I had an issue with the driveway, it had cracks after the cement was poured, I put in a claim and was denied because they stated I already closed on the house and it is not covered, representative Mike stated this to me. I will not be purchasing another home from this builder in the future.

STAY AWAY ITS A HOUSE NOT A HOME

First off after several (6-7x) of getting and sending my homeowners insurance correction after correction from the lending team I was threatened with being charged per day that the house went over closing even after sending them everything I was getting from progressive. So they forced my hand into Lennar Insurance. Then I had a family emergency where my mother needed surgery, so I needed to push our closing date by 2 days!!!! so that I may be with her Lennar homes said no that I needed to close or they would walk away as they were confident an investor would pick it up and close on the ...

Buyer Beware

The home buying experience I had with Lennar was just horrible. It seems like all they care about was me closing as soon as possible. The workmanship for this 340,000 house is so horrible. I am still dealing with issues to this day. I have paint and texture all over my light fixtures, flooring issues, spray paint on my floor. The biggest thing that was so bad was the communication. I have spoken to managers , directors and rude consiglieri’s and it was as if the right had no idea what the left hand was doing. if I had know certain things like the HOA mandatory internet and other things I ...

Thus far I have encountered many issues with construction failures in my new home. Issues such as crooked walls. Missing components. Central air and heating problems. Flooring issues with instalation flaws. No windows screens to save lennar money. Front yard still has installation failures, it appears as if they just went on to the next job and forgot about it. No personal follow up on new home. Last walk through was fast, sign here intial there. In 5min it was done. Never saw or heard from anyone again. I could go on but I won't you get the picture.

Great Builders and Sales Representatives, But Disappointing Experience with the Loan Officer
- Leiloni J.
- Verified HomeBuyer
- January 09, 2025

Karina, my sales representative, did an excellent job showing me homes that matched my preferences. Brandon, one of the builders, provided a thorough explanation of everything I’d need to properly care for my home. During my home orientation, Daniel, another builder, addressed issues promptly and did a fantastic job resolving them. Unfortunately, my experience with Michael, the loan officer, was disappointing. He was dishonest during the process, and when I requested to speak with a supervisor about the matter after I verified his credentials, I saw he redirected me to one of his ...

Financing was easy. Workmanship is the absolute wort. My Brand New home was not detailed at all. My stove I was told it was on when they did their inspection it was UNPLUGGED. My flooring was put together with bits and pieces. Lots of little pieces landscaping cheap only 20 feet of sod when I have at least 50 feet needed to cover yard. Big gaps that my dog got out under the gate. I didn’t realize how small the door entry to the bathrooms are my walker doesn’t fit through the door. Bee nest in my garage it’s my problem. I just moved in. I’m allergic to bees No upgrade center. You pay HOA ...

Several unfinished issues at move-in

No sod or fence for several weeks so needed to deal with massive mud and inconvenience since having pets needing to go outside. The house was stated to have been cleaned but it was not. The flooring has paint splatters and black marks throughout the home, inside all cabinets were filthy so unpacking had to wait until I had to clean them. Most of the Lennar workers do not speak English. The outside pavement, doors, windows remain filthy so installing screens has been delayed. Kitchen cabinets had off-set issue which was fixed by replacing with unfinished cabinets so now new ones need to be ...

I love my home but I feel like the purchasing experience wasn't good. The initial sales team was good and showed me the homes and features. I saw the same home listed for 25,000 to 30,000 less in the same street and I was told there was no room for negotiation. Then, once I chose the home and did the first blue tape walk, the construction team would just remove the blue tape but not fix the issues. I had to go multiple times to the house and remark with blue tape. The construction guy kept telling me they would fix the things, but next time the it was the same. Even after moving in, the same ...

The only thing I have a problem with, and that I have had an issue with is the grass. It took a long time to get it, and when I did it set outside of the house, on a good day for three days and then again another three days. They did some of my yard, then they added a little more a couple of days later, and then they stopped and I'm still missing a big chunk. It's been three days, the grass will be dead by the time I get around to i Watering it. This process has been painfully slow and by the time it's done, I have a lot of dead grass. This makes me very sad and a little upset

Homebuyer concierge needs works

In the beginning stages of the home buying process I was appointed Sabrina as my home buyer concierge. I was informed I would contact her for any of the home buying process and needs for scheduling and working the process. Working with her was very unprofessional. I called her multiple times for different issues such as scheduling and trying to confirm dates and times for things such as the blue tape walk and closing date. She was unresponsive to multiple phone calls with no intention to call or respond back. She texted me one day after calling her multiple times in the morning and said ...

The home was mostly finished by the time I had found it and submitted the application for it. Communication was an issue, making sure corrections were done correctly..were an issue. The whole home was basically covered in blue tape. Walls had super thin coat of paint, could see under it. The caulking was so bad, and even when they came to fix it, I had to correct the painter/caulker (same guy) on how to make it look neat and correct it while he was there. He also got paint on the carpet. While I was doing the 1st walk through, he came in and started paitning everything and removing the ...

Compared to my previous experiences with well-known home builders, working with Lennar was a nightmare. From start to finish, it was clear that their only priority was the bottom line. We had to constantly push for people to do their jobs, and when we did, the responses were unprofessional and inadequate. This also extends to the people who were supposed to respond to our complaints—there was no accountability. I would not recommend Lennar to anyone.
Lennar responded:
Thank you for sharing your feedback, Ada. We sincerely apologize for the issues you've encountered during your homebuying experience. We understand how frustrating it can be when the responses you receive don't meet your expectations. Moving forward, we hope to provide you with an improved experience as a homeowner. Sincerely,
