The sales department was amazing. The mortgage department is lacking at best.

Lennar Homes at Aliana is over priced and interest rate isn't as competitive and anticipated.

They did make the home buying process very easy. It seems as if they push and push to get you approved, then drag their feet. Other than that, overall experience was not bad.

Lots of systems not functioning after move in: irrigation system dead, dead grass, electrical braker issue with appliance, paint peeling on front and back doors, no caulking around sinks, bathroom shower tile grout not sealed, drywall concerns.

Love the home but would have loved better quality and a little personalization.

Lennar realtor rep did not accurately provide available homes, prices, and timelines.

Salesperson said maybe on incentives,sales manager no communication wouldn't return calls.Fencing in yard 6 inches above ground-they answer was they don't fix that. LOVE the home! But room for improvement on builderrs side

Quality of the workmanship for the sheet rock was horrible, we had to pay out of pocket to correct some of the walls and even after that the ceiling has very bad crease's where they should have floated the sheet rock. Final walk through was somewhat helpless and those issues weren’t fix as well.

Over all my experience was great for a first time buyer

This is the first home that I bought that was built from the ground up and it’s hard on the review because Lennar’s People were magnificent. I couldn’t ask for better people to deal with, but I wasn’t too happy with the workmanship of the home and even when I did the walk-through, it’s Obvious that they could’ve took a little longer to do some of the projects. I didn’t complain too much about issues that I had moving into the home I had to get into the home as soon as possible, but if I was to buy another home I would make sure that I don’t give my notice Until I am in that home and everything was to perfection because I think that had a lot to do with it I’m really not a complainer so it’s hard every time I have to call about problems with the home. I was suggested not to get an inspector because the house was inspected thousands of times before I moved in. I wish I would have. Some of the biggest things that I have a problem with which I think they should have done way better job of is when they finish the construction they should hire somebody to come scrub the driveway because it was filthy and a lot of the dirtt is caked on and I’m gonna have to hire someone to fix it. The landscaping was great when I came to do the final walk-through but then I had water issues the ground was dug up. When they came over to fix it, they could have did a way better job. They didn’t put any work into it whatsoever. It’s just things like that that I’m had a little problem with. I know people just do what you’re allowing to get away with and I was so grateful for having the house and the financing that I received in the love I received from the company that a lot of the issues that I should’ve complained about I didn’t. ... Anything I asked for was always a road block

The overall value of the house for what I paid is reasonable. However, when buying a new house, I do not expect things to have been installed incorrectly or cover-up made when contractors clearly broke something. It wasn’t until I took my first shower and my brand new home that I noticed the Shower liner had a crack at the top that had clearly been attempted to be covered up with caulk. At the top of the shower area there is about a 3 inch crack that had a thin layer of caulking over top that blended in and without being up close and personal, I could not see. Obviously, when it was installed, the contractor pushed too hard and cracked the wall, covered it and just carried on like nothing happened. I did call Lennar‘s warranty and they offered to repair it. However, I stated it needed to be replaced as I didn’t buy a new house to have something like that just covered up down the line there could be water damage possibly from The crack. They did replace it, but it was still a major inconvenience for me as I had to take the time first for a virtual appointment, then take a day off to wait for a plumber to come change it, and then have to wait for drywall people to come and fix the drywall. so now I do have a new shower wall, but I had to deal with the thin dust that was left behind from the drywall repair spend hours cleaning that. It now clearly looks like the shower lining has been cut out and re-drywall as it will never be a seamless line like it should be if it had just been done properly the first time. There have also been several other things such as the flooring is separating in several places which could just be from the foundation settling, or again from crappy contractors. Every door handle on every door has had to be re-tightened. I have also found trash underneath the sod and several other places as the contractors clearly were unable to find trash cans to throw their trash away . ... More

The overall purchasing experience was pleasant. Our consultant was wonderful and helpful. Our customer care representative is great, always helpful and knowledgeable. However, our loan officer was terrible, non responsive or helpful. Our paint is already peeling so the quality is not great. We’ve received information in our closing docs that we’re now being told they will not honor so that’s disappointing. We do love our home and the community so that’s a plus.

My Lennar dream home turned into a nightmare. Drain lines backed up into the house . Had to have them cleaned out 3 times in the first month. Electrical plug-ins and light switches are in the wrong place on the walls. Cabinet doors installed wrong. Stove is unlevel. I could go on and on but I'm running out of room to write.

We moved in on January 23,2021 and on the 24th we had a major flood in the main bathroom. The water when under the sink and out into the hallway and hallway closet and underneath the wall into the living room. We immediately notified Robin, she came out and looked at the damage and said she would replace everything that was water damaged. That was January 25, 2021. As of today May 25, 2021 nothing and I mean nothing has been done. The baseboards moved away from the wall and I am worried about mold in the walls. I would like to have this fixed ASAP..

My advice to new home owners is to read the fine lines of the contract as well as have it independently evaluated. Home was contracted to be delivered in December and did not receive until January therefore delayed in homestead and could not qualify for homestead until 2022. Also had to have pods for furniture storage that cost additional storing expenses as well as labor expenses. Being a first time home owner from out of state found that lot of things were not done properly. Floors were of poor quality. Never have a vinyl floor installed as it is extremely difficult to clean and never given an option to chose the floor; No towel rack in master shower room or medicine cabinets in any bathroom or safety grab bar either. shower pan in master bedroom does not drain properly as it has to be squeegeed as pool of water retains, lawns are not properly sod as there is a lot of uneven ground; even the valves do not drain properly and had to be fixed. My suggestion is to have a good experienced quality check done by the builder and not get brushed off by their coordinators for the area as they don't like to do and that makes home owners not happy. Builders do try to get things done but unfortunately it is not handled to home owners satisfaction. Too early to tell about the quality as time will tell. ... More

Lennar has a solid but average process and quality. I have purchased a few homes in the last few years and they don't do anything to set themselves apart and have some questionable procedures that really need to be updated.

Lennar offered great designs, indeed beautiful houses, but not really impressed with details. From cleanliness to items not ready @ delivery, to customer support, many items were left unplug, uninstalled, open access to controls, lack of explanation on upgrades, the list is long. In my experience, there was lack of communication, customers deserve RESPECT for our commitment to our biggest investments of our lives, please DO BETTER for future home owners. Despite all complaints, I still love Tavola and my home elevation.

If you are buying a home from Lennar, just know that there might be better options and more expensive. I like the house, the only thing right now is that we’ve asked to come and repair a couple of issues and we haven’t gotten a response back… it’s been about two months since we put the request and nothing.

I paid a good price for this home but I see many of the materials us3d to construct my home are poor or low quality that will not last more than 4 to 5 years like the exterior siding made out of compressed wood not cement hardy bia4ds. I also see loopholes to avoid some warranty repairs like trees that died 2 weeks after purchase date etc. Overall, good price but I will not buy a lennar home again. Thank you for the survey

the floors in this home are so hard that have been in excruciating pain since moving in and I consider this house unlivable! if I could trade it in I would it. I cannot recommend anyone buy a home from lennar if this is the type of flooring that will be in your home. the pain I am in out weighs any good. I will say that responsiveness has been quick but no avail. The overall home buying experience besides a few delays was pretty good the salesperson James was very helpful and patient, and I felt Diana who did the walk through was trustworthy, but again, the flooring is so awful I would have to give it a zero on quality of workmanship and materials is substandard and I would see inhumane and criminal. I do not think the value is worth what I paid and after 8 months of looking for a home and moving over 1,000 and all of the obstacles I faced to get here, I am looking to get out in less than one month of moving in ...
