So my home did not come with a garage door opener, so I had one professionally installed so now I am told since 'Lennar' did not install it my garage door is no longer under warranty. FYI, before I moved in it has a 'catch' about halfway up they said they fixed, but they did not...and now well my door is no longer under warranty so I guess it is my problem now

Lennar rushed me into a home that wasn’t ready to be moved into. Everyday I see more and more things that should’ve been completed before I moved in. luckily I still have a year left to get things corrected, but it should’ve been ready to go before I closed. I’ll know not to purchase with Lennar again in the future

Fast but limited

If you go everything lennar (mortgage,title,etc) its fast since you are only dealing with one company. But, that limits your options. Main issue, they don’t install the sod/grass until you buy the house. So end up doing the work on maintaining the initial install. watering twice daily for 2 weeks and if you miss it then you have terrible lawn. Its a learning curve for first time homeowners without lawn care experience. Specially if you haven’t move in yet, They install sod without telling you so you miss the watering days and end up with dead sod

make sure you are totally happy with all repairs before closing on house. very poor communication between builder and buyer. I will not buy another Lennar home.

My overall home buying experience was stressful and almost traumatic. By far the worst purchasing experience I've ever dealt with. There was an extreme lack of communication with everyone involved. My closing date was moved up without my knowledge only to satisfy the managers' quota for the month. I felt more like a number on a sales performance board than an actual customer making one of the most important purchasing decisions of my life. Our warranty guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about or how to communicate with customers. I still have questions and concerns that we’re never answered by him and he’s blocked my number which is insane. I told him to have his office call but never got a call. He was extremely confrontational and talked to me and my wife like we weren’t worth his time. Extremely disappointed I had to deal with this individual and that our house still has issue that he never fixed even though he said it would be

Lennar was awesome. They worked with me beyond what anyone else would have. They didn't let me give up. They just kept going for me. Would truly recommend them to family and friends.

Terrible overall experience. The salesman, salesman’s supervisor, concierge, Construction Foreman all were horrible. The lack of follow through and returning calls was unacceptable. The title company returned half of my calls until I closed then stopped returning my calls. Ken, who did the warranty walk through and sign off was great. I’m a seasoned investor and not a first time home buyer which is what they are used to dealing with. They prey on the ignorance of the buyer and don’t put the buyer first.

Very frustrating. Issues from the very beginning till now. My very first week in this house my bathroom flooded due to a missing cap, it took way too long and me complaining for someone to come look at it. My house was not move in ready when I closed there was several issues with the AC, there was paint on the floor and cabinets and I already had fully moved in by the time they came to clean it. One of my door doesn’t close all the way, and it’s been stressful as a single woman to deal with all of these issues after I just bought a 251k home. I advise any buyer to not move in their houses ...

Terrible experience, first time home buyer. Our realtor was shocked and surprised, a lot of first for her. Weeks with out any info or communication, to then have these abrupt request. This and this needed within 48 hours. Every step of the way was a hassle and a pain. Even closing was a hassle. Home is great but the buying process was horrible. To the point that gave me second thoughts of purchasing.

Disappointed because I remember them saying I was gonna get a irrigation system and I didn't get it. And my grass is dead now having to look for someone to put one in thats gonna cost me more money

I think before closing everything has to check 110% before you hang keys , also once keys are handed any issues should be taking care off ASAP CAUSE IF THATS THE CASE WITH ISSUES INSIDE HOUSE then I think should be a priority to get it fix and not have to wait 4 to 6 weeks to get it fix

Doors were never touched up before moving in, had to repaint ourselves. Kitchen cabinet is crooked. Flooring is raised in certain spots, back fence is already separating & we have only been here 1 month. For what we paid, I expected a higher quality of workmanship.
