Prepare to be disappointed.

The quality of work by subcontractors need to looked at very closely. Seems like they just don't care. A few things can happen here and there but at every turn, the process needs to slow down, your name is on it!!

Lennar Builder delivered a home with good materials and provided outstanding value for the price. While the closing process was convenient and efficient, there were some areas where responsiveness to issues raised during the walkthrough could have been better. Addressing these concerns promptly would certainly contribute to an improved rating for trustworthiness.

I have bought other houses in the past and I have to say this was the easiest and fun experience I have had with the purchase of our home.

I’ve lost tons of sleep, the experience was to say the least was heart wrenching at times, you forget this is a business first for them and a home buying experience for you second in their eyes. You’ll want to leave and forget everyone associated with the process and then you’ll wake up one day with an email saying you’re clear to close and it’ll all be worth it and you’ll thank everyone evolved. Well maybe everyone…lol My advice, be good to yourself. Compared to what you’ve gone through in your life to get to this point consider this a walk in the park. Lennar is a way to go with their specials towards helping with the closing costs if you need help with that. If you don't need closing help I would try other builders. The subcontractors they use, do subpar work, no real over sight by Lennar as they have to many homes being built. The subcontractors constantly quit the job slowing down the build. I am 45 days after my house closed and still waiting for a piece of the framing to be placed and painted right. The constant back and forth with Lennar to get the painter out to do the job right is ridiculous. But overall the few annoyance is better than living in an apartment. ... More

I had a pretty good experience. I understood delays and all. I did turn down my first home choice because of workmanship. I am pleased with my second choice. Disappointed the designed changed a little. I've had a couple of service calls for minor fixes. All were done in a timely manner. Overall very pleased with my home, sales consultant, loan officer, lennar representatives all together. I would purchase again. Thank you.

We put a contract on a house at the framing stage, and were local so we visited almost weekly. We did NOT have a qualified or present CM and that created a lot of hassles, especially because he was demoted right before we closed and our Customer Care Manager, Stephen, had to really perform miracles to get us to closing. We actually are very pleased and love our house in the end. Pros: Warranty Dept,, Stephen(!), massive kitchen storage (Thayer model), excellent layouts and nice finishings. Cons: Wonky, narrow door openings to bathrooms and closets, houses don't come with garage door openers or window screens or gutters, and lack of disclosure on huge property management companies buying up large swaths of lots surrounding you--my street is probably 80% rental homes which would have definitely affected my decision to buy in my particular community. ... In a market where everything could have turned, Lennar and their team made it happen for me. My turn around was 30 days and I couldn’t have been happier. Being a first time homebuyer, after going through several agents and other builders, Lennar gave me what I needed. The home is simple, but it’s a great starter home, and I would absolutely buy from them again. Although some teams weren’t as thorough as others, a little persistence got the job done.

We bought a model floor plan after bouncing back and forth. The place is great overall. Location in Bulverde/ north SA is great. The home buying experience is way easier and better than going through an agent for a used home. If we were to buy again, we’d leave the appliances out and buy our own due to low quality. Plan on painting your garage and installing your own door opener. The provided home wireless router is not wired in so you have to route your own power. The tile work in bathrooms is par due to broken edges facing out and uneven placement. Overall, my wife and I are happy due to the location, community, and convenience of a new home. Good people responsive trust people

Most items on our punch list were taken care of, however, some paint touch up has not been completed. We are now nearing 2 months in the home. Marco has been great and responsive, but I have been unable to contact Maria, my sales consultant. Wes has been helpful, as has John with finance.

Been blessed to own/experience the home buying process , and finally live in my own home.

I love my Lennar Home It’s perfect for me and my family

Grass takes a long time to get installed. Mud runs down the street and pools up in front of my home, so road repair is needed to make the water run off. AC needed tuned and was fixed quickly! Common areas need maintenance in a big way, please address.

Sales consultants- Some sales consultants are not truthful. Make sure all conversations are documented. Underwriter- Documentation of all conversations regarding rates and fees is very important. Title / Escrow- again, document everything. Make sure to review everything. We found our names spelled wrong during final review before closing. Closing- make sure all docs are accurate. So far so good. The price is fair according to today's prices. Good experience: Fast costumer care, all my requests have been responded quick and kindly. Not so good experience: We have been waiting for the sod to be installed for 2 months now. Bad experience: Having only one hose bib at the front of the house and having to install a second one for the backyard. A lot of time and money spent for something that the Builder would had done very cheap and fast. No

Decent house for the price you pay for one. The finance part of buy a house with Lennar was easy and quick. For the house itself there a few things I would change. There's an insane amount of electrical outlets. far more than what's needed. There only one water spicket on the outside of the house. So, a hose that goes around the entire house is needed. Only half of the lawn received grass. And the builders left excess build material in the garage and never returned to get it. Other than that, everything else was pretty good.
