This is my first home and I chose Lennar, but I will NEVER choose them again. My home buying experience was extremely poor from beginning to end. I started out by getting a realtor, and I would suggest a realtor for anyone, completed the paperwork portion and we went home shopping. I knew where I wanted to live so we went straight to Spring Grove. The Lennar representative,George, I first encountered seemed eager to help, but I quickly found out that he was not the rep for me; overbooking himself hours at a time and being really obtrusive. Our realtor were great, people are nice but all in all when we did our blue taping we were told that we will receive a small set up on the table for us for buying the home with Lennar and never did see that so guess that’s not true. They told us they will put out nobs on our cabinets and we have been here a month and still haven’t received our nobs. Our power box keeps tripping out when we start out microwave and our stove and for it to be a ready to move in home it shouldn’t be that way. The people at the pool area that deals with the HOA are really awesome folks. Kids do love the area.

I could say Natasha and Phil help me out through the process. They did a fantastic job. Their part was to get me the home get me approved and close which I appreciate and I do appreciate my realtor as well. An outside of all of that, the carpenters, the people that did the texture in your painting could’ve done a better job unfortunately, once when I moved in, I didn’t notice after a week or so the touchups the texture, the caulking, the painting there was a lot of mistakes and unfortunately, I might have to take time or pay somebody to do repairs

At the start of my homebuying experience, I worked with sales rep Angel, who was terrific. He was very knowledgeable, and if he did not know the answer, he got me the answer. Angel showed me houses in four different cities around San Antonio. He never made me feel like a hassle and made it a point to help me when coming into town, as he knew I was purchasing out-of-state. When I decided to move forward with a house in Bulverde, I was told there were no sales incentives on the house because it was not included in the year-end sales event as it would not be closing by the end of the year. Loan officer Miranda was amazing. Was told corrections were being made at final walkthrough that weren’t when we moved in. Took 2 days to get access to a home we owned without explanation. After move in warranty response is unreliable including having contractor show up at 5 pm after being home all day to say he can’t do the work. No follow up after. Loan officers are super helpful and answer all emails and questions. The home is good value for price, but some parts of the process are highly lacking in customer service.

How a gas leak, plumbing issues (shower not draining) electrical issues got past “inspection” is beyond me! Simple things as installing doors properly for the safety of their home buyers is clearly not a value no integrity behind their name! I’ve been here 1 month and have yet to actually feel comfortable in this home! DONT BUY IF YOU DO HIRE AND PAY FOR YOUR OWN INSPECTION!!!

I purchased my home by the help of a virtual assistant (young eyes) and showed it was spacious, had a nice yard and the price range was good, but little did I know after moving, that this home was not meant for seniors/retirees due to the fact in order to replace the a/c filter you would need to pull down a step ladder, adjust it to secure it’s locked then climb up to the attic in order to replace the a/c filter. Worst experience ever buying a home!

Dealing with Lennar has been a nightmare! Their responsiveness is non existent and anytime there is a problem, they pass the buck to someone else and you never get a straight answer from anybody. We were warned to stay away from Lennar but we did not listen and we paid the price. I would greatly advise any new home buyers to STAY AWAY FROM LENNAR!

I had an issue with the driveway, it had cracks after the cement was poured, I put in a claim and was denied because they stated I already closed on the house and it is not covered, representative Mike stated this to me. I will not be purchasing another home from this builder in the future.

First off after several (6-7x) of getting and sending my homeowners insurance correction after correction from the lending team I was threatened with being charged per day that the house went over closing even after sending them everything I was getting from progressive. The home buying experience I had with Lennar was just horrible. It seems like all they care about was me closing as soon as possible. The workmanship for this 340,000 house is so horrible. I am still dealing with issues to this day. I have paint and texture all over my light fixtures, flooring issues, spray paint on my floor. The biggest thing that was so bad was the communication. Failure to pay attention to detail.

Thus far I have encountered many issues with construction failures in my new home. Issues such as crooked walls. Missing components. Central air and heating problems. Flooring issues with instalation flaws. No windows screens to save lennar money. Front yard still has installation failures, it appears as if they just went on to the next job and forgot about it. No personal follow up on new home. Last walk through was fast, sign here intial there. In 5min it was done. Never saw or heard from anyone again. I could go on but I won't you get the picture.
