The home itself is nice. Though I would have to say that the some of the craftsmanship and materials could be done better. I had to recaulk my entire house. Outer walls are kind of thin. There is definitely wasted space in the kitchen cabinets. Had to call in a repair within the first few days of moving in due to water getting in the home when it rained, and the customer service was great. They got someone out quickly to fix the issue. All the customer service interactions I've had have been very positive.

Well, overall not going to purchase another Lennar home. Quality issues overall are horrible. They sublet things to the cheapest vendor they can find and it shows. From plumbing issues due to laziness of pouring construction materials down the toilet drains, to the painters touch up jobs being horrible. You can tell the paint is watered down when the retouches happen and the shades are totally off. Our paint vendor wanted to argue with us and tell us pretty much we didn't know what we were/are doing. The sales guy was great, he came through clutch and stood by everything he mentioned. This rating is based on my experience in purchasing a Lennar house.

I don't think I would ever use the builders finance company again.

[TRANSLATED FROM ES] I need them to thoroughly check all the air conditioning in my house; it's been malfunctioning for about a month now and they still haven't fixed it.

First, I would buy 10 houses from my Lennar New Home Consultant, Alina *****. She is amazing! I don’t think I have ever met such a committed and hardworking woman. That’s the good. The bad, too many cooks in the kitchen with the mortgage side. I didn’t count the emails I received but my husband did and he received over 80 emails by the time we closed—that’s ridiculous! Then there is a Lennar portal which is almost useless. You will go online to check and make sure everything’s done (uploaded, signed, submitted, review, etc) on the portal thinking great everything has been checked off. You of course would be wrong, as you will only discover it wasn’t done because other things are emailed to you separately and it did not show up in the ‘things to do’ that the portal reminds you about. And you have so many emails you don’t know which of the 80 is important or redundant .Plus, you will be asked to upload items and you do (the day they are requested) only to then have someone ask you to re upload them because they can’t find them—even though they are clearly labeled in the portal as originally requested. So what is the point of the portal? Then unfortunately, you get moved from one person to the next so then you don’t know who to reach out to for what ever question you have regarding your loan or mortgage questions. Then if that isn’t enough someone else will start texting and emailing you sending out info or reminders and because you don’t know who they are you can’t determine if they are necessary or superfluous? And I can understand that they’re trying to make each person responsible for a small amount of the process however, if Lennar really cared about their customers, they would explain it to them before the process started. They would say something like, you’re going to be in contact with X many people during this process. After each step is completed you will move onto the next person. If this was explained, it could be streamlined, and the customer would understand what to expect (in my opinion). Lastly, there is the walk though, that is both useful and where the wheels fell off for us. Useful in that you will get important information about where to find what in your new house. You will talk with men who are friendly and charming. Regardless, we had to get 3 inspections because our trust was broken related to that walk through. It’s too long to go into—it was a troubling and unfortunate situation. I would just encourage people to get and speak to your home inspector about follow up inspections (ours was incredibly reasonable rate wise). Then after it’s all said and done you fill out the survey and to Lennar’s credit someone did reach out both from the mortgage department and from the construction side. They listened and I was honest about the good and the bad. I appreciated that and respected them for having an open dialogue about the missteps without making excuses. So now I live in my home. I was told that they would come and repair a problem I have with the the interior door of the garage quickly since I had such a bad experience with the sale process. I didn’t pile on and ask for a ton of things just this one annoying door. It’s been a month and wouldn’t you know it, no one has made time to take the 5 minutes to fix it. Nice words no follow through. So in ending, I started nice and I will end nice. Lennar has great floor plans. They leave a lot to be desired but at least the bones are good. The people I have interacted with have all been mostly warm and friendly and I appreciate that. I truly think that things fall through the cracks when people are rushed and overworked. The door from my home to the garage has a bathroom doorknob, not a locking one. I was told that would be replaced. Also the cupboard in the kitchen is not square. The new refrigerator I bought is square and the adjacent corner on the outside of the pantry os not, there is a widening gap that demonstrates this in a very obvious way.

Quality of finishes, sloppy.

No matter how many bad reviews are written about this company I know nothing will change. But here's another one. The quality in this house is sub par, we've had people in and out of this house at least once a week fixing things and we have only lived here 3 moths.

The lady that did the walk through with me was not very nice. I was advised to point out things I noticed that needed to be fixed so as pointing things out she said "well not everything is going to be perfect", she also couldn't answer a warranty question for me when I noticed the HVAC wasn't listed on the warranty document and was just like "well I don't know" instead of "I'm not sure but I can get that answer for you" or something of that nature. The landscaping was horrible. I was informed it would be laid 3-5 days after closing and I would be called to schedule an appointment. None of that happened. They left the sod sitting in front of my house the day I closed, I happened to see it as I was leaving after picking up the keys and thought it was the neighbor's as I hadn't been contacted for it and just closed that day. I come back a couple days later and the sod is laid and brown. I've been struggling to bring it back to life for months and some of it is dead now. I also moved in to a home that hadn't been cleaned like I was told it would be. Dirt on the floors and walls, paint on the floors, there was a crazy amount of trash in the side and back yards when I first walked into my house after getting my keys, it felt like no one cared I had just bought the home. House is built cheaply, they don't give you all the said to cover your whole yard. Bugs are inevitable as it is a developing community.

Some stuff was supposed to be fixed before we close they said it was fixed we moved in it wasn't fixed I called the project manager he came in took it apart said gonna come back still didn't come calling him nothing

My experience with Lennar has been consistently frustrating from start to finish. The loan approval process was disorganized — I was asked for the same documents multiple times, asked for documents that didn't apply to my loan type, and after switching loan types at their suggestion, the loan was pieced together incorrectly. Deadlines were missed, and I often had to correct their own errors. Post‑closing has been just as difficult. Warranty service is slow, with responses taking nearly a week and usually resulting in delays rather than solutions. Communication is poor, follow‑through is lacking, and I've had to escalate issues just to get basic answers. I'm still dealing with workmanship defects 1.5 months after move‑in, many of which are dismissed as "normal." Overall, Lennar has required constant chasing for results, and the ***** of service has been well below expectations. ... More

Horrible experience

Overall a good to very good experience. Several sloppy but fixable construction issues throughout the house. I’d have pulled out my hair if not for the assistance of the Lennar liaison person. She’s helped me through a handful of issues. The remaining sloppiness will be resolved or replaced by myself. Wait times were long but understandably so.

On going process try to get it fix.

The biome quality was ok for the price point I bought as an investor it is attractive for cashflow but your customer service is nonexistent once contract is done and after close. Close and goodbye! I am still Waiting for a call for a warranty request for 2 weeks even after a second request was made! Terrible!

Everyone associated with the transaction was honest and forthright. Nothing was hidden or obscure. The house is great. Extremely minor punch list was handled immediately and correctly.

Continue to foster good handoff between different s***** sets within the company.

***** is*****s were plbg. main sewer line was holding water, discovered on inspection. The plumber should have done the testing after installation and checked grades for proper drainage. Landscaper grade is F. The crew needed a supervisor. Not Lennar supervisor but their crew super. Sod was delived and LEFT on the street on a hot day...the heat burned the roots. They still layed the dead sod, took weeks to get replaced with new. On replacing they layed on top of dead, and ***** remove dead sod in spots and spoils. Next rain water drained onto the driveway...a crew supervisor should have taken care of this. Powerwashed the driveway...BUT TOWARD the house instead of an angle, not there is sand and dirt on the new garage door, I had to go was it off with my hose.
