Overall it was a good experience moving from Indiana to Texas. Lennar was accommodating with scheduling for closing and walkthroughs. Closing was online. The house is great. It has been a month so far and we haven’t had any issues with the home itself. I would recommend considering Lennar for future purchases.

Not complain good service nice area

The home buying process was a nightmare from having a processor who had been only been working for 2 weeks in his position to a lender who had only been working in hers for a month. Closing day I still didn’t know my closing costs, I’ve now been in my home a month. I’ve run into SEVERAL issues from a faulty breaker box, to a improperly installed garage door just to name a few. I’ve put in SEVERAL repair requests and not one of the items have been completed. The communication is horrible, if you need anything repaired be prepared to pay for it out of pocket because you will be completely ignored. I'll say the sales member for Lennar was probably the best employee Lennar has. He was always returning calls and finding solutions for us if we had an issue. On the other hand, the builder was not. The builder/CM was always giving some excuse and or promising something and not coming through. We have since closing, realized how much he missed in the building process as well as didn't do something he said he would before close. Have heard rumors that he's just average in terms of CM and was not the best one on this development. I can certainly attest to that at this point.

My home buying experience with Lennar was great absolutely zero issues or complaints & I love my new area ..but for the price these homes are currently being sold for the flooring is very sub par unless you love a lot of carpet & I've seen better quality bath tubs in an apartment

Seller told us that all houses came with a garage door opener. Nope. HVAC system was leaking the first two months, during weeks of 100+ degree heat. Buying process was a nightmare.

The home is beautiful and we are happy with the whole cast of people who were involved. They all went over and beyond. From Katie to Nancy, Todd, Glenn, and all others I could not have found a more helpful group, Thanks to all of you.

customer service responded quickly to the few things that needed corrected after the purchase.

Fairly easy process buying and financing thru Lennar Mortgage. The home came with a family of mice in the attic and the outside is spider city but an annual pest control plan has kept the inside pest free. The home has had a few issues with with plumbing and electrical but Lennar has come back out to fix them within a few days as they arise. The insulation and HVAC is really good, house stays cool easily and the electric bills have been around $120/ month in the hot summer.

So much problems with the house.

Lennar has affordable homes but terrible customer experience. I had the run around with the lender from day one (even lasted after I closed). If you are a person doing this without an experienced realtor, I beg you to reconsider. Your realtor won’t get the full 3% but they will help you navigate the many issues you’ll run into with Lennar’s in house lender. I wanted to go with a different lender but the deals offered by Lennar were better. The quality of my home seems to be fine. And the deal was amazing but I have spent so much money to buy necessities that should have been included. If you’re buying in houston, negotiate gutters and an irrigation system. They’re terribly expensive but needed. My first home, built in Chicago, was a different process and actually really a great experience. I’m not sure why I had such a problem this time. Easy process, knowledgeable, value, take ownership, make you feel like you matter

I really like how Lennar works with home buyers. Lennar provides the full service, one stop shop when it comes to the purchase of a new home. All services work together to ensure a great home buying experience. I would highly recommend Lennar over other home builders in the area.

The process takes time but you are guided throughout till closing

My sales associate Kasey was awesome and super helpful! The home itself is ok as far as workmanship goes, you can clearly see the building crews have no cares about the quality of work when building the homes.

The loan officer I worked with was great, and his assistant was a problem. Others on the mortgage team were good too. Many of the fixtures in the house are of very poor quality: toilets, faucets, etc. The stairs into the attic are a REAL PROBLEM. You have to get 10 feet up on a ladder to even reach the attic ladder, and then you have to pull so hard that falling is a real danger.

Overall, I am satisfied with my home purchase. This is greatly due to our salesperson JOSE!!!!! He was AMAZING!! We chose to go with Lennar's Mortgage company due to the incentives being offered. Working with the mortgage company was a TERRIBLE experience from beginning to end!! Without Jose assisting us, we would have stopped the whole purchase process very quickly. But, thanks to Jose, we continued with the purchase and have successfully moved in. The walk-through process is so quick that it's hard to find all the things that needed correcting, but they do have a 1 year warranty which we will definitely be using to get the things that were missed corrected. My initial contact with that department has been positive so far and hopefully that will continue! The construction manager that was present during the walkthrough was kind and helpful. The employee who actually did our walkthrough was also kind and knowledgeable, just moved us through pretty quickly which was a little frustrating, but I understand they have pretty booked schedules. Just wish it weren't so rushed. We like the community so far. I'm glad we are not paying for a neighborhood pool so our HOA fees are not ridiculously high, but we do have nice playground areas for kids and decent walking areas. I like the fact that Lennar homes come standard....the price is the price, no paying thousands of $$ for "options". I just wish the homes came with sprinkler systems for the yards. The communication with client could have been better.

Sales and purchase were easy. Many of the Lennar systems don’t talk to each other so that was somewhat frustrating. After inspection and move in we found quite a few issues. Nothing that I feel confident that the warranty department would take seriously (house not sealed at roof - mice coming in). Been a Lennar home owner before, and Project Management and Quality Control is seriously lacking.
