The buying of the house was quick and easy. Now if only the warranty work was as simple. Been waiting since we moved in in May 2021 to have the grading of the lot looked at since I have flooding issues from the neighbors sprinklers.

Horrible service for landscaping, but other than that great experience. When you install completely dead grass after 6 weeks waiting for it, that sucks because the homeowners can’t get it to grow at all!! The worst with the added features!!

The buying process was very easy. Everyone very friendly. The seller was awesome! The only down fall is make sure you get everything in writing. When i say that i mean any extra things they say they will do, such as, cutting existing trees, cleaning the sidewalk or driveway of paint splatter or pieces of cement left. When my grass was laid my fence was damaged and never replaced.

This is my second Lennar home, first home in Texas. I was expecting more, my buying experience was better in CA.

Multiple issues that took some time to fix. Slow response time. Paint is poor quality and they do the bare minimum. We moved into a smart house but it was a dumb house for a couple weeks due to no communication from builders and subs needed to hook everything up.

In the beginning stages of the home buying process I was appointed Sabrina as my home buyer concierge. I was informed I would contact her for any of the home buying process and needs for scheduling and working the process. Working with her was very unprofessional. I called her multiple times for different issues such as scheduling and trying to confirm dates and times for things such as the blue tape walk and closing date. She was unresponsive to multiple phone calls with no intention to call or respond back. She texted me one day after calling her multiple times in the morning and said “one sec I’ll call you back, finishing lunch” and never called back and I had to call her the next day and she answered as if she was confused. I understand people are busy but this type of customer service is unprofessional and make it seem like buying a home isn’t a big deal. This is my second home purchase and honestly I’m kinda glad because this expierence did not feel special. I litterally had to hit up my loan officer Frank for help on things the homebuyer concierge should be doing. The overall process was very easy. Everything was pretty much done online at the convenience of own time on my phone such as the closing documents was done on my phone, so that was pretty neat. I would honestly say that these homes are built very cheap. The materials and labor that go into the home can be so much better. It’s like they are instructed to get the cheapest materials possible for everything that goes into your home but charge the homeowner an arm and a leg for the mortgage. Other than that, my Collier home is a pretty decent home for a couple or very small family.

Everyone involved was helpful during during buying process. After closing we reported two problems that have not been corrected. But we are very happy with the house and the location.

The only item that made this buy less than wonderful was the broken timeline promises and that was only caused by poor workmanship. Time and time again we had to postpone our move due to items that were either incomplete or poorly executed. Seems like pride in workmanship is a thing of the past in new built homes. Had things been done right at the beginning, we would have met our deadlines. Also, it would have been nice to receive some sort of follow-up from our salesman. Once we signed the paperwork for the purchase, we never heard back from him. The items that needed attention after we moved in have been resolved quickly. I honestly wish that I was giving a better review, but I haven’t had the most pleasant Closing on my home. The closing process went pretty smoothly but I’ve been running into issue after issue after moving into this house. It does on some things, and things were overlooked on inspection, which does not make me the most comfortable because it makes me question what else was overlooked or rushed. I’ll be honest and say that I’m not sure I would go with this builder again and I don’t know what things can be done to fix the continuous inconveniences I’ve had.

Moving to San Antonio from Chicago and thought this is going to be my forever home but for some reasons it’s taking longer than expected to fix little things in the new built home, trying to have fixed before I move in and still no improvements of the requested repairs (sad face)

Family and I chose Lennar due to the growing presence in the SA community. We love our first home, but regardless of being a first time owner or subsequent owner the overall quality of the home is worrisome. From nails in the window frames to missing caulking throughout the home, the house was painted wrong then repainted the correct color with lack of attention to detail, frame can be seen outlined through the sheet rock, slanted window, and nearly every door frame was installed by the world heaviest hammer (broken sheet rock). It’s either move in and get things fixed post closing or don’t move in and lose out on great financing. The only thing that makes up for the lack of craftsmanship were the people who directly work with you. Whether it be the customer care representative who has been there every step of the way, or the construction manager who made sure to point out what flaws were present before the blue tape walk through - taking ownership to handle some of the issues before I could even see them. The mortgage financing team and sales associate were just as awesome. We still have issues to address throughout the home but the reassuring approach from all representatives let us breathe a little and get acclimated to the home. Hoping when we move from this one (potentially using Lennar again) we can have better craftsmanship experience. ... More

First time buying a home, wish I knew what to look for before signing off, lesson learned.

You don’t get what you pay for.

Too many problems in the home and long wait period to get them fixed.

Have several issues with the grass the Lennar Company tells me that I need to call the grass Company but I purchased the house from Lennar not for the grass Company also have other issues that they haven’t help me I think personally they don’t care

The quality control is not the best, the finish of the house was really bad.

Our warranty guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about or how to communicate with customers. I still have questions and concerns that we’re never answered by him and he’s blocked my number which is insane. I told him to have his office call but never got a call. He was extremely confrontational and talked to me and my wife like we weren’t worth his time. Extremely disappointed I had to deal with this individual and that our house still has issue that he never fixed even though he said it would be

Builders warranty sucks because basically there is no warranty on the sod they laid down I put in a work order and it took 2 1/2 months of me hounding my warranty guy and he even came out and looked and agreed with me that they screwed up but his boss was a jerk and won’t pay to have it fixed

I felt there were a few shining stars in my experience, but there were communication issues with finance. There was poor craftsmanship on many issues. The repairs I requested on final inspection were not all completed, and when I tried to use my warranty to fix them, Lennar never contacted me to schedule repairs. I’m not sorry I bought the house, but I am sorry the company has such lack of integrity and pride in the job they do. When you make a promise to a customer, you should keep your word.

I walked into a home I bought online and when I did see it in person I was not happy, there wasn't any grass in the yard, and inside it's as if it was done by a someone in a rush and was cross-eyed, I woke up to a pile of ants and a few spiders and when I went to talk to someone about it was told that it's my home so I would have to deal with it, and this was after living in there for 3 days, a front driveway that has a crack across three panels that I still have to pay full price for, no back pad that I can grill on, cabinets that hits the walls and flooring that was done without care, when I first looked into this company, I told others to look into it and buy, now I don't do it because I do not want someone to blame me for buying from Lennar ... Once you pay, they no longer prioritize your concerns.

Material are cheap...we need call to repair some items

Sales rep was nice but not very knowledgeable

There was some miscommunication in the beginning but other than that, the purchase of my new home with Lennar went relatively smooth. Only cons: you are not allowed to make any changes throughout the building process ie, flooring, carpet color or any additional upgrades. Another major disappointment was the doorways going into the bathrooms and pantry were not wide enough for me to get through with my walker. But overall, the house I got with all the included upgrades and the price I paid was outstanding!
