My family’s experience with Lennar was appalling start to finish. We will never be using them again.

Positive experience with sales department though annoyed with constant price increases during discussion period. Experience with mortgage division very frustrating. Most trade work par for production home. Brushed paint and caulk work done on site is marginal at best. Warranty performance good so far.

I been thinking about weather I should or not write a review but as I get to know my neighbors and we talk about our experience I think I should. Our closing experience in both the construction and financial aspects was not ideal. The construction manager was not very helpful and the quality of his work was not up to par. We have been constantly submitting claims for repairs. Builders excuse to things not getting done at closing was “because of COVID the trades are not as good”. I tell you the prince of a house has not declined but quality sure has.

Faced some issues like AC was wrong installed by Airtron which caused water leak but Felicity Garza immediately took action and send different company (Airteam) to get it fixed, she is extremely helpful. She was and is always available to solve our problems. She resolved lot of our issues one by one. Lennar is a good brand name and we trust them. My previous house was also from Lennar where we stayed 6 years and extremely satisfied customer of Lennar.

It started with a walk-through well before the house was ready, and multiple things not finished. I felt like the closing date was forced in order to get the sale in May. Still working on things that should have been done before the close. Even after multiple visits from the landscaper, yard is still in terrible condition.

At first it was good but after you sign and put money down, takes sales 2-3 days to call back even my realtor could not get a hold of him. The on line paperwork is a joke. The first walk thru was horrible water leaking in the wall and Lennar was just going to leave water in the wall and underneath the flooring. Paint not finished. Just got it fixed on the day of closing. Let’s talk about Lennar contractors damaged my A/C unit outside and when you send a service request in it’s poor response. Front door sagging. Closet door damaged kitchen cabinets coming apart over all just a bad experience . Will not buy a Lennar house again or will I recommend anyone else. I have learned in business that for every one bad it takes multiple goods to forget the bad , that is something Lennar needs to learn, because what Lennar advertised is not what happened ... More

The sells guy was awesome, still, the house was late, the rate was changed even if we had lock it, and the landscape job of the house is terrible.

It has been a great experience to receive help from Lennar from day 1. Is undeniable the loan officer, sales staff, and title staff are very well trained and kind to us, giving every minute a good treatment and searching for solutions every day.

Let's start with the workmanship and materials: zero stars. Lennar's work screams sloppy, rushed, and lacks attention to basic details. There were several parts of our home that were left half painted or unpainted. Places that we didn't notice during the final walk through because we had to hurry and get to the closing office. There were cracks around our door locks in which they tried to just paint over it instead of replacing the door. The electrical outlets and AC vents are all installed crooked. The AC in the upstairs rooms were not working. The caulking looked like a 2-year old did it. Just extremely sloppy and uneven in places that it should have been neat. Our ring doorbell camera was caulked and mounted to the door crooked. Within one month we had paint peeling from the back of the house, it literally looked like it was melting away. We have paint separating from the wall frames in the bathroom. All of this and we've only been here for one month. I'm so scared to think about what this house will look like in 5 years. They came to "fix" the paint that was coming off in the back of the house and all they did was paint over it. There's absolutely no primer anywhere, just paint on walls. Trustworthiness: zero stars. We trusted that we would be getting good quality work and we didn't. They simply just made it look presentable for closing day. Because here are three months later and we're constantly finding flaws that should have been acknowledged by the builders. Value for the price paid: zero stars. Responsiveness to issues: Allison would not let my realtor (who happens to be my sister in law) join in on the blue tape walk. That was the first red flag. Why wouldn't you let a first time homebuyer's advocated join in on the walk through? So my sister ended up coming in afterwards and making her own notes and checking for things that she knew Allison didn't check for, like toe kicks, messed up caulking, mismatched paint colors on the walls etc. When we gave the list to Allison and Matt, they pretty much disregarded it and only fixed what was on THEIR list of things to fix. The toe kicks were a mess by the way. Allison was working with us on our service requests, all I can say is I'm glad she isn't anymore. Thank God for Jose. Allison took forever to respond to emails and answer questions. Never answered the phone. She constantly asked for pictures of the problems as if we didn't already send them. I had a video call with one of the Lennar representatives to address some workmanship issues where he took pictures from his phone. A week later, Allison is asking us for the exact same pictures. Like, what were you all doing for an entire week besides not communicating with each other because you already have the pictures on file. For two weeks she was supposed to bring the paint coupon that they didn't give us when we got our keys, and she never brought it. Instead we got a message from Jose saying that he would be working with us going forward. I voiced my frustrations and concerns to him and he began working immediately. He brought the paint coupon which I had been begging for, and set up the painters, electrician, AC people, and FS Blinds to come to my house all within one week! He is simply amazing. Another person that left a bad taste in our mouths was Matt. Matt was the building manager or whatever he called himself. He spent too much time talking, and not enough time listening. There were multiple times we would be in the neighborhood checking on the progress of the house and he would just drive right by us as if he didn't see us. No slight wave, no "hey", or anything. It was clear that he didn't want to be bothered and that made us feel like we couldn't voice our concerns to him. He was super stand offish and not easy to talk to. We didn't even feel comfortable talking to him seeing the way he always avoided us. I'll never forget, two days before closing we went to look at the house. When we got there we saw Matt pulling off. Per usual, he didn't stop to speak, say hi, or see if we needed anything, just drove right off like we were invisible. We noticed that all of the doors to the house were locked. We called Matt to come open the door for us and he said that he was "too far" to turn around and come back. But we literally just saw him leave when we pulled up so we knew he was lying. At that moment, I knew I could never trust anything he said if he would lie about something like that. The only time Matt was nice to us was when we FIRST met him. Duh, because he didn't want to show his true colors right off the bat. We couldn't believe how he ignored us every time we saw him thereafter. But it is what it is. In conclusion, I wouldn't purchase another home from Lennar if they were selling it for $20. We were robbed of the excitement from our first home buying experience due to the rudeness and lack of knowledge from the Lennar representatives and for that, I am counting down the days until we can retry this whole process again with a more competent builder. ... Very bad all departments.

