Financing was easy. Workmanship is the absolute wort. My Brand New home was not detailed at all. My stove I was told it was on when they did their inspection it was UNPLUGGED. My flooring was put together with bits and pieces. Lots of little pieces landscaping cheap only 20 feet of sod when I have at least 50 feet needed to cover yard. No sod or fence for several weeks so needed to deal with massive mud and inconvenience since having pets needing to go outside. The house was stated to have been cleaned but it was not. The flooring has paint splatters and black marks throughout the home, inside all cabinets were filthy so unpacking had to wait until I had to clean them. Most of the Lennar workers do not speak English. The outside pavement, doors, windows remain filthy so installing screens has been delayed. I love my home but I feel like the purchasing experience wasn't good. The initial sales team was good and showed me the homes and features. I saw the same home listed for 25,000 to 30,000 less in the same street and I was told there was no room for negotiation. Then, once I chose the home and did the first blue tape walk, the construction team would just remove the blue tape but not fix the issues. I had to go multiple times to the house and remark with blue tape. The construction guy kept telling me they would fix the things, but next time the it was the same. I am so grateful that I was recommended Lennar builders because they gave me a chance to be a homeowner again after selling my last home with really bad broken Foundation. Being on disability Lennar builders gave me a chance and also I have brand new affordable living. How can you beat that ? Thank God for Lennar builders and all of their hard working team.

The only thing I have a problem with, and that I have had an issue with is the grass. It took a long time to get it, and when I did it set outside of the house, on a good day for three days and then again another three days. They did some of my yard, then they added a little more a couple of days later, and then they stopped and I'm still missing a big chunk. It's been three days, the grass will be dead by the time I get around to i Watering it. This process has been painfully slow and by the time it's done, I have a lot of dead grass. In the beginning stages of the home buying process I was appointed Sabrina as my home buyer concierge. I was informed I would contact her for any of the home buying process and needs for scheduling and working the process. Working with her was very unprofessional. The home was mostly finished by the time I had found it and submitted the application for it. Communication was an issue, making sure corrections were done correctly..were an issue. The whole home was basically covered in blue tape. Walls had super thin coat of paint, could see under it. The caulking was so bad, and even when they came to fix it, I had to correct the painter/caulker (same guy) on how to make it look neat and correct it while he was there. Compared to my previous experiences with well-known home builders, working with Lennar was a nightmare. From start to finish, it was clear that their only priority was the bottom line. We had to constantly push for people to do their jobs, and when we did, the responses were unprofessional and inadequate. This also extends to the people who were supposed to respond to our complaints—there was no accountability. I would not recommend Lennar to anyone.

Never spoke with the same person before buying. Left wife off title despite being told to put her on it. Communication was the worst ever. Deadlines never met yet I was rushed to do my parts. Landscaping not put in when originally told. Builder took forever to finalize final inspection for city because of landscaping delay. This prevented me from getting utilities moved into my name until two weeks after signing. Kitchen base boards not attached to anything. Paint is terrible quality and is easily marked and damaged. Home buying process was stressful and no one from Lennar was helpful.

the overall purchase was nice and there were no issues I am currently going through the process for some cabinet issues and so far that process has been great, but it is still in process. We moved from out of state and unfortunately the company could not wait an extra 6 days to do the landscaping and all of our grass is probably not going to make it and looks dead At this point this is the main issue we have.

The reality with Lennar

Lennar is a company with a lot of staff for every moment of the buying process. They guide you step by step. But they push for the closing date, and YOU HAVE TO CLOSE, even when THE INSPECTION DETAILS ARE NOT FULLY ARRANGED. I bought almost 2 months ago, and they still haven't fixed MANY details of the roof, attic, water keys, etc.

It was really awesome there is an entire team that walks you thru the process. You start in sales then you get a concierge and your salesperson and concierge work together to handle any questions or concerns you have. They reach out to the construction manager. It was the best experience ever.
