Wonderful experience from start to finish. I had an inspector come and look at the home and there were only four small things wrong and two of those were something that couldn’t be fixed due to code had to be the way that it was built. The other things were just minor a little chip and something else. Nothing big. This is a wonderfully built home and I am Thankful to own it.

We have no complaints about the entire process. We love, love, love our Lennar home!

Couldn't get in contact with people for days about issues. Received multiple closing disclosures all wrong. Celina and Morgan were the only helpful people. They planted dead grass, asked them to fix it, they said it would come back alive and if not in a month they would replace it. It never grew back because it was dead when they put it down, when i contacted them to replace it they said they would get back to me and never did and now wont answer my calls or text. The entrance sidewalk by my door has footprints in it, asked them to fix it, they fixed the drive way but left the entry sidewalk with foot prints in the concrete. Communication was awful, and the Liaison was pointless, never knew any of the questions i asked then had to play telephone between three people and took Days/week to get a single answer for an issue. Got a power of attorney done for closing a month before i closed. I was told it was approved and a week before closing they decided that it was no longer approved and i had to run around in a different state while in training for the government after hours, spending extra money to express ship a new power of attorney ($80 for notary and $120 for shipping). I was very pleased with the journey of buying a new construction home through Lennar . All the staff members were great and helped me navigate through the technical aspects of the home buying process. Since I’m not a tech savvy person I’m sure glad they were patient with me. That was the positive part of the process. Now comes the parts I was not so thrilled about. I thought I would have a say on what items I preferred in a newest bblconstruction home 1- the house came without gutters. It’s an added big expense that I wasn’t counting on 2- Would’ve liked to have gotten a fridge included in the home package 3- Not at all thrilled about the so called “ luxury vinyl flooring” . It’s already lifting up in some areas . Wish I could’ve picked out ceramic flooring 4- Carpeting in the bedrooms. Would’ve liked it if I could’ve done without it. 5- No garage door opener included 6- Wanted the home to have ceiling fans. . Another option I didn’t get. 6- No coat closet 7- No linen closet 8- Garage is extremely hot because it’s not vented for air conditioning/ heating 9- Despise the wooden fencing. There’s no way it’s going to hold up very long. The planks are so thin and untreated! 10- Definitely not pleased at all with the flat paint on all the walls throughout the house. You can’t wipe the walls without the paint coming off and damaging it more. Who puts flat paint on walls in bathrooms?! With water and humidity levels high in a bathroom. I just feel they supplied the home with very low end materials. Just make sure you pay attention to all these things when you purchase your home. ... More

Trees were not planted properly and have fallen over three times now. Issue was not fixed they just put them back up and then got knocked over again. No response on the latest attempt to have this fixed.

The sales experience was good, but as soon as I tried to reach out for a workmanship issue, there was no one to be found. None of the “emergency” numbers that were listed by the builder were available, except for the Lennar one with a recording to leave a message. The message was never answered and the home consultants I reached out to simply told me they couldn’t help. So much for home warranty and standing behind your products.

My 2nd Lennar home. What a huge (bad) difference in build quality and materials compared to first home. No gutters. No sprinkler system. Side boards are very soft, dry wall very soft. Paint is very bright white. Counter top is nice but very cheap because it stains quickly. Bathroom faucets are the cheapest on the market, same goes for the sink. Had electrical issue first week, service request put me on a viral call (the construction manager assisted with the issue, it was a wiring issue). Had a mouse get in the garage the first week because they left a open space under the water heater. Several insects are in the bathroom every morning (clearly something is not fully closed off...). Chalk used in bathroom is the cheapest, it's already turning color. Floor gets stained easily and stains don't come out...I could go and on about the cheap built of the house... ... More

Our home buying experience with Lennar was great. Did not have to wait long, was approved almost right away. Only small downside is that we were not able to choose our closing date (moving fr a diff state while still in the process of transitioning to new job) but all is well and kudos to Lennar for the wonderful job and we love our new home.

More training needed between lennar mort and the sales team. Different options and incentives were originally offered until signing then withdrawn

Honestly, I would never recommend nor purchase another Lennar home. The only positive experience was my initial walk thru 2 weeks prior to closing on my home with Lennar associate Beth. From the very start with Lennar, my sales personnel, Jimmy Zaid kicked off the negative experienc but his constant lack of communication, And most importantly empty promise of purchase price. He stated that every model of my home sells for $300,000 and that there were 3 left after looking at a model of one selling that day. Long story short after I finally got in contact with him, he stated the best price he could do was $338,000 and not $300,000 due to my specific home not being a short sale. This communication was done via text since he would not answer my calls. He stated he was off the days I left messages. Additionally, another time when I could not reach him, I ended up calling the local sales office and the associate who answered specified that if I signed the same day, I would receive a free copy washer & dryer. Once again Jimmy never mentioned any other this. I've spoken with several neighbors who went thru Lennar mortgage etc and very similar, terrible experience. Additionally, the Lennar lending associates (there were 2) consistently asked for the same redundant paperwork. I submitted w writhing 3 times (Lennar portal and each Lennar Mortgage associate) This was my third home purchase might I mention, so I am very familiar with home buying experiences. My neighbors and I are clearly guinea pigs to the Samara neighborhood and all share a similar negative experience. I could provide another page of my entire experience but I'm sure no one will read this. Surprisingly, I did receive a call a couple weeks ago when I received another Lennar surgery where I rated everything 0 and I spelled everything out to that associate who want d me to elaborate feedback responses. ... Completing the purchase was very touchy, and communication was not the greatest. Now that we are in the home, we are having to move back out due to the flooring issues, and this has made me question the workmanship in other areas of the house. The Customer Sevice representative has been very helpful, but this process is still less than desirable and leaves doubts.

Lennar seems to only care about them selves and I almost lost my money due to the some lady named Silvia screaming and catching an attitude with me and my bank when lennar made the mistake. Horrible experience

The only good thing about this experience is Josh when i first bought the house. The lending process and about of defects in walkthrough, make me never want to recommend this company

The team was great since the loan officer, the sales team,construction manager and the concierge staff,they made my process almost stress free

My whole process was very fast. Within the short period however, the loan process was very frustrating. The loan officer was difficult to reach at times plus some of the people who were working my loan lived in another time zone, making it even harder to communicate/connect with. The person who initiated the homebuying process basically disappeared after I put my down payment down. As a first time homeowner, I feel like the experience could’ve been way better.The house overall was nice until I moved in and experienced 2 roof leaks from the sealant being broken. Though it was quickly fixed, I believe as a new house there shouldn’t be a problem with the roof but then again they build the houses very quickly! ... More

Major complaint was in the lawn. Sod was placed haphazardly. Very uneven and hazardous to walk on. High spots and low spots can cause ankle twists and tripping.

Pay attention to the brickwork and shower tile work...... they will use defective material and patch them up in a very amateur way.... When you reach out about the issue they will say that is the pattern of the brick. When you don't fall for that they will ignore you and never respond again.

I bought a small beautiful house. I look other houses in different fantastic designs. I recommend Lennar homes to my friends.

We are excited to be a part of the Samara Community in League City, Texas. We love the layout of our new home and all the amenities included in our purchase. The neighbors are very friendly and we look forward to many years of comfortable living here.
