Lennar builds homes very quickly and is more than willing to put out fires for the time they are required after the build than to do a quality job and hold their contractors to a higher standard. These homes could be so beautiful as they do use quality materials but everything is so rushed and sloppy. We were also pushed into using a "trusted" lender which was a nightmare. The numbers were wrong several times to the point that the mobile notary that was at our house in a different state refused to notarize the closing paperwork. Our sales agent from Lennar was nice but made promises the company did not keep. The sod is haphazardly thrown down and looks terrible. I will never buy another Lennar home and will never recommend them. I hope you have found this review helpful. The team of people that answered / responded to any questions or concerns I had. The entire process was easy, smooth and enjoyable.

During the underwriting process you should take control and hold them accountable for timely communication. It will go smooth if you stay on top and understand what the next is.

Jessica and Ryan were great. Got us where we needed to be and why. Smooth dealing with both and both were very responsive. The price I ended up paying for the house is a lot more than what the value of the house should actually be. This is not due to Jessica or Ryan’s work but in general. Almost priced us out of the market.

House was not closed on time as promised and I have to pay additional appraisal money .The customer team is awesome. Initial walk was great and everything was explained in detail .After closing of the house there were some issues that were resolved in timely fashion. Over all experience with Lennar was good !!!!

Lennar was there to help every step of the way with any questions I had and even now any issues with my house by using the portal they have been taken care of right away.

The sales lady went above and beyond to ensure our contract went through.Very patient helpful and was with us every step of the way

The home buying was terrific l really liked the budget school video, before our closing date.

The quality of work would’ve gotten 5 stars if my flooring wasn’t awful. We had our final walk thru/move in on March 30 2021 and when doing the final walk thru everyone agreed the flooring was horrible. We marked it with tape and were guaranteed they would take care of this for us that same week. I even took 2 weeks PTO so I could be home and not delay the work… It’s been 4 months and my flooring has only gotten worst and we still have areas with tape that were never fixed. I’ve requested service numerous times only to have a Lennar Rep either do a virtual call and agree the work is bad or have someone come out to take pictures of my floor. They’ve came out about 4 different times only to tell me “I will take pictures and open a case for you.” This is ridiculous, at this point I feel you guys are avoiding the situation until the warranty is over. Which is what happen with the plants, the day of the final walk thru Lennar Rep. agreed the plants weren’t the best and verbally agreed to have landscaping come and replace the ugly plants ya gave us with nicer looking plants. (We are the only house with these hideous plants) But as soon as we signed and I called the very next day to get something scheduled ya turned me down saying we can’t do anything about them. Which is just wrong considering I had the Lennar Customer Service Rep & Construction Manager both on site telling me it would be taken care of that same week. The only other issue I have was the loan estimates were terribly off. The first estimate I received said we would be paying approx. $1600 monthly then I got one saying $1800 monthly and the final real deal closing ended up at $2300 monthly that’s a 43% increase from the original estimate. ... Trusted people and excellent customer service. Nice house and wonderful design, Especially the trinity plan.

Basically, I really like the layout of the house. Very well insulated. Electric bill has yet to be $100.00.

High-quality construction, lots of add ons Ring, Smart thermostats, Windows shades, fans, garage and light fixtures came with our house, beautifully planned with great attention to detail. We are amazed at how fast Lennar build the house even with the bad weather. Other service people who have come for other odd jobs always comment on how solidly the house is built. The Lennar staff is extremely responsive and easy to work with. Overall, we would defiantly recommend Lennar to our family and friends.

Since moving into my home , there’s been some concerns that occurred from what I believe to be a rushed job and therefore affected the quality of the house

Our hone buying experience was complicated from the beginning. We signed when Lennar was offering “smart home” packages. When we moved in and saw that we were missing the package, the rep told us they discontinued the package. He did however give us a gift card to purchase the ring doorbell and items we could install ourselves. The day we moved in was a mess. The house wasn’t ready even though we had done a private home inspection and done the walk thru with the Lennar rep. We waited at the Lennar corporate office for several hours because they had overbooked themselves on the closing day. We never even met the title guy or anyone we did our original paperwork with. The person who walked us through the closing documents told us she was only a notary and couldn’t answer any of our questions, which is why we opted for the in person closing in the first place. When we showed up for closing they still had no idea how much money we needed to bring with us so we ended up over paying and having to get a refund for the over payment. After closing we went back to the sales office and the rep couldn’t find our keys. We had to wait while the construction manager drive back from his house with them. After all that it was finally time to move in. We showed up bright and early with a moving company the next day, only to find out that half of our house didn’t have electricity. Several back and forth calls between Centerpoint, Lennar’s electric company, and the builder after a few days we finally had the repairs completed. We have had the “trades” come back to our house about a dozen times to make small repairs. Lennar’s customer service people are great but scheduling and actually getting the contractors out is a huge headache each time. They are no call no shows or show up at completely different days/times without regard to our personal lives. We are first time homeboys so we had no idea what to expect when we started this but after speaking to friends and family who purchased new homes from other builders, it seems like we may have made a bad decision choosing Lennar. We love our house but the actual construction and closing has been a nightmare. One positive thing was that Lennar addressed the issue with the builder and fired the construction manager that overlooked our home. Too bad it was AFTER us. ... More

I really do enjoy my home, but I have issue with the completed work. There were a bunch of small things that seemed rushed when we moved in. The walls seem thin and let in a good amount of noise. Overall though, I am very pleased with my home.
