The loan process was frustrating. They asked for paperwork the Friday before Christmas, I couldn’t get so my closing date got pushed. Then at the last minute they said they didn’t need it and set a closing date without checking with me. The title people were great and went out of their way to meet me and give me keys over the Holiday weekend. The house was not been cleaned before I moved in. Try to get things fixed is long process. It normally takes me 4-5 calls to get something resolved. It doesn’t look like a lot of pride was put into building the house. It was just put up fast and onto the next one. I get they are basic cookie cutter houses, but still… It would be nice if they would clean up the trash in the area so it doesn’t blow into the yards. We faced some challenges right off the bat with our first pick home getting sold, literally as we were signing our salesforce documents, however in the long run we got a much nicer house with better amenities for roughly $200 more a month. After that things went pretty smoothly right up until we had to start dealing with Lennar Finance. It was extremely frustrating having to upload the SAME requested documents MUTLIPLE times, receiving incorrect cash to close amounts, & trying to get ahold of people was like pulling teeth. Also, while dealing with finance, there were mistakes made with our master shower due to build plan changes & miscommunication with the builder/contractors which ended up pushing our close date back about a week. Once all of these challenges were worked through, we finally made it to closing & it was totally pain free experience. Was able to lock in a decent rate at the beginning of summer before the rates came up. Closing date got pushed 4 times. Initial start of contract was May 1 and first closing date was mid june and got pushed to end of June then mid July and last was end of July. We love our home and Lennar was able to help with closing costs and our loan officer was very responsive with updates and good and bad news. The construction is of good quality but know that mistakes are made being at the rate they are building these homes. Blue tape everything you can before closing. Look inside cabinets and attic for cross members in the frame coming loose. Painters need pay more attention with overpainting and splashing on floors. Outside the home the lawn is coming along. Weeds can overcome your new grass if not maintained. Some of the grass was brown as they were installing it. Out of the 4 trees they planted the 2 oaks are dry and brittle and i don't think they are going to come back. Two others are surely turning green but will see come next spring. Note their is not a construction supervisor onsite ensuring plans and things are done correctly. Hope that someone besides the homeowner do a walkthrough and identify all discrepancies before hand and corrective action is taken to fix them before homeowner does initial walkthrough. ... More

The closing date kept moving more times than it should have. One time it was moved 24 hours prior to our third closing date. This was due to delays by construction. When we finally got a new home walk through the house was in no condition to be viewed. There were people still working on the home. Toilets were still being installed as we were inspecting the home. No appliances were installed, no gas meter, no sprinkler, no sod and no fence, painting not complete to name a few. It was extremely disappointing.

Fixing problems with house have been slow

Lennar Mortgage messed up on my home insurance policy. I'm still waiting for my refund. Other than that, sale respresentative, construction manager and onsite service manager are very friendly and quite helpful.

The buying experience was a little frustrating due to being out of country and some of the sales staff was not super helpful. There has been has been a few warranty issues with tile work and the company sub-contracted with Lennar is slow to fix the issues. Love the neighborhood and looking forward to loving my house once issues have been fixed.

Sales experience was great along with the walk through prior to closing. The frustrating part came when trying to get everything fixed. The quality control is not good so multiple things had to be corrected multiple times to include major corrections like to the flooring and the siding. My requests also went unanswered. Took over a month to transfer water into our name because the correct amount of trees weren’t installed to begin with. Of course I had already had the irrigation system put in when they had to throw a random tree in an odd spot just to pass the inspection. I had a good homebuying experience which may have been better if not for the pandemic restrictions. Many of the documents were made available in digital format which made the lending and closing processes easier. "Everything Included" should have been optional since many appliances can be purchased at lower prices. The quality of the materials is good but getting someone to make modifications such as removing carpet were difficult. Overall I am glad I purchased a home from Lennar.

All staff from various departments were friendly but there were so many involved that no one seemed to know what the other departments were doing. All staff were responsive wmexcept for one concierge Hanah who often did not respond to requests. I joked with the manager that Lennar should be paying me a salary as I had to do so much work in coordinating staff between departments. It wasn’t at all seamless or efficient

I purchased a home Lennar. They did not pressure wash my driveway. They didn’t clean my yard after I purchased it. I had to ask them twice. The “free grass” I got is actually making me pay extra to get treated and my landscaper just told me I need to get all new grass. The HOA is asking me to get my yard treated

Sales in my opinion very poor. Was handed a list of homes and a house key and told go check them out and let me know if you want one. Construction purchased a finished inventory home. I walked the home 2weeks prior to my official walk thru and made a list of punch items. I gave this list to sales requesting it to be given to the construction team. The day of the walk thru none of the items had been addressed. Closing had to be moved 3 or 4 times. Had to reschedule movers twice, and they simply just didn't care. After many emails from “concierges”, never laying eyes on any that I was passed around to, final walk through was done by Rebecca. She was nice enough but it was obvious she did this day in, day out, so was very pushy about getting done. All issues found were corrected on the spot! This is my first experience with Lennar, but not my first home buying experience. I felt like I was being herded through the process, this lady did not really care if I was happy or not. Through the entire process, first look to deciding to buy, then actually getting it purchased I was given incorrect information at times, had to reach out to whichever “concierge” I was assigned to at the time to get information on times, dates. There was lot of unknowns after and before the Closing Process and there was no follow thru on what was discussed and agreed to during the walkthru and during the Sales Process.

