Great customer service was the main reason I bought my home from Lennar. The sales team was professional and friendly. The customer care team is responsive and efficient as issues addressed quickly after move-in.

Overall this was a very good home buying experience with the highlight being working with Elisabeth on the build! I would've rated the whole experience 5 stars if it wasn't for some challenges dealing with Lennar financing including them pulling my credit report 3 times.

Lennar is definitely the best value for your dollar!

Really enjoyed the builder sales rep, construction site manager, and customer rep. All three have customer service personalities and are easy to communicate with. They also respond quickly.

Our salesman was nice but our builder David was excellent. He really made it a great experience and made us feel very confident that we were getting a quality home. He dealt with all of our concerns no matter how minor, very quickly. He was prompt, efficient, professional but most of all kind,, understanding, easy to talk to. He explained everything along the process and was excellent to work with.

It was a long process and wish I would have hired a private inspection.

Great Sales Consultant Brian, answered questions by email, text, or phone. Ryan, mortgage officer and loan processor gave satisfactory service, the loan process was overwhelming with documents, turnaround time, and zoom loan closing,website had hiccups, the quality assurance person for walkthrough was awesome! The warranty specialist Miema has also been great, addressing needs w electrical system and paint repairs.

Our Lennar home is very spacious and has a wonderful floor plan. That’s what sold us on the home. Our salesperson was very welcoming and seemed to really care and helped us in our search. She told us what our Lennar home came with and even wrote it down in an email. However when the home was being built things were different. We were told that sprinklers would be installed. She actually wrote it in an email along with our appliance package and garage door opener. We didn’t get the sprinklers and we’re finally told we should’ve looked at the option package that we signed. There were so many emails sent by Lennar about the home and the process with messages that it had to be sent back immediately. I didn’t really care for everything being done online. We didn’t really feel like things were personal and we had questions that didn’t get answers. The actual finish work was quite disappointing. Things were done haphazardly and we had to insist that many items be reinstalled and fixed. There were also some design elements that made no sense whatsoever. The utility room had a space for a fridge next to the dryer. However there was no plug and we were told that Lennar stopped putting them in for that several years ago. Lights were not centered and only the master and the family room were wired separately for ceiling fans. That seemed a bit cheap. We couldn’t even put a light over our dining room table because it had two can lights at either end. We were also told that plugs could not be installed on the island due to new building codes. However homes across the street and around the corner have them. It makes me wonder about the honesty of the builders and their representatives. There were several other designs that just didn’t make sense. Our Lennar loan officer on the other hand was absolutely terrific! She was so helpful and responded quickly to my questions and issues that came up. All in all we are glad we went with Lennar but would be much more content if there were some design changes and communication had been better. Right now we’re dealing with a roof leak and some AC issues. We’ll see how their service team responds. Hopefully they’ll do the right thing! ... More

Not exactly sure about the quality of workmanship. I found things that should have been done differently. Some paint, wood material that should have been changed out or turns another way. Flower beds are crowded. Way too many plants. Just odds and ends. Little things that add up. 90% are too small to call and have fixed. I did them myself

Lots of systems not functioning after move in: irrigation system dead, dead grass, electrical braker issue with appliance, paint peeling on front and back doors, no caulking around sinks, bathroom shower tile grout not sealed, drywall concerns.

Love the home but would have loved better quality and a little personalization.

I have had some issues that really bothered me and Im generally pretty easily please. Overall it was a ok experience but there is a lot of room for improvement when it comes to communication in the closing process.

It was a difficult experience but in the end everything turned out well.

