Buying a Lennar home was the best choice!!

Great experience purchasing a home

Trusted people and excellent customer service. Nice house and wonderful design, Especially the trinity plan.

Basically, I really like the layout of the house. Very well insulated. Electric bill has yet to be $100.00.

High-quality construction, lots of add ons Ring, Smart thermostats, Windows shades, fans, garage and light fixtures came with our house, beautifully planned with great attention to detail. We are amazed at how fast Lennar build the house even with the bad weather. Other service people who have come for other odd jobs always comment on how solidly the house is built. The Lennar staff is extremely responsive and easy to work with. Overall, we would defiantly recommend Lennar to our family and friends.

It was an ok buying experience. Everyone always has closing problems!!!

Since moving into my home , there’s been some concerns that occurred from what I believe to be a rushed job and therefore affected the quality of the house

Our hone buying experience was complicated from the beginning. We signed when Lennar was offering “smart home” packages. When we moved in and saw that we were missing the package, the rep told us they discontinued the package. He did however give us a gift card to purchase the ring doorbell and items we could install ourselves. The day we moved in was a mess. The house wasn’t ready even though we had done a private home inspection and done the walk thru with the Lennar rep. We waited at the Lennar corporate office for several hours because they had overbooked themselves on the closing day. We never even met the title guy or anyone we did our original paperwork with. The person who walked us through the closing documents told us she was only a notary and couldn’t answer any of our questions, which is why we opted for the in person closing in the first place. When we showed up for closing they still had no idea how much money we needed to bring with us so we ended up over paying and having to get a refund for the over payment. After closing we went back to the sales office and the rep couldn’t find our keys. We had to wait while the construction manager drive back from his house with them. After all that it was finally time to move in. We showed up bright and early with a moving company the next day, only to find out that half of our house didn’t have electricity. Several back and forth calls between Centerpoint, Lennar’s electric company, and the builder after a few days we finally had the repairs completed. We have had the “trades” come back to our house about a dozen times to make small repairs. Lennar’s customer service people are great but scheduling and actually getting the contractors out is a huge headache each time. They are no call no shows or show up at completely different days/times without regard to our personal lives. We are first time homeboys so we had no idea what to expect when we started this but after speaking to friends and family who purchased new homes from other builders, it seems like we may have made a bad decision choosing Lennar. We love our house but the actual construction and closing has been a nightmare. I really do enjoy my home, but I have issue with the completed work. There were a bunch of small things that seemed rushed when we moved in. The walls seem thin and let in a good amount of noise. Overall though, I am very pleased with my home.

The sales department was amazing. The mortgage department is lacking at best.

The best part of the experience was moving in to my new home. the home has lots of amenities. things I didn’t even think of and I’ve been planning on a home for years I appreciate there attention to detail

If you are buying a home from Lennar, just know that there might be better options and more expensive. I like the house, the only thing right now is that we’ve asked to come and repair a couple of issues and we haven’t gotten a response back… it’s been about two months since we put the request and nothing.

It was a very smooth process that I had thought before the construction was started. The construction manager was willing to listen each and every request we had and had tried his best to complete them. The sales team was very helpful in getting lot booked and they also allowed to change our decision for a couple of times. In last the customer service team had done great job in accommodating requested rime for the inspection and allowed us extra time for the final walk.

Lennar has succeeded at making my first home buying experience terrible in so many ways. Closed Jan 19th and still have floors popping up all over house. Got huge runaround by flooring company. Now I have to be displaced from my home for 3 days and pray things are actually done correctly this time.

i’ve had way to many issues with Lennar. so many broken undone things in the home. customer service representative is not helpful, def wouldn’t recommend lennar.

Happy to have found Lennar built home, very happy with decision.

Great experience buying from Lennar

We moved in on January 23,2021 and on the 24th we had a major flood in the main bathroom. The water when under the sink and out into the hallway and hallway closet and underneath the wall into the living room. We immediately notified Robin, she came out and looked at the damage and said she would replace everything that was water damaged. That was January 25, 2021. As of today May 25, 2021 nothing and I mean nothing has been done. The baseboards moved away from the wall and I am worried about mold in the walls. I would like to have this fixed ASAP..

From beginning to end our experience with Lennar has been stellar. Our home is gorgeous and the Lennar team is quick to fix any issues we have.

I like Lennar because, they are a one stop shop.

I’ve never purchased a new home before, so this was a new experience for me. Overall, everything went smoothly and we love the community that’s evolving. We are having issues with the installed yard drains (they’re not French drains) and incompatible grading, so familiarize yourself with the warranty and ticketing system. Overall, I would consider buying a Lennar home again.

My advice to new home owners is to read the fine lines of the contract as well as have it independently evaluated. Home was contracted to be delivered in December and did not receive until January therefore delayed in homestead and could not qualify for homestead until 2022. Also had to have pods for furniture storage that cost additional storing expenses as well as labor expenses. Being a first time home owner from out of state found that lot of things were not done properly. Floors were of poor quality. Never have a vinyl floor installed as it is extremely difficult to clean and never given an option to chose the floor; No towel rack in master shower room or medicine cabinets in any bathroom or safety grab bar either. shower pan in master bedroom does not drain properly as it has to be squeegeed as pool of water retains, lawns are not properly sod as there is a lot of uneven ground; even the valves do not drain properly and had to be fixed. My suggestion is to have a good experienced quality check done by the builder and not get brushed off by their coordinators for the area as they don't like to do and that makes home owners not happy. Builders do try to get things done but unfortunately it is not handled to home owners satisfaction. Too early to tell about the quality as time will tell. ... More
