I had high expectations when buying from lennar been looking to buy lennar since 2019 i have seen multiple lennar south and west texas neighborhoods but when it came to buying our first home this year 2024 I was very disappointed in lennar, when we went through our inspection walk, our inspector Abdul was great and he helped us find a lot of issues and mistakes with the home, we felt very confident in him that these issues were gonna get resolved. Let's start with the workmanship and materials: zero stars. Lennar's work screams sloppy, rushed, and lacks attention to basic details. There were several parts of our home that were left half painted or unpainted. Places that we didn't notice during the final walk through because we had to hurry and get to the closing office. There were cracks around our door locks in which they tried to just paint over it instead of replacing the door. The electrical outlets and AC vents are all installed crooked. I absolutely love my home. The experience with Lennar Lenders was horrible to say the least. Communication was terrible and the constant arguing between my realtor and the lender was so unprofessional via email was just over the top. I ended up going with a different lending company and everything from that point on was AMAZING. I received daily updates and the lenders made sure to keep me informed via phone calls and emails. The incentives were even better. Do your research and remember you are important and also that you do not have to go through Lennar Lenders for incentives.

Poor communication during buying with sales finance and title people once we gave our Ernest money no one cared to talk anymore it seemed. The entire friend end process to buying a home with Lennar was a nightmare dealing with Sandra, Amanda and their manager during the process to get approved for a loan. Had to be some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Steve Renshaw was the one exception to a breath of fresh air with his knowledge and professionalism. The home itself looked great and the project manager Dan was great to deal with. Upon moving in we've noticed a few more hiccups here and there, but overall satisfied with the home and neighborhood. Bitter Sweet Experience

Bought a new home for my mother. Nice house but appraisal was far below the list price causing me to have to Mortgage insurance. The Mortgage company was horrible to deal with. Lied at every turn. Had to use an outside lender to get the deal done. Would never work with Lennar Mortgage company. Had a few cosmetic issues with the house that were fixed immediately.

The home purchase with our loan officer was great. The closing process was very disappointing. We were denied our keys after closing because of a $49.00 last minute fee by the title company. Never do business with Lennar again and will not recommend to my other investors.

I absolutely hated dealing with Lennar Mortgage, you kept checking my credit score which made it go lower in order to charge me a higher interest rate. Dealing with LM is like dealing with the devil. The worst experience I've had in many years.

Hire home inspection before closing

Lennar charge 2% of the sale price for not closing in time. If you live out of State, Making sure communicate directly to Title Dept that you need mobile closing. Dont trust the Sale agent. I paid $4800 for this matter. It was a trap!

Completing the purchase was very touchy, and communication was not the greatest. Now that we are in the home, we are having to move back out due to the flooring issues, and this has made me question the workmanship in other areas of the house. The Customer Sevice representative has been very helpful, but this process is still less than desirable and leaves doubts.

Building with Lennar was the absolute worst experience. The home was 5 months late. No ability to change or pick out anything. I call it the Walmart of new homes. You get what you pay for

First off , this was my first home and I was very excited . I began noticing workmanship problems throughout the building process with half done work . Poor workmanship and false promises

Some delays or changes in material were expected due to pandemic. However, there is clear evidence of laziness and negligence throughout the home. And Lennar's policy seems to be just paint/caulk over it and hope no one notices. Very little effort in lining up trim and moulding, windows installed off center and non-level, bumps forming in vinyl floor due to improper installation, sheetrock bulging/bowing in multiple areas (best they would do to fix it is shave it down and re-texture), exterior mortar all over bricks/driveway because they wouldn't clean up after themselves, paint stains on all ...

I have purchased 4 homes throughout my 42 years of life and this was by far the worst experience. The communication is poor when it comes to consistency amongst all parties involved. If I had 8,000 to waste, I would have walked away from this home just based on Lennar staff. The organization was poor, timelines felt unorganized and pressured. The quality is not the best. I will not be recommending lennar to anyone. The experience of buying a new hour was ruined by Leeca and John B. I was appalled at the way they treated and talked to me throughout the whole process. It was bad. My realtor is not even taking clients to lennar anymore.

Sales Person and Warranty Rep were good and professional. Overall it was a mediocre to poor experience. I think Lennar's extremely inflexible polices along with their "anything to gouge out a buck" corporate greed mentality make it hard to rate it a good or great experience.

This was my first home purchase, and I’m disappointed that it hasn’t been the exciting milestone I imagined. The contract and application process felt rushed and poorly explained, and the closing experience was overwhelming and rushed. Since moving in, I’ve noticed numerous issues that suggest the builder cut corners, and the overall quality of the home doesn’t reflect the high cost I paid. It feels like I’m overpaying for something that wasn’t built to last. While this is meant to be my starter home, I will never trust Lennar Builders again.

There was no hot water when we moved in, the washing machine didn't work. The dryer was tripping the breaker, which needed to be replaced. The front door entrance was poorly designed, causing you to get drenched from rain, making it virtually impassible. We requested several times for the front door area to be power washed from excessive dust, it never happened! Stay on top of Lennar for these types of things. That said, they did respond fairly quickly to address most issues. We will have to come out of pocket to fix the rain/front door issue.
