It was difficult getting anyone when you needed answers to immediate questions, always had to leave messages and wait for responses. It was nerve wrecking to wait as needed answers to make informed decisions.

Home buying process felt rushed, our realtor also stated we would receive 2 ceiling fans which were never given. Was told we needed to sign a contract that very same day or else the interest rate and pricing of the home would increase the following day. We asked our agent to go through the contract with us prior to signing and he refused due to him being busy. We ended up having to visit the model home to have another agent explain the contract to us. We believed this was very unprofessional. The loan process required too many personal documents and there were too many contacts to keep updated. We had to re-upload many forms/paperwork into the portal and were quoted 24/48 hour deadlines with the threat of our loan not being approved. We were also not told that our closing day was done in person as we were initially told it was remote. Did not receive the address of the location of closing until 2-4 hours before the building closed. We love our home but the process of buying from Lennar was overly dreadful. ... More

Stay away from Lennar period. But If you must buy a Lennar home, please budget for thousands of dollar you will need to spend to get the home to a barely comfortable place to live. The price might seem reasonable at first, but when you calculate all the missing items in the home, you will end up paying significantly more than you you went with another builder. Also, be prepared for bad service all round and constant state of confusion amongst their staff.

Terrible management yard looks terrible couldn’t answer any questions and walked out

This is the first home that I bought that was built from the ground up and it’s hard on the review because Lennar’s People were magnificent. I couldn’t ask for better people to deal with, but I wasn’t too happy with the workmanship of the home and even when I did the walk-through, it’s Obvious that they could’ve took a little longer to do some of the projects. I didn’t complain too much about issues that I had moving into the home I had to get into the home as soon as possible, but if I was to buy another home I would make sure that I don’t give my notice Until I am in that home and everything was to perfection because I think that had a lot to do with it I’m really not a complainer so it’s hard every time I have to call about problems with the home. I was suggested not to get an inspector because the house was inspected thousands of times before I moved in. I wish I would have. Some of the biggest things that I have a problem with which I think they should have done way better job of is when they finish the construction they should hire somebody to come scrub the driveway because it was filthy and a lot of the dirtt is caked on and I’m gonna have to hire someone to fix it. The landscaping was great when I came to do the final walk-through but then I had water issues the ground was dug up. When they came over to fix it, they could have did a way better job. They didn’t put any work into it whatsoever. It’s just things like that that I’m had a little problem with. I know people just do what you’re allowing to get away with and I was so grateful for having the house and the financing that I received in the love I received from the company that a lot of the issues that I should’ve complained about I didn’t. ... We felt great going with Lennar because of the quality of the homes, warranties provided along with the purchase and low interest rates. They take care of you from beginning to end and post purchase. I recommend them 100% to everyone looking for a home.

The buying process was very bad. Communication issues, not reasonable demands, lots of uncertainty... it was very stressfully to me and my wife. The company retains the whole process, from mortgage to title, insurance. I was expecting more in terms of building quality. The soundproofing is very questionable. Outside noises specially but also internal noises from baths can be heard all over the house, something that was not an issue in my older houses and apartments. The small issues were fixed after some weeks.

Smooth transaction to purchase. Great communication with staff. House is what I expect at this price point. Is it perfect? Nope. But it’s what I need it to be at this moment.

My experience buying my first new home was exciting. And my salesman with Lennar was awesome.

Still am very unsettled about coming in to buy home that was advertised with a red slash through it and advertised as reduced price. Went in on last day unexpectedly when I got email on home sale. Went by address and walked around. I wanted it no matter what. I was told I had to pay full price and was given 2 different reasons that I can't remember why I could NOT have sale price advertised. One of those reasons was: I had to pay cash? So I had to pay full price. Why was my Representative paid commission on base price of home? I was told I had to purchase at full price. I need someone higher up to answer that honestly so I may understand clearly. Not from anyone in Sales Office. My Representative is working with another family and a different Agent in the office. They got the sale price advertised. It doesn't make sense. I don't know if all communities give you the home "CONSTRUCTION CLEAN" which means: paint splatters on floors, windows dirty inside and out, entire 2nd bath tub overed in overspray paint that took 2 hours to scrub off, wood dust in all drawers and cupboards and yard had several big pieces of metal, wood and trash at the corner of lot I am responsible to clean up. If I found 2 ladies eating lunch in my house that closed 5 days prior because they thought no one lived there. They looked like cleaning ladies? I have a huge list of things I am catching now that I am slowly moving in. They are kind and want to fix. My schedule is full. I will sit down next week and make my list of items that were all sloppy when completed. This is a BASIC HOUSE: Basic lower end carpet, lower end door stoppers, lower end bath tub, lower end washer hoses that are huge rubber ones instead of nicer metal hoses.They have called to help and see what my needs are. I appreciate that. I am finally going to address the items and see if they can be fixed. We will see. I will appreciate that when I make my final list next week of over 20 small issues I need to discuss. ... More

First off, the seller's liaison Maddy P. was a peach. She (among the CM) in my opinion went above and beyond their scope of work. She was/is friendly, considerate and professional. David S. the construction Manager (CM) was great to work with also. He actually delivered the undeliverable. I put together a list of eleven issues I had with the exterior (which most were already on his list) and he delivered all eleven and one was actually on the drawings accurately, but I just didn't like the detail and he delivered... Can't tell you what that was...but thanks David S. We went into this home buying experience knowing we could buy a Highland home complete with the designer's taste...for $205+/sqft, or buy a Lennar home for $160/sqft and put $12-$15/sqft into it, customizing it with our taste. Lennar gives you a functional home with some of the bells and whistles at a better than market value. We know that most people who buy a brand-new home do so, so they don't need to customize it, but our home will appraise at the top of the market for $30-$50/sqft more than we paid, just an idea... My experience was wonderful. My realtor Kacey is an awsome lady who does her job very professionally and is knowledgable about helping you get the home you deserve. She listens to you and carefully finds you what you want and stays with you all the way through the process.

Quality is very poor. finishes are substandard just and cheap. No pride in workmanship. Damages hidden and not even an even coat of paint.

Joe The entire experience was very good. Jeana and Ashliely were terrific in walking us thru the financing and closing process.

The home is solid. Initial issues were taken care of in a week after the first walk thru, Those issues were minor and only time will tell. The folks in finance department have their hands full and they are some great people! Overall it was a 4 star experience. Not bad or average...just good but not great! Why so many rentals already? Ask those questions as it impacts overall home quality.

Lennar has tried to automate too much of the buying process and lost customer service abilities. There was not clear expectations or communication though out the process resulting in a lot of frustration along the way.

We were pleased wish our purchase and so far the home is well built.....not many complaints. There are just a few minor issues that need to be fixed, for example a little touch up paint and texture.

The buying experience was terrible and the house has already had to get the air conditioner unit replaced. The air is CONSTANTLY messing up. The tile in the shower looks like it’s been done by someone who didn’t know what they were doing. Never again.

I would love to give Lennar 5 stars but my experience over several months with “one bad apple” sales agent Monica left Such a bad taste. I hope that if you chose to Buy Lennar you have a better sales experience because once you get to work with builder Justin and Tom they give you a 5 star experience. Quality should be their last names.

Price is good, but there is little attention to finishing. There are many doors poorly cut and painted. There is a generalized rush to close even if the details haven’t been fixed. And when asked for support on warranties, Lennar reps do not respond promptly
