My overall experience was good. I do not want to fault them for the craft folks they hire and workmanship that they do. There were items along the way that concerned me, but overall most were taken care of. I have yet to receive my exterior house colors for touch up . I have emailed my salesperson and he keeps sending me the same document of the items included in the house, BUT I want to know the NAMES of the colors used for the exterior. Anyway, for the price at the time it was a good value.

The house itself is very well made with lots of technology. The overall buying experience was not terrible, just stay away from getting loan with lennar.

Unfortunately I had a leak inside of a wall due to unfinished piping from AC unit in the attic

Home buying experience was average as I've bought from another builder previously and it was the same. My issue is they rush to build these houses as fast as possible and they make A LOT of mistakes. We've already had to make numerous warranty claims after only 5-6 weeks of living in the house. SLOW DOWN AND BUILD THE HOUSES WITH MORE CARE.

Overall, I had a good experience with Lennar. However, I felt like I was just a number. This was also my first time ever purchasing a home. So nothing felt personable or anything. Because Lennar is such a large builder and they have so many clients, I felt like a a dollar sign to them. The financing and sales people have this demeanor about them thats like okay, we just want the money. We dont care if you are having any anxiety about anything. We wont be lenient to your feelings about making probably the largest purchase of your life. We just dont care cause we got others who are willing to buy. I had the worst closing experience ever as well. Since I was a first timer, I felt like things werent readily explained to me either. Like I received an email saying that I owed more money than I already paid. I also was told to be at closing at a particular time and that I HAD to be on time because they had others that were closing as well. I asked if I coukd schedule my closing for later in the day and I was told No i couldnt because they has SOO many people closing. I got there about 20 minutes early, took time off work and then waited for over an hour to sign documents, even though I was told to be on time, but yet my papers were not. My home buying experience was traumatic and stressful. I’m told by other home buyers that that’s just the way it is. I don’t see why. I’m blessed to have my home since it happened because of Hurricane Beryl but the endless questions (many I answered more than once), the paperwork asked for at unreasonable times of day and night caused me anxiety. In the end, my happiness in buying my first home was overshadowed by exhaustion and relief. Fun fact; I learned that TX homes don’t automatically come with shutters (I just paid for that, it affects your foundation in the long run but it’s on the homeowner). They also saw no need to give towel racks and I’m missing a closet shelf on purpose (I have to install my own if I want one.) Did I mention I’m tired? ... More

Overall home is OK. Nothing that makes them stand out above other area builders. We liked the floor plan over other builders options. Utilizing Lennar mortgage was a nightmare.

In a 2400 sqft house, lennar provide only one sink in master bedroom and their original design is questionable. Plus using wood floor instead of tiles in all bathrooms. Only one Ethernet connection in the whole house which is only in living room. The room facing main road has only one small window in lennar wildflower II collection in Marigold elevation B plan. Overall plan for marigold is really good. And spacious. Bath tub size is too small to fit in secondary bathrooms. These are all small design changes that gives more satisfaction if it were included in original plan.

Felt like I was being rushed once paperwork were required of me but when I wanted answers it took longer to get them. If I had to do it all over again, I would have hired an outside inspector from the initial concrete pour until final inspection.

Neither bathroom came with any towel hangers, when sink, bathroom and shower normally have one. We are willing to forego the missing top bathroom cabinets. Pavement to the front door has a couple of holes exposing inner wood. We are still very happy with the new house, but the above needs attention.

NOT MUCH CONTACT WITH BUILDER

Needs more supervision of sub-contractor workmanship. However, the builder did make everything correct after demanding corrections.

The AC was not working when we moved in. We did not get internet services for one month from the day we signed. There is a septic truck outside the house every second day. I am not sure if this home is connected to the city sewerage system . Other minor issues need not be mentioned.

Inexperienced but enthusiastic and sweet personality

My Lender expereince sucked. Barely was able to get in contact with Rich W. Would have liked to have more interaction with him being that I was a first time homebuyer! Other than that, the construction team was helpful and friendly. I will probably not use Lennar as a Lender in the future.

I would love to give Lennar 5 stars but my experience over several months with “one bad apple” sales agent Monica left Such a bad taste. I hope that if you chose to Buy Lennar you have a better sales experience because once you get to work with builder Justin and Tom they give you a 5 star experience. Quality should be their last names.

Seller told us that all houses came with a garage door opener. Nope. HVAC system was leaking the first two months, during weeks of 100+ degree heat. Buying process was a nightmare.

Would have liked to have had more flexibility in making minor changes.

Our experience with Lennar was a mixed bag. Issues with Lennar Mortgage aside, Lennar was helpful and prompt with questions and inquiries. There were some miscommunications (in regards to ceiling fans and gutters), but the issue was resolved with the help of Alejandra. She did a great job with sticking her neck out for us to help rectify the issue. However, I am fairly upset that it head not communicated to us that we had a transformer box in our backyard, prior to the electrical tech coming onto our property unannounced and uninvited.

Positive experience with sales department though annoyed with constant price increases during discussion period. Experience with mortgage division very frustrating. Most trade work par for production home. Brushed paint and caulk work done on site is marginal at best. Warranty performance good so far.

I liked the representative. She went above and beyond to help us and make us happy but when it came to the construction it was finish quick and we will fix it once we close on the house. I have been having major problems with the subfloor (it creaks). This is NOT my first home that I have built and for someone to tell me all homes creak, yes they do, OLD HOMES not brand new construction homes. Then, there is the issue with the sheetrock. It is beginning to bulge out, again all these issues are things that shouldn't be happening within 2 months of living there. On the contrary to the construction, their customer service is excellent. The sales guy I dealt with was not 100% honest about things that would be included in the home. We noticed a lot of things that needed to be done during the walk through that was done afterwards. There was a lot more things that were not done or were not done the way they were supposed to be done, because the construction manager was not available during the completion of my home and because this is my first home I wasn’t aware of everything I needed to be looking for. Their responsiveness to fix everything in a timely manner I was grateful for.

Just wish the home had better finishes
