I absolutely love my home. The experience with Lennar Lenders was horrible to say the least. Communication was terrible and the constant arguing between my realtor and the lender was so unprofessional via email was just over the top. I ended up going with a different lending company and everything from that point on was AMAZING. I received daily updates and the lenders made sure to keep me informed via phone calls and emails. The incentives were even better. Do your research and remember you are important and also that you do not have to go through Lennar Lenders for incentives.

Lennar responded:
Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Creshaun. We are delighted to hear that you love your new home. However, we sincerely apologize for the challenges you faced with Lennar Lenders. We understand how important clear communication and professionalism are during the home-buying ...

Poor communication during buying with sales finance and title people once we gave our Ernest money no one cared to talk anymore it seemed. I had to call and chase people down to get updates and answers and didn’t get that first time home buyer experience pretty much left in the dark till the day we closed and it was all about two minutes of here’s your keys congrats bye But anything after the home buying experience has been great if we have had any issue our ccr has been awesome he stays on top of things and stays in contact with us to give any updates available great customer service on ...

Lennar charge 2% of the sale price for not closing in time. If you live out of State, Making sure communicate directly to Title Dept that you need mobile closing. Dont trust the Sale agent. I paid $4800 for this matter. It was a trap!

Lennar responded:
Thank you for your feedback—it’s never easy to hear we’ve fallen short, but it’s important. We’re sorry for the frustration this has caused and hope that as you continue settling into your home, we’ll have the opportunity to provide the support and service you deserve.

Bought a new home for my mother. Nice house but appraisal was far below the list price causing me to have to Mortgage insurance. The Mortgage company was horrible to deal with. Lied at every turn. Had to use an outside lender to get the deal done. Would never work with Lennar Mortgage company. Had a few cosmetic issues with the house that were fixed immediately.

Lennar responded:
Good afternoon James, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re sorry to hear that the mortgage process did not go smoothly. We sincerely hope to earn back your trust by delivering an exceptional customer care experience moving forward.

The home purchase with our loan officer was great. The closing process was very disappointing. We were denied our keys after closing because of a $49.00 last minute fee by the title company. Never do business with Lennar again and will not recommend to my other investors.

Lennar responded:
Good afternoon Glen,

We thank you for sharing your feedback and sincerely apologize for the negative experience you encountered at closing, particularly the issue with the last-minute fee and the delivery of your keys. I have shared your comments with upper management for their review.

The entire friend end process to buying a home with Lennar was a nightmare dealing with Sandra, Amanda and their manager during the process to get approved for a loan. Had to be some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Steve Renshaw was the one exception to a breath of fresh air with his knowledge and professionalism. The home itself looked great and the project manager Dan was great to deal with. Upon moving in we've noticed a few more hiccups here and there, but overall satisfied with the home and neighborhood. They respond quickly to necessary repairs or maintenance

I purchased a built inventory home, even with paying an independent inspector after move in, the quality of many of the items used in building is so disappointing this is the fifth home I have built purchased new and I have never had so many issues after move in from the cheapest of the cheap flooring to the flat white paint that even with the paint codes Sherwin Williams cannot match - so disappointed

This was my first home purchase, and I’m disappointed that it hasn’t been the exciting milestone I imagined. The contract and application process felt rushed and poorly explained, and the closing experience was overwhelming and rushed. Since moving in, I’ve noticed numerous issues that suggest the builder cut corners, and the overall quality of the home doesn’t reflect the high cost I paid. It feels like I’m overpaying for something that wasn’t built to last. While this is meant to be my starter home, I will never trust Lennar Builders again.

Lennar responded:
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We're sorry to hear that things didn’t go as expected, and we understand how frustrating that can be. There was no hot water when we moved in, the washing machine didn't work. The dryer was tripping the breaker, which needed to be replaced. The front door entrance was poorly designed, causing you to get drenched from rain, making it virtually impassible. We requested several times for the front door area to be power washed from excessive dust, it never happened! Stay on top of Lennar for these types of things. That said, they did respond fairly quickly to address most issues. We will have to come out of pocket to fix the rain/front door issue.

Lennar responded:
Thank you James for bringing this to our attention through your review. We're sorry your experience didn’t meet the standard we aim to uphold. If there are any remaining concerns, please contact us at CorporateCustomerCare@Lennar.com so we can address them directly. We hope to have the opportunity to regain your trust.

Extremely Disappointed with Lennar – Unorganized, Misleading, and Frustrating Experience: My home buying experience with Lennar has been nothing short of disappointing. From the start, I encountered numerous inefficiencies, misinformation, and poor communication—and unfortunately, these are just a few examples among many. 1. Incompetent Lending Process: Lennar outsources its underwriting process to a foreign country, which caused serious delays and inefficiencies. The loan officer provided confusing and inconsistent instructions regarding debt payoff in order to qualify. I was told to ...

Emphasis more on getting the contract signed without proper inspection and taking responsibilities for resolving client's issues. My property had a number of poor finishes and uncompleted snag list of items. This was left for me to arrange post move-in. In addition, I had electrical issues which I was not adequately supported for resolution even though this was a know issue according to the electrical engineer who later fixed the issue. I still have issues to be resolved once I have time to organize it. My experience was a terrible one and would not like it to be repeated.

This is my third Lennar home, and to be honest, if it weren’t for my commitment to the Next Gen model, I wouldn’t have purchased from Lennar again. The lack of customization options and the smaller yard compared to my previous homes have been quite disappointing. I’ve also experienced several warranty issues. This was a horrible home purchase experience. It was hard to get a person to call you back. We had to do a virtual closing and it was awful, the first person we called at the Virtual Closing hung up on use when we didn't get connected fast enough. Then we had to find someone at Lennar who could tell how to get back into the Que since this was already paid for by Lennar. We couldn't ask any questions because it was just the notary on the call. I have always thought highly of Lennar until now. The purchasing experience was very stressful and the whole process was disconnected. The sale agent, Trisha was very unprofessional and stopped all communication with me after I signed the contract to purchase the home. It's a good community when you build your house try to keep the engineers who they are when you move them around there are a lot of differences in the construction of the house so there is a lot of irresponsible behavior from your engineers and to this day I still haven't got the key to my garage door key missing. Also I didn't get any painting code or color code for the inner wall. You didn't give this at the time of closing. You engineers don't know. After asking, they showed me with open arms. John did not take my third party inspection report seriously. He brushed everything off and basically told me that this was not going to be a "perfect" house. Even for a new build, this house had a ridiculous number of imperfections and I was rushed into closing. Even after moving in, I have submitted over 4 warranty claims, and the Lennar representative just tells me that everything is not covered.
