The actual building team (overseeing manager, contractors, subcontractors) is where my biggest issue is. When we arrived on the final walkthrough there was quite a bit not done, the house was far from clean, and the yard looked terrible. Keep in mind this is after we did the initial walkthrough and put things on our list to be repaired and/or cleaned. Paint was sloppy, we still don't have all the caulking done on the exterior, and the railings aren't level to just mention a few things. Our Customer Service Rep has been fantastic at helping schedule contractors and what not but those contractors have been unreliable at best. We are now 4 months in our home and there are still things that haven't been done. Our Sales Rep, though, has gone above and beyond to try and compensate the best she can so this truly seems to be more of a contractor issue than a Lennar as a company issue. ... More

Overall happiness with the new home. Some issues, minor, but we're resolved quickly.

Love the experience of buying a home. I enjoyed most of the process. There were times at which it was stressful and chaotic but I didn’t plan on buying a home during a pandemic, either. Appreciative of what Lennar offers.

constructor was horrible,, no experience

House was not closed on time as promised and I have to pay additional appraisal money .The customer team is awesome. Initial walk was great and everything was explained in detail .After closing of the house there were some issues that were resolved in timely fashion. Over all experience with Lennar was good !!!!

Anything I asked for was always a road block

The sales department was amazing. The mortgage department is lacking at best.

We moved in on January 23,2021 and on the 24th we had a major flood in the main bathroom. The water when under the sink and out into the hallway and hallway closet and underneath the wall into the living room. We immediately notified Robin, she came out and looked at the damage and said she would replace everything that was water damaged. That was January 25, 2021. As of today May 25, 2021 nothing and I mean nothing has been done. The baseboards moved away from the wall and I am worried about mold in the walls. I would like to have this fixed ASAP..

My advice to new home owners is to read the fine lines of the contract as well as have it independently evaluated. Home was contracted to be delivered in December and did not receive until January therefore delayed in homestead and could not qualify for homestead until 2022. Also had to have pods for furniture storage that cost additional storing expenses as well as labor expenses. Being a first time home owner from out of state found that lot of things were not done properly. Floors were of poor quality. Never have a vinyl floor installed as it is extremely difficult to clean and never given an option to chose the floor; No towel rack in master shower room or medicine cabinets in any bathroom or safety grab bar either. shower pan in master bedroom does not drain properly as it has to be squeegeed as pool of water retains, lawns are not properly sod as there is a lot of uneven ground; even the valves do not drain properly and had to be fixed. My suggestion is to have a good experienced quality check done by the builder and not get brushed off by their coordinators for the area as they don't like to do and that makes home owners not happy. I had never built a home before, but Lennar made the experience easy. My salesperson overpromised on what could be delivered. He told me I could extend my patio & add a flood light. It was written on the documents I initially signed, but one month before I closed I was told that was no longer possible. I was also told that landscaping would be put in to cover the ATT box & that never happened. Overall, had a great experience. I just wish they would have been upfront and honest about what they could (or couldnt) do ahead of time.

Lennar Homes at Aliana is over priced and interest rate isn't as competitive and anticipated.

Material selections limited to colors. Nice being able to move in with everything included like blinds and refrigerator plus set up as a smart home. Quality is better than the other builders in our development.

Wish they wouldn’t take so long fixing things, so i won’t be a bother

We love the smart home and connectivity, and for the most part the materials used to build and finished the home. The kitchen appliance package should be of better quality, we had issues with the stove and dishwasher and had to fight with the manufacturer for service. Also, some of the trim work was not clean and sharp with globs of paint and unfinished spots, not clean and sharp as I was expecting Lennar to finish homes, also, we still have issues with water puddles in different areas, even though it has been repaired twice already. Rob, Brenda, & Robin....have ALL been excellent in helping throughout the purchase & transitioning into my new LENNAR home. They’ve always been very professional & courteous with me & my requests. For the most part, Rob has been very expedient in handling fixes as well. I have been truly grateful - for the way he stepped up in one specific instance with my yard when I 1st moved in. I have a few issues I’m currntly trying to be patient on getting corrected - but I have full confidence that - those too, will be handled with the same professionalism. They did make the home buying process very easy. It seems as if they push and push to get you approved, then drag their feet. Other than that, overall experience was not bad.

Lennar has a solid but average process and quality. I have purchased a few homes in the last few years and they don't do anything to set themselves apart and have some questionable procedures that really need to be updated.

the floors in this home are so hard that have been in excruciating pain since moving in and I consider this house unlivable! if I could trade it in I would it. I cannot recommend anyone buy a home from lennar if this is the type of flooring that will be in your home. the pain I am in out weighs any good. I will say that responsiveness has been quick but no avail. The overall home buying experience besides a few delays was pretty good the salesperson James was very helpful and patient, and I felt Diana who did the walk through was trustworthy, but again, the flooring is so awful I would have to give it a zero on quality of workmanship and materials is substandard and I would see inhumane and criminal. I do not think the value is worth what I paid and after 8 months of looking for a home and moving over 1,000 and all of the obstacles I faced to get here, I am looking to get out in less than one month of moving in ... Sloppy work during final walk through. Missed a lot that we flagged. Has taken 3 weeks and counting to fix issues reported to them.

Lennar offered great designs, indeed beautiful houses, but not really impressed with details. From cleanliness to items not ready @ delivery, to customer support, many items were left unplug, uninstalled, open access to controls, lack of explanation on upgrades, the list is long. In my experience, there was lack of communication, customers deserve RESPECT for our commitment to our biggest investments of our lives, please DO BETTER for future home owners. Despite all complaints, I still love Tavola and my home elevation.

The office people are all very pleasant, very helpful. The quality of work done on my house is poor. The sloppiness of the painters, lack of caulk, paint on the floor, chunks on the light switches, grit all over the tub, shower doesn't drain. My windows and walls and door frame is crooked. Some flooring has already been replaced as well. I've had issues with the water, electric and gas, just to name a few. I've had new homes built in the past, all I had were nail pops after a year....I've had all these issues within a months time. I'm working with a pleasant girl in the office, and she has been helping me make appointments and getting people out to repair the issues, which is frustrating. It took 5 people and 3 hours to flag the visual issues on my first walk through. I love the size and layout of my home, it's just sad that it's not a happy, joyful experience that I expected in moving into my new home. ... More

Our walkway was left messy and I was told the developers supposed to fix it. I have sent several emails to get someone to fix our walkway, still no one is taking responsibility for it. A new community walkway shouldn’t be looking a mess.

If you are buying a home from Lennar, just know that there might be better options and more expensive. I like the house, the only thing right now is that we’ve asked to come and repair a couple of issues and we haven’t gotten a response back… it’s been about two months since we put the request and nothing.

Interested in selling but lennar buil quality is poor