We got a great price we love the location and the neighborhood. However the sales process had plenty of errors. The loan process had a lack of communication. Construction was clearly rushed and builder used the cheapest materials possible.

The builders of our home didn’t really take pride in their work. Door latches do not engage properly, outside siding nails created problems both for cable installation, and with water heater pipes. Lennar is short staffed so getting issues fixed or repaired before closing was problematic

Happy with the affordability, we love our new home. As a homebuyer the process was good, we were able to complete all of our tasks with guidance from the Lennar team. We did have to advocate for our home in regard to "quick workmanship" and materials being overlooked. Construction materials were left in the plumbing, water heating, and cooling nozles were painted over, the floors have lifted/chipped pieces, with smudged with adhesive from installation, plumbing, and cabinet materials were missing, and the exterior of the house has built-up mortar on the concrete, and much of the caulking and texture was completed with a sloppy look. We are happy that Lennar is able to provide work orders on discrepancies we find in the home. We were contacted by many different Lennar team members with tasks, who would give us different information, we learned we needed to track who we spoke with and document everything in a paper trail. We wish it was just one person we work with who collaborates with the rest of the team because it felt overwhelming to have to turn the same documentation in to too many different Lennar team members. The Lennar realtor showed us the house, and that was the end of our experience with them, our personal realtor worked above and beyond to ensure our closing was as smooth as possible. Our closing date was delayed due to material not being available by about a month, which put us in a temporary bind, but Lennar was able to compensate for the inconvenience. During the process of purchasing my first home, it all started off really well. Once it started getting closer to the final close out date, I began having issues with the construction team. The first instance that occurred was me finding a crack pipe in the guest bathroom. Then there was a lot of rescheduling due to them leaving the house dirty and muddy. They also snapped my AT&T Fiber Cable when they were laying dirt for sod and failed to take accountability for it. So many instances that piled up on one another, but at least the finance team made up for the inconvenience of the Construction Team. ... More

Most of the staff with Lennar is great, however communication skills on the other hand, not so good. I understand things happen, but the lack of communication was absurd. Our home was never cleaned before moving in either. Moving into a dirty home, with an infant, trying to unpack was chaotic. The builder did send the cleaners over about a week later, however when they cleaned they left tiny pieces of metal (from their scrubbers) all over my floor. Blue tape was still left in some places as well. All in all my family and I were just expecting a different outcome. The staff was friendly and helpful, the builder was informative and tried to be corrective as well. Lennar could become that next level company if they were "proactive" in their communication.It always seems like internal communication is poor at best so many more steps are needed to get something done than needed! Overall, Lennar builds a pretty good home but they get defensive when something needs to be corrected. It all comes down to being open and transparent, communication!!

My home was delivered to me 5/almost 6 months late based on the initial expected completion date. Original completion date was mid May and the home actually was completed at the end of October. This has caused several issues for myself, I had to bring in my own cleaning services because paint marks were left on the floors and cabinets throughout the house. When completion dates would get changed no one would notify me and when I would ask why it is getting delayed, I wouldn't get answers for days at a time.

There are two out maybe six people I dealt with that knew what was going on. The title people were awful to deal with. The house is great, but can tell it is a track home with the cheaper materials used. A lot of stuff was scratched, broke, not finished when e arrived. Sloppy

Quality of workmanship is barely passable

My initial experience was positive. Over time I began to see many issues, there was a lack of communication between Lennar personnel and the home finance company, as well as a lack of communication between lennar employees which caused unnecessary headaches. When we finally did get into the home, the final cleaning hadn't been done, the paint job was amateur: overspray over the side of the house and external paint over sprayed into the home as well. After the sod was put in, the yard was very uneven, there were several voids where no sod was put in and I'm still trying to patch my lawn up, and they only cover 20ft of the backyard which everyone at lennar failed to inform me of and was not in the contract. Some of the positive notes I'd like to mention is that the Lennar maintenance team is very quick to respond to issues inside and outside of the home, the construction manager was helpful in getting us the info necessary to register appliances in the home as well. ...