Long story short, I was told several times that an irrigation system would be provided since that was part of what Lennar promised upon the original sales pitch. Multiple people assured me this would be ok and they would take care of it. Then 3 weeks before closing I’m told I wouldn’t be getting it….. If you don’t like it you can get a refund and go elsewhere. Horrible customer service. How can you trust a company that doesn’t make good on their promises? So we ended a 5 year home search with Lennar in the fantastic neighborhood of the Falls at Green Meadows. Christy the Lennar realtor was fantastic, in fact if it wasn't for her, we would not have been here. The whole team from Lennar has been super, Liz the foreman, Jorge, the customer rep and all the people in the Mortgage Dept were superb !! Now I won't lie and not say that we didnt have some issues, but they are expected and Lennar is doing great in taking care of them. A wonderful Company and fantastic people !

Overall good experience and good builder

Denise was very easy to work with, her customer service is exceptional and she will go extra length to help and answer all questions. Will buy from Denise (sales manager) again and again.

First off , this was my first home and I was very excited . I began noticing workmanship problems throughout the building process with half done work . I noted several things like literally a slanted front door install, slanted kitchen window and framing . Leaking dinning room window, hole in stairs and carpet placed over . Those are just the things that presented before closing. I have been in my home now 8 weeks and recently discovered in the building process a giant nail was stabbed into a drain line in my laundry room which leaked for 8 weeks before it showed itself . I have had nothing but warranty request after warranty request since moving in . As soon as the housing market gets better I will be selling this lennar home and moving elsewhere with a better builder. ... More

It was very poor and difficult to get answers until the deadline, I felt like I was bothering them when I didn’t understand something.

Very straightforward home buying experience.

Level of quality is much lower than what I feel the value of what I paid.

The builder doesn’t care about Quality just quantity

I purchased my home 2 months ago and I fell in love but there were steps taken to make sure I would continue being happy in the home and those were not completed. Walkthrough items never touched and ignored and here we are 2 months later and I can not even operate master bedroom blinds from a walkthrough item unacceptable I work hard to make sure I could afford a nice new home.

Working with Lennar was a great experience, first of all the great quality of the house and the finishing used. They are fantastic !! Second and most important the warm attitude of the Lennar team was a key decision making for my and my family the whole process was really smooth and they guide me every step of the way... kudos for Lennar Team

Me and my friends are great fan of Lennar! But by buying experience was terrible!! I completely understand that pandemic has changed everyone's lives but shouldn't have impacted the buying experience. The sales team was rude, mortgage team was impatient and construction manager was contactless! Just that we need a house to stay close to friends, we have continued with the purchase if not would have quit.

Great experience all around…love my house!
