First off , this was my first home and I was very excited . I began noticing workmanship problems throughout the building process with half done work . I noted several things like literally a slanted front door install, slanted kitchen window and framing . Leaking dinning room window, hole in stairs and carpet placed over . Those are just the things that presented before closing. I have been in my home now 8 weeks and recently discovered in the building process a giant nail was stabbed into a drain line in my laundry room which leaked for 8 weeks before it showed itself . Poor workmanship and false promises

Some delays or changes in material were expected due to pandemic. However, there is clear evidence of laziness and negligence throughout the home. And Lennar's policy seems to be just paint/caulk over it and hope no one notices. Very little effort in lining up trim and moulding, windows installed off center and non-level, bumps forming in vinyl floor due to improper installation, sheetrock bulging/bowing in multiple areas (best they would do to fix it is shave it down and re-texture), exterior mortar all over bricks/driveway because they wouldn't clean up after themselves, paint stains on all ...

Things pointed out on walkthrough were not fixed. Payment is 25 % more than quoted at closing, fencing had to be redone by myself and 3 neighbors.

I have purchased 4 homes throughout my 42 years of life and this was by far the worst experience. The communication is poor when it comes to consistency amongst all parties involved. If I had 8,000 to waste, I would have walked away from this home just based on Lennar staff. The organization was poor, timelines felt unorganized and pressured. The quality is not the best. I can hear everything that goes on outside and next door. They don't even provide window treatment for the many windows in the home. I will not be recommending lennar to anyone. The experience of buying a new hour was ruined by Leeca and John B. I was appalled at the way they treated and talked to me throughout the whole process. It was bad. My realtor is not even taking clients to lennar anymore.

Sales Person and Warranty Rep were good and professional. Overall it was a mediocre to poor experience. I think Lennar's extremely inflexible polices along with their "anything to gouge out a buck" corporate greed mentality make it hard to rate it a good or great experience.

Rushed experience poor quality…

This was my first home purchase, and I’m disappointed that it hasn’t been the exciting milestone I imagined. The contract and application process felt rushed and poorly explained, and the closing experience was overwhelming and rushed. Since moving in, I’ve noticed numerous issues that suggest the builder cut corners, and the overall quality of the home doesn’t reflect the high cost I paid. It feels like I’m overpaying for something that wasn’t built to last. While this is meant to be my starter home, I will never trust Lennar Builders again.

There was no hot water when we moved in, the washing machine didn't work. The dryer was tripping the breaker, which needed to be replaced. The front door entrance was poorly designed, causing you to get drenched from rain, making it virtually impassible. We requested several times for the front door area to be power washed from excessive dust, it never happened! Stay on top of Lennar for these types of things. That said, they did respond fairly quickly to address most issues. We will have to come out of pocket to fix the rain/front door issue.

Emphasis more on getting the contract signed without proper inspection and taking responsibilities for resolving client's issues. My property had a number of poor finishes and uncompleted snag list of items. This was left for me to arrange post move-in. In addition, I had electrical issues which I was not adequately supported for resolution even though this was a know issue according to the electrical engineer who later fixed the issue. I still have issues to be resolved once I have time to organize it. My experience was a terrible one and would not like it to be repeated.

Brandy was a horrible sales person. Customer service was horrible they would talk over you make you feel like you’re dumb when it came to paperwork When I closed on my house the landscaping was horrible. I couldn’t even take a picture because it looked so bad. On my final walk we were told they would replace the whole thing. I would never buy a Lennar home again

The mortgage and title company were both an absolute nightmare to work with, horrible communication, not disclosing things properly, and the layout of how things were going to work, were not at all in the order/flow. Been waiting on someone to come and fill up the utilities trench that sunk after a little rain. There's a big hole that stretches all along my back fence where utilities run. Cuts Corners / One Problem After Another

Balmoral is a very nice community. However, if buying from Lennar there are things a person should be aware of/pay attention to small details…such as in most Lennar homes they install one extremely small sink in the Master Bedroom. There are no gutters on the Lennar homes in our sub-development and we had to pay for after market gutter installation. The wooden fence installed is of poor quality with many holes and/or damage planks. Also, Lennar advertises the garage can fit large trucks…this is not a true statement.
