There was no hot water when we moved in, the washing machine didn't work. The dryer was tripping the breaker, which needed to be replaced. The front door entrance was poorly designed, causing you to get drenched from rain, making it virtually impassible. We requested several times for the front door area to be power washed from excessive dust, it never happened! Stay on top of Lennar for these types of things. That said, they did respond fairly quickly to address most issues. We will have to come out of pocket to fix the rain/front door issue.

Dealing with our sales person Jenna was good. Dealing with the QC person Lauren, bad experience, unprofessional and couldn’t care less. Dealing with construction manager Brian, wasted time, bad experience. Dealing with Lennar Mortgage Shana /Kara, worst experience, poor communication, unprofessional. Dealing with Lennar Title Hayley and team, good experience. Dealing with repair team / warranty / repair request, total failure. Love the location, love the house. The Lennar experience, would not do it again.

I would like you share my honest opinion here. We moved from other city and it was like 5 hours drive from there to here in Katy TX. I saw my house when I almost bought it. The1st big shock that I received by this house was the door of bathrooms that are NOT wheelchair accessible with a special need child it is so hard that no body can imagine. Kitchen pantry and closets are so small though we have plenty of rooms in the house lennar needs to find some better builders in this regard or people who make maps of the houses. If you want to buy from Lennar please check thoroughly everything.

Overall, I had a good experience with Lennar. However, I felt like I was just a number. This was also my first time ever purchasing a home. So nothing felt personable or anything. Because Lennar is such a large builder and they have so many clients, I felt like a a dollar sign to them. From the beginning I said I did not wish to do things electronically but was forced into it. I had high hopes when purchasing my home through Lennar, but unfortunately, my experience has been riddled with frustration and disappointment. Before closing, I hired a professional home inspector who uncovered a laundry list of issues—bad masonry work, sloppy and frankly comical electrical wiring, fencing that lacked proper nails and support, and concerning plumbing flaws, particularly with the water heater. Started out as a good experience, then lost our lead Lennar rep during our purchase, either quit or lost his job. Some disorganization during closing, excused. Website and paperwork still has items that are not discussed with Lennar reps like access points and door locks, so I guess update that? Materials used are low quality, I get it, you have to make money. Just pay attention to your build. The house was left extremely dirty between my final walkthrough and closing. There were many corrections that need to be made even after pointing them out at the walkthrough. The house seems to be very cheaply made. I have lived in the house for a month and my fence is already falling apart. For a brand new build you would expect a higher quality product. The Lennar team also schedules all of your appointments before checking your availability which is extremely frustrating and leads to longer wait times.

Bought a new home for my mother. Nice house but appraisal was far below the list price causing me to have to Mortgage insurance. The Mortgage company was horrible to deal with. Lied at every turn. Had to use an outside lender to get the deal done. Would never work with Lennar Mortgage company. Had a few cosmetic issues with the house that were fixed immediately.
