Brandy was a horrible sales person. Customer service was horrible they would talk over you make you feel like you’re dumb when it came to paperwork When I closed on my house the landscaping was horrible. I couldn’t even take a picture because it looked so bad. On my final walk we were told they would replace the whole thing. I would never buy a Lennar home again

Lennar responded:
Hi Kassandra, we are truly sorry for the experience you went through with sales and customer service. We also want to apologize for the landscaping issues that you faced when you closed on your home. Please reach out to us if you need anything else with your home. -Lennar Customer Care

Mortgage and title experience was an absolute nightmare, Builder side has been pretty good

The mortgage and title company were both an absolute nightmare to work with, horrible communication, not disclosing things properly, and the layout of how things were going to work, were not at all in the order/flow. Everything was very confusing. This was the worst new home process I have ever seen. The new home concierge that we were told to contact never responded to emails. Mystic is the warranty rep, she has been awesome in following up and staying on top of items needed to be fixed (there has been a lot.) If I had only dealt with Mystic, would get 5 stars. We still have some ...

Been waiting on someone to come and fill up the utilities trench that sunk after a little rain. There's a big hole that stretches all along my back fence where utilities run. I was told they were going to come and fill it and so far nothing. I've been living here since January 25th.. The cheap floor planks are peeling off the floor also.. Osciel T.

Balmoral is a very nice community. However, if buying from Lennar there are things a person should be aware of/pay attention to small details…such as in most Lennar homes they install one extremely small sink in the Master Bedroom. There are no gutters on the Lennar homes in our sub-development and we had to pay for after market gutter installation. The wooden fence installed is of poor quality with many holes and/or damage planks. Also, Lennar advertises the garage can fit large trucks…this is not a true statement. The garage can only fit cars and possibly a small ...

This wasn’t the experience I was expecting as a first time home buyer. So truly, as a first time buyer, it’s disappointing. The only good thing about it all was working with the salesperson. Amanda was friendly and responsive. However, a rocky start with the lender as she was completely unresponsive. It took a couple weeks before I was told she wasn’t with the company and had to begin over with someone new. So overall, wouldn’t recommend. It felt rushed and when final walk through date arrived, it felt deceiving because I was told some issues that the home inspector found on his report had ...

Meh they are mediocre builders at best you can definitely tell where tasks have been rushed, also they will blatantly lie to your face than rather look up and get the correct information you seek, just to make a sale.

Lennar builds homes very quickly and is more than willing to put out fires for the time they are required after the build than to do a quality job and hold their contractors to a higher standard. These homes could be so beautiful as they do use quality materials but everything is so rushed and sloppy. We were also pushed into using a "trusted" lender which was a nightmare. The numbers were wrong several times to the point that the mobile notary that was at our house in a different state refused to notarize the closing paperwork. Our sales agent from Lennar was nice but made promises the ...

I bought my house at the highest value and two months later I see other houses that look exactly like mine decrease by almost 20k. I understand it’s all about the market but that was drastic. The craftsmanship is ok but I notice the very small details that aren’t up to par. None of the air vent squares are straight and are slanted awkwardly. The sprinklers don’t work and I already called to put in an order and it was very bad customer service. The paint is chipped in some places. The layout is horrible. Yes it’s updated counters but the counters are so small it’s quite pointless. The driveway ...

This is my third Lennar home, and to be honest, if it weren’t for my commitment to the Next Gen model, I wouldn’t have purchased from Lennar again. The lack of customization options and the smaller yard compared to my previous homes have been quite disappointing. I’ve also experienced several warranty issues. While they are typically resolved quickly, the quality of the repairs seems to have declined in recent years. Additionally, my assigned sales representative has been unresponsive, and it’s been nearly two months since I moved in, and I still haven’t received a mailbox key which is ...

This was a horrible home purchase experience. It was hard to get a person to call you back. We had to do a virtual closing and it was awful, the first person we called at the Virtual Closing hung up on use when we didn't get connected fast enough. Then we had to find someone at Lennar who could tell how to get back into the Que since this was already paid for by Lennar. We couldn't ask any questions because it was just the notary on the call. Horrible. After we got moved in our air conditioner did not cool! Lennar has you scan a code if you have any problems and that called us back to help ...

It's a good community when you build your house try to keep the engineers who they are when you move them around there are a lot of differences in the construction of the house so there is a lot of irresponsible behavior from your engineers and to this day I still haven't got the key to my garage door key missing. Also I didn't get any painting code or color code for the inner wall. You didn't give this at the time of closing. You engineers don't know. After asking, they showed me with open arms. So I can't even go to the paint shop and get a sample of it. When you made the concrete base, it ...

John did not take my third party inspection report seriously. He brushed everything off and basically told me that this was not going to be a "perfect" house. Even for a new build, this house had a ridiculous number of imperfections and I was rushed into closing. Even after moving in, I have submitted over 4 warranty claims, and the Lennar representative just tells me that everything is not covered. I have a garage door that doesn't close, an A/C unit with a bad filter after less that 60-days of move in, and so many more issues. The sales person for my home was horrible. Had no clue what she was doing. Numbers were all over the place every single day. The mortgage and title people were nice though. But, no one ever gave me the exact breakdown of how much my payments were. Totally unacceptable. In fact, I am probably going to sell my house.

Still am very unsettled about coming in to buy home that was advertised with a red slash through it and advertised as reduced price. Went in on last day unexpectedly when I got email on home sale. Went by address and walked around. I wanted it no matter what. I was told I had to pay full price and was given 2 different reasons that I can't remember why I could NOT have sale price advertised. One of those reasons was: I had to pay cash? So I had to pay full price. Why was my Representative paid commission on base price of home? I was told I had to purchase at full price. Lennar Homes are not worth the money. Poorly built, plumbing not up to code, electrical issues and appliances not installed correctly. Home didn't even come with a garage door opener. 3 service requests in regards to AC not cooling, dryer outlet not working (circuit in breaker had to be replaced), water leaking under front and back doors, installed appliances not working, and unable to transfer utility to own name due to water-test not yet performed by builder and water company; and it's only been 2 months since closing.

The home was supposed to be fully wired for alarm service only two windows out of six were properly wired. Workmanship and quality of product wasn’t up to par. Low grade windows only the bottom tilts in for for cleaning. And the windows had a lot of silicone around the frame Leaking out very sloppy work . From the paint to the caulking and seals very hastily done and not properly done . The workers spilled glue on the floor still trying to get that all off. We purchased a new build Lennar home. We loved the layout of the house and the community is just what we were looking for. So, put up with the months of construction delays (never being informed properly about the progress) which forced us to live in an AirBnB for two months. We moved into a very dirty and unfinished house, It was not cleaned well after construction and all the issues we have raised beforehand were not addressed . Lennar is a very basic home builder whose quality comes in on the lower end for workmanship and materials. They invest heavily in "quality control" and "customer care" that is mostly a facade. That money would be better directed at increasing the quality of labor and adding a few basics like towel bars and shower curtain rods that they cut corners on. If they would adopt a "done right the first time" they would not need an entire multi-level team of "quality control" and "customer care" reps who are little more than dispatchers taught to placate homeowners with words but deliver little in ...