The overall value of the house for what I paid is reasonable. However, when buying a new house, I do not expect things to have been installed incorrectly or cover-up made when contractors clearly broke something. It wasn’t until I took my first shower and my brand new home that I noticed the Shower liner had a crack at the top that had clearly been attempted to be covered up with caulk. At the top of the shower area there is about a 3 inch crack that had a thin layer of caulking over top that blended in and without being up close and personal, I could not see. Obviously, when it was installed, the contractor pushed too hard and cracked the wall, covered it and just carried on like nothing happened. I did call Lennar‘s warranty and they offered to repair it. However, I stated it needed to be replaced as I didn’t buy a new house to have something like that just covered up down the line there could be water damage possibly from The crack. They did replace it, but it was still a major inconvenience for me as I had to take the time first for a virtual appointment, then take a day off to wait for a plumber to come change it, and then have to wait for drywall people to come and fix the drywall. so now I do have a new shower wall, but I had to deal with the thin dust that was left behind from the drywall repair spend hours cleaning that. It now clearly looks like the shower lining has been cut out and re-drywall as it will never be a seamless line like it should be if it had just been done properly the first time. There have also been several other things such as the flooring is separating in several places which could just be from the foundation settling, or again from crappy contractors. Every door handle on every door has had to be re-tightened. I have also found trash underneath the sod and several other places as the contractors clearly were unable to find trash cans to throw their trash away . ... More

Very good sales attention. Slow attention on closing day

Shower tub can be better. It’s plastic all over driveway. They can put some scorn light. I am also the living room and bedroom. They can put some ceiling fan. And last in the kitchen, they can put some backsplash thank you.

Ryan was kind and responsive. We had one minor hiccup where I felt like my closing was unnecessarily pushed but I don’t totally blame him. Mischle in finance was extremely rude and unprofessional. She was very short with me and not helpful whatsoever. We’ve also had a few not great experiences with the warranty department. Some items that were promised were then not followed through with the warranty department. They seem quick to shut down all issues brought to their attention. kept all email records and can provide upon request. On a positive note, Sydney I absolutely loved. She was the sweetest, most friendly and helpful. I also had the best experience with our project manager Luke and walk through rep. They made the experience completely worth it. ... More

Major complaint was in the lawn. Sod was placed haphazardly. Very uneven and hazardous to walk on. High spots and low spots can cause ankle twists and tripping.

Lennar realtor rep did not accurately provide available homes, prices, and timelines.

Representative are very helpful.

Salesperson said maybe on incentives,sales manager no communication wouldn't return calls.Fencing in yard 6 inches above ground-they answer was they don't fix that. LOVE the home! But room for improvement on builderrs side

Quality of the workmanship for the sheet rock was horrible, we had to pay out of pocket to correct some of the walls and even after that the ceiling has very bad crease's where they should have floated the sheet rock. Final walk through was somewhat helpless and those issues weren’t fix as well.

Over all my experience was great for a first time buyer

This is the first home that I bought that was built from the ground up and it’s hard on the review because Lennar’s People were magnificent. I couldn’t ask for better people to deal with, but I wasn’t too happy with the workmanship of the home and even when I did the walk-through, it’s Obvious that they could’ve took a little longer to do some of the projects. I didn’t complain too much about issues that I had moving into the home I had to get into the home as soon as possible, but if I was to buy another home I would make sure that I don’t give my notice Until I am in that home and everything was to perfection because I think that had a lot to do with it I’m really not a complainer so it’s hard every time I have to call about problems with the home. I was suggested not to get an inspector because the house was inspected thousands of times before I moved in. I wish I would have. Some of the biggest things that I have a problem with which I think they should have done way better job of is when they finish the construction they should hire somebody to come scrub the driveway because it was filthy and a lot of the dirtt is caked on and I’m gonna have to hire someone to fix it. The landscaping was great when I came to do the final walk-through but then I had water issues the ground was dug up. When they came over to fix it, they could have did a way better job. They didn’t put any work into it whatsoever. It’s just things like that that I’m had a little problem with. I know people just do what you’re allowing to get away with and I was so grateful for having the house and the financing that I received in the love I received from the company that a lot of the issues that I should’ve complained about I didn’t. ...
