The only thing I don’t like it is that I was contacted by an online representative and she gave me some information about the promotion and closing costs, and told me that there will be no closing costs but when my offer was accepted the Lennar agent told me that I have to pay the closing costs and our promotion on weekly basis, while no one can close a house in a week and the time for closing date signs by them , and then I had to pay a portion of closing but they told me because of that I have to higher interest rate instead the one I was told at the beginning

Had issues immediately after move in because no one noticed during the buying process the cities backflow pipe had been destroyed. Within 1 month our power failed in half the house to include HVAC due to a failure of the underground power line that was laid. There electrician partner Lennar has been almost no help. Overall I think we got the house at a good value but some I think Lennar needs to keep better tabs on the trades. It seems one doesn’t care about the damage they cause to another in pursuit of completion of their task. The issues we have had the Lennar team has worked hard and in a timely fashion to see issues get resolved and for that we are thankful. As for the the purchasing, Lennar finance was a nightmare. 1/10 would not recommend. I had a good experience after 22years to buy again a new home with lennar again a lot things changed anyways we done and easy process closing a home Iloved it my loan and everything was done in a nice way thanks to all who helped us in this process

There is a genuine concern by Lennar to fix anything which needs it.

Good deals; thoughtful design, good material used it seems For Workmanship and quality, we will ha e to wait for a year to see how things turn out.

The home is beautiful and we have enjoyed settling in. The home is spacious and laminate throughout is helpful as far as cleaning. My constructive criticism is as follows. The fresh air intake that is built in is terrible. Anytime anyone around is grilling or smoking outside, the odor ends up inside. A lot of the paint is flaking off in spots so the quality might not be the best. Shower walls are flimsy so be careful. We appreciate the timely manner in which things have been fixed, David is on top of things. We look forward to enjoying our home for many years to come.

The service received has been exceptional. Everyone has been helpful and responsive. Now, my not to good experience has been to received the home dirty and having to do service tickets. Other than that, I love my new home.

I had a great buying experience from Steve, he got me the price i wanted and actually listen to what i was looking for in a home when i came in. Didn’t feel rushed or pressured at all. He was awesome! After buying the home i did have 2 issues that needed major repair with plumbing and electrical. There were a lot of minor cosmetic issues i thought were addressed after the final walk through. Overall we are content with our purchase, however could spend more time doing QC before delivering final product to the customer.

The staff is friendly, responsive, and helpful.

Process was very fast and everyone was very helpful and responded to my questions in a timely manner. I only gave 3 stars for the value because currently all homes everywhere are overpriced when you look at the SF you're purchasing. Especially when the nearest big grocery stores and pharmacies are at least 20 mins away.

Salesperson and Construction portion of Lennar is excellent. Mortgage side needs improvement and is disorganized. After sale warranty division is great at communication but rigid and not on customer's side. Overall we are happy with our home. If I had another chance, I would use my own mortgage company.

Our hone buying experience was complicated from the beginning. We signed when Lennar was offering “smart home” packages. When we moved in and saw that we were missing the package, the rep told us they discontinued the package. He did however give us a gift card to purchase the ring doorbell and items we could install ourselves. The day we moved in was a mess. The house wasn’t ready even though we had done a private home inspection and done the walk thru with the Lennar rep. We waited at the Lennar corporate office for several hours because they had overbooked themselves on the closing day. We never even met the title guy or anyone we did our original paperwork with. The person who walked us through the closing documents told us she was only a notary and couldn’t answer any of our questions, which is why we opted for the in person closing in the first place. When we showed up for closing they still had no idea how much money we needed to bring with us so we ended up over paying and having to get a refund for the over payment. After closing we went back to the sales office and the rep couldn’t find our keys. We had to wait while the construction manager drive back from his house with them. After all that it was finally time to move in. We showed up bright and early with a moving company the next day, only to find out that half of our house didn’t have electricity. Several back and forth calls between Centerpoint, Lennar’s electric company, and the builder after a few days we finally had the repairs completed. We have had the “trades” come back to our house about a dozen times to make small repairs. Lennar’s customer service people are great but scheduling and actually getting the contractors out is a huge headache each time. They are no call no shows or show up at completely different days/times without regard to our personal lives. We are first time homeboys so we had no idea what to expect when we started this but after speaking to friends and family who purchased new homes from other builders, it seems like we may have made a bad decision choosing Lennar. We love our house but the actual construction and closing has been a nightmare. I’ve never purchased a new home before, so this was a new experience for me. Overall, everything went smoothly and we love the community that’s evolving. We are having issues with the installed yard drains (they’re not French drains) and incompatible grading, so familiarize yourself with the warranty and ticketing system. Overall, I would consider buying a Lennar home again.

Great customer service was the main reason I bought my home from Lennar. The sales team was professional and friendly. The customer care team is responsive and efficient as issues addressed quickly after move-in.

Overall this was a very good home buying experience with the highlight being working with Elisabeth on the build! I would've rated the whole experience 5 stars if it wasn't for some challenges dealing with Lennar financing including them pulling my credit report 3 times.

Lennar is definitely the best value for your dollar!

Our salesman was nice but our builder David was excellent. He really made it a great experience and made us feel very confident that we were getting a quality home. He dealt with all of our concerns no matter how minor, very quickly. He was prompt, efficient, professional but most of all kind,, understanding, easy to talk to. He explained everything along the process and was excellent to work with.

There has been a few issues with any new home built. One thing does bother me is a lot of the issues was electrical and even during construction there were issues with electrical installation. The Foreman and Sales staff were easy to work with.

Feel more care could have gone into details as well as the deep cleaning before move-in.

The quality of the home is very good and any issues are typically addressed quickly. There is an issue with the vinyl material used on the floors as it keeps chipping. I am currently negotiating with them to replace the floor with a higher quality material. I am confident there will be a positive outcome.

Lawn Contractor did horrible on grass installation. To many gaps in sod when installed and not enough topsoil to allow grass and shrubs to grow properly. Have dead spots and lots of weeds. Almost break ankle each time I mow. Its like mowing a corn field. Inside finish paint peels to easily. Appears to not bond to prime coat. Even after walk through with warranty manager paint still chipping and peeling. Caulking at doors and floor have already separated in several locations. It appears the floor tile installers didn't remove adhesive in several locations. It becomes apparent after use and cleaning. Touch up painting left paint drops on floor? Did they drop clothes? Had to tighten all door knobs and toilet paper holders. Towel holders were placed above electric outlets in bathrooms. Not good locations. Noticed tile has cracked going into first bedroom. ... More

My wife and I are enjoying our new home. After 6 months of living in it there are a number of things that could have been done better during the construction phase to lower the amount of repair tickets we have opened. Installing damaged trim for example could have been noticed up front. Door frames not square for another. Sometimes doing it right the first time lowers your overall expenses. The service after the fact by our customer service rep has been fantastic. The energy efficiency of the home through the hot summer months was better than expected. I would consider building another Lennar Home. I would have caught the issues during the construction phase and addressed them at that time, but we were 1000 miles away.
