Love the home but would have loved better quality and a little personalization.

I have had some issues that really bothered me and Im generally pretty easily please. Overall it was a ok experience but there is a lot of room for improvement when it comes to communication in the closing process.

It was a difficult experience but in the end everything turned out well.

The overall value of the house for what I paid is reasonable. However, when buying a new house, I do not expect things to have been installed incorrectly or cover-up made when contractors clearly broke something. It wasn’t until I took my first shower and my brand new home that I noticed the Shower liner had a crack at the top that had clearly been attempted to be covered up with caulk. At the top of the shower area there is about a 3 inch crack that had a thin layer of caulking over top that blended in and without being up close and personal, I could not see. Obviously, when it was installed, the contractor pushed too hard and cracked the wall, covered it and just carried on like nothing happened. I did call Lennar‘s warranty and they offered to repair it. However, I stated it needed to be replaced as I didn’t buy a new house to have something like that just covered up down the line there could be water damage possibly from The crack. They did replace it, but it was still a major inconvenience for me as I had to take the time first for a virtual appointment, then take a day off to wait for a plumber to come change it, and then have to wait for drywall people to come and fix the drywall. so now I do have a new shower wall, but I had to deal with the thin dust that was left behind from the drywall repair spend hours cleaning that. It now clearly looks like the shower lining has been cut out and re-drywall as it will never be a seamless line like it should be if it had just been done properly the first time. There have also been several other things such as the flooring is separating in several places which could just be from the foundation settling, or again from crappy contractors. Every door handle on every door has had to be re-tightened. Very good sales attention. Slow attention on closing day

Shower tub can be better. It’s plastic all over driveway. They can put some scorn light. I am also the living room and bedroom. They can put some ceiling fan. And last in the kitchen, they can put some backsplash thank you.

Ryan was kind and responsive. We had one minor hiccup where I felt like my closing was unnecessarily pushed but I don’t totally blame him. Mischle in finance was extremely rude and unprofessional. She was very short with me and not helpful whatsoever. We’ve also had a few not great experiences with the warranty department. Some items that were promised were then not followed through with the warranty department. They seem quick to shut down all issues brought to their attention. kept all email records and can provide upon request. On a positive note, Sydney I absolutely loved. She was the sweetest, most friendly and helpful. I also had the best experience with our project manager Luke and walk through rep. They made the experience completely worth it. ... More

Major complaint was in the lawn. Sod was placed haphazardly. Very uneven and hazardous to walk on. High spots and low spots can cause ankle twists and tripping.

Lennar realtor rep did not accurately provide available homes, prices, and timelines.

Representative are very helpful.

Salesperson said maybe on incentives,sales manager no communication wouldn't return calls.Fencing in yard 6 inches above ground-they answer was they don't fix that. LOVE the home! But room for improvement on builderrs side

Quality of the workmanship for the sheet rock was horrible, we had to pay out of pocket to correct some of the walls and even after that the ceiling has very bad crease's where they should have floated the sheet rock. Final walk through was somewhat helpless and those issues weren’t fix as well.

Over all my experience was great for a first time buyer

This is the first home that I bought that was built from the ground up and it’s hard on the review because Lennar’s People were magnificent. I couldn’t ask for better people to deal with, but I wasn’t too happy with the workmanship of the home and even when I did the walk-through, it’s Obvious that they could’ve took a little longer to do some of the projects. I didn’t complain too much about issues that I had moving into the home I had to get into the home as soon as possible, but if I was to buy another home I would make sure that I don’t give my notice Until I am in that home and everything was to perfection because I think that had a lot to do with it I’m really not a complainer so it’s hard every time I have to call about problems with the home. I was suggested not to get an inspector because the house was inspected thousands of times before I moved in. I wish I would have. Some of the biggest things that I have a problem with which I think they should have done way better job of is when they finish the construction they should hire somebody to come scrub the driveway because it was filthy and a lot of the dirtt is caked on and I’m gonna have to hire someone to fix it. The landscaping was great when I came to do the final walk-through but then I had water issues the ground was dug up. When they came over to fix it, they could have did a way better job. They didn’t put any work into it whatsoever. It’s just things like that that I’m had a little problem with. I know people just do what you’re allowing to get away with and I was so grateful for having the house and the financing that I received in the love I received from the company that a lot of the issues that I should’ve complained about I didn’t. ... Price is good, but there is little attention to finishing. There are many doors poorly cut and painted. There is a generalized rush to close even if the details haven’t been fixed. And when asked for support on warranties, Lennar reps do not respond promptly

Overall we are happy with the purchase of our Lennar Home. I’ve noticed there are minor things that are somewhat of an annoyance when it comes to the quality of work performed- not square walls, minor imperfections throughout the home. Watching the houses go up around us in the neighborhood it makes sense because it’s happening so quickly. However, all issues are very minor and we are truly happy with our purchase. No regrets here and would recommend Lennar to friends and family!

I can put up with the noise of new construction around me (2-3 blocks away), but the workers play music so loud that I can't hear my own TV.

The overall purchasing experience was pleasant. Our consultant was wonderful and helpful. Our customer care representative is great, always helpful and knowledgeable. However, our loan officer was terrible, non responsive or helpful. Our paint is already peeling so the quality is not great. We’ve received information in our closing docs that we’re now being told they will not honor so that’s disappointing. We do love our home and the community so that’s a plus.

A lot of back splash from the paint and back door problems and landscaping problems water not draining properly

Overall ok experance. Communication was biggest problem make your realtor keeps you informed of all aspects of the buying and building process.

My Lennar dream home turned into a nightmare. Drain lines backed up into the house . Had to have them cleaned out 3 times in the first month. Electrical plug-ins and light switches are in the wrong place on the walls. Cabinet doors installed wrong. Stove is unlevel. I could go on and on but I'm running out of room to write.

Quality of the home is great but I was quite disappointed with the communication of the builder. I got almost no updates unless I pushed really hard. I also was amused by the fact that the home didn't come with a fridge for the asking price.

Some issues along the way but that's to be expected during any new home buying experience. Very responsive to any issues that have come up.

Didn’t get a choice on anything in the home (covid supply issues). Craftsmanship isn’t the greatest, subfloor unlevel and was supposedly fixed with float, lots of Sheetrock repairs during construction, repaired but can still see where it was. Trim on doors where locks go is cut wrong on all exterior doors. AC wasn’t zoned right, plumbing fixtures feel cheap. Overall it’s a good home but seems like tradesmen didn’t care about doing a quality job

We had many issues after closing with poor workmanship, faulty valves, siding , etc. The great part about Lennar is their customer service. Call or text , they answer in a speedy fashion and get the issues resolved in basically very little time. My personal experience is, the builder hurries to finish the house and be ready for move in and details are left out and fixed after move in but their customer service is great and saves the day :-)
