Extremely rude and arrogant management

I tried to change my closing date because my bank CD was maturing three weeks after the tentative closing date. I have purchased 3 Lennar houses before and never had any closing date issues and after purchasing this house it was an investment of almost $1000000.00 on Lennar houses. The answer I received from upper management was discourteous: “We DON'T move dates!” you should not talk to your loyal customers in this tone (extremely unprofessional).

Beware of continued delays and closing issues. Make sure to double and triple check all fine details before and ON closing final walk-throughs. Non-chalant attitude and attitude of ingratitude.

Poor Customer Service

My buyer experience was something to be desired. I have purchased several homes from Lennar without any significant problems. They were not prepared to provide service from financing, closing and move in. If you. Had a question regarding anything, there was either no response or you had to go through numerous people. The did not know the correct post office to establish mail delivery. We were very disappointed. No one was in charge of this new community. This was not a good experience.

My honest opinion I would NOT buy with LENNAR

From the very start I had issues with the loan officer not being proactive and responding to messages in a timely manner. The day of closing my name was not spelled correctly in the title/documents. I have been in the home and there is something going on with the plumbing where the toilet does not flush properly. There were also missed parts that were not painted by the time I closed on home. Our sales agent lied about mortgage rate multiple times and then lied she never stated she had given us such a quote. I, the presence of my real estate agent, had repeated the quote several times back to her prior to shaking hands on the deal. She even had called a supervisor regarding our offer in front of us. She then stated it had been approved. When we had the contract a few hours later we were shocked to find the rate a point higher. Roaches!!!!! Broken oven.

My home is brand new! You did not treat for roaches spiders. You left my front door open over night and I am still dealing with all the bugs in my house. Simple mistakes lead to big problems

The sales associates filled out our contracts incorrectly with simple mistakes and would not correct them when they were pointed out. Example incorrect contact information. They along with the mortgage team gave us understated estimates due to interest rates that did not match the offered interest rates. This was also not corrected when it was pointed out. The buying experience was terrible and the house has already had to get the air conditioner unit replaced. The air is CONSTANTLY messing up. The tile in the shower looks like it’s been done by someone who didn’t know what they were doing. Never again.

It started with a walk-through well before the house was ready, and multiple things not finished. I felt like the closing date was forced in order to get the sale in May. Still working on things that should have been done before the close. Even after multiple visits from the landscaper, yard is still in terrible condition.

Lennar touts its next gen line of homes. The design is good but the construction process and closing process are poor. There needs to be more supervision and follow up on the Project Manager. They rush to close but provide homes that are incomplete and have to go through a tedious exception process through a customer care coordinator to complete repairs after close who is not quick on following up and coordinating issues. Bad buying experiences with Lennar

Have bad experiences with Lennar’s title and sale agent. They tried to tell us wire the money before the closing date which is understandable. However, the final walk through date is AFTER the closing date. I voiced the concern without any answer. On Lennar track, they are no where ready for closing. I have been in this building for a month and we have an electrical issues with the breaker since the beginning of the closing. They have already changed the breakers 2 times and it has not solved the issue there is still a problem. It hasn't been a month, we have a leak in the sprinkle system which caused us to have a large amount in the water bill. We also just had a problem in the floor lamination. This really frustrates me to the point where I have to fill up a different warranty claim for a different problem every single week.

Terrible workmanship and material, horrible sales experience

They cut corners on everything. Material, especially doors are incredibly cheap. The new house even looks like it's been lived in by other people for months. It's was dirty with lots of scratches when we took possession. We have all the photographs for evidence. The salespeople were tricky, sneaky, unwilling to help, and don't return calls most of the time. About the only tiny bright spot are the warranty/Lennar Care people who help address issues with the house. And there were tons of issues, probably more than 2 dozens. Will try to avoid Lennar in the future at all costs.

My sales associate was not very knowledgeable abt the questions I had and he was easily offended. The lender scrutinized our accounts and disqualified the money we had to bring to closing. The house's workmanship and materials seems well built but lacking some very important features that leave a big impression like no sprinkler system, no garage door opener, no covered back porch, no fans in any room, dining area too small for a dining table, living room too narrow, and grass is dying. Our plan is to sell as soon as possible and get into something better suited for our family.

Home buying process felt rushed, our realtor also stated we would receive 2 ceiling fans which were never given. Was told we needed to sign a contract that very same day or else the interest rate and pricing of the home would increase the following day. My experience was horrible since we felt were forced to sign on a house that wasnt to our liking. I had a better experience with KB homes then Lennar. I expected more from Lennar since theyre "BETTER" then KB homes but my experience with KB was excellent compared to Lennar. My home feels like it was slapped together just for us to sign and move in.
