So many things were requested after the inspection but not fixed before closing but was told it’s taken care of. Bit good thing is that they took care of it when I showed them those issues after closing. Your mortgage was very high in interest and for some reason felt like they were not interested in my business.

Bad buying experiences with Lennar

Have bad experiences with Lennar’s title and sale agent. They tried to tell us wire the money before the closing date which is understandable. However, the final walk through date is AFTER the closing date. I voiced the concern without any answer. On Lennar track, they are no where ready for closing. No seller commitment document, no survey document uploaded or provided. I bought 3 homes with them and this will be the last one

This is my third Lennar home, and to be honest, if it weren’t for my commitment to the Next Gen model, I wouldn’t have purchased from Lennar again. The lack of customization options and the smaller yard compared to my previous homes have been quite disappointing. I’ve also experienced several warranty issues. While they are typically resolved quickly, the quality of the repairs seems to have declined in recent years. Additionally, my assigned sales representative has been unresponsive, and it’s been nearly two months since I moved in, and I still haven’t received a mailbox key which is ...

Everyone was spot on, answering questions and very kind and knowledgeable. Every time I went to the display home, no matter who was there, they were extremely helpful. The construction manager and young lady who did the final walk through were excellent. I love my home and highly recommend a Lennar home to anyone shopping for a home. When I visited the office as expected the quality and service I had before from Lennar. After a very long purchase process, I finally got the house. Since it is a new home, I expected not to have issues. I reported 4 of them and only one has been taken care of. Very sad.

I am a first time homebuyer. I was able to be upfront about my credit challenges and we were able to establish a timeline for me too clean up my credit and pay off debt. I absolutely love the neighborhood and the homes because of the nature and it’s just a really nice community and area. I Do not believe I could’ve gotten the same home for this price in Houston. I think it would’ve been more.

From start to finish my experience with Lennar has been far above what I expected, and what others 'told me' to expect. Initially, there was some coincidence on how Lennar's sales rep (Julie) and I met, but as the buying process continued, so did the trust, and so did the business relationship. This was a horrible home purchase experience. It was hard to get a person to call you back. We had to do a virtual closing and it was awful, the first person we called at the Virtual Closing hung up on use when we didn't get connected fast enough. Then we had to find someone at Lennar who could tell how to get back into the Que since this was already paid for by Lennar. We couldn't ask any questions because it was just the notary on the call. Horrible. After we got moved in our air conditioner did not cool! Lennar has you scan a code if you have any problems and that called us back to help ...

A Second Buyers Outlook.

Excellent loan officer and loan analyst. Builder very knowledgable also, previous Lennar home owner but this experience was 10 times better. Only damage from hurricane were a few things inside and fence, and front yard tree but in process of being fixed, this team handled the hurricane situation excellent to help my closing stay on track. In a 2400 sqft house, lennar provide only one sink in master bedroom and their original design is questionable. Plus using wood floor instead of tiles in all bathrooms. Only one Ethernet connection in the whole house which is only in living room. The room facing main road has only one small window in lennar wildflower II collection in Marigold elevation B plan. Overall plan for marigold is really good. And spacious. Bath tub size is too small to fit in secondary bathrooms. These are all small design changes that gives more satisfaction if it were included in original plan.

Coming back to Texas

We retired and moved to Florida in 2022. Wanted back to Texas in 2024. My wife kept going back to the listing for our house and after the fourth time she brought me to look at it on the computer I asked if it was the one. She said yes and we had our realtor make an offer. Lennar did Everything they said they would. They had us close on the day they said 6 weeks before closing, even with a hurricane that came thru. Buying this house was a very good experience even with us being in a different state. We Would buy another Lennar home.
