly dug into the ground. Some of the ring security sensors were missing. Paints on the floor and windows are not properly cleaned. They said it gonna be construction clean but not at all.Overall bad experience.

My name is Luis, I can say that the salesperson who convince me to purchase the home was great. But the builder teams are awful, they don’t know respond to complaints in an appropriate way. In my case I’ve been complaining about my yard that has a fifthteen foot long and four inches deep water puddle (mud) for a month now. And I only been living the house for six week. A lot of issues for a new house

I chose a house that was already built. They never did anything I asked on the final walk. After I moved in, I had a lot of issues. They had to replace the vinyl flooring in the house. That was a nightmare experience. I fence is falling apart after only 5 months. I have to have the structure evaluated for a possible foundation issue. I wish they would just take the house back.

A constant battle from start to finish with things broken after the fact. Terrible customer service. Lies from the entire team. Rude sales men.
