Decent house for the price you pay for one. The finance part of buy a house with Lennar was easy and quick. For the house itself there a few things I would change. There's an insane amount of electrical outlets. far more than what's needed. There only one water spicket on the outside of the house. So, a hose that goes around the entire house is needed. Only half of the lawn received grass. And the builders left excess build material in the garage and never returned to get it. Other than that, everything else was pretty good.

The finishes in the house could use some improvement. Don't ever give a Lennar subcontractor a caulk gun. they suck at this. Painting is another thing they need more practice at, after move in, i was finding so many areas where they did not use any quality control with painting and caulking.

My experience with purchasing a Lennar Silo Home in San Antonio was a great experience. Nick and Chris were very responsive to all my requests and inquiries. They responded above and beyond their normal duties. Also Lennar Mortgage made my transaction very easy.

I felt there were a few shining stars in my experience, but there were communication issues with finance. There was poor craftsmanship on many issues. The repairs I requested on final inspection were not all completed, and when I tried to use my warranty to fix them, Lennar never contacted me to schedule repairs. I’m not sorry I bought the house, but I am sorry the company has such lack of integrity and pride in the job they do. When you make a promise to a customer, you should keep your word.

The whole buying is experience was good until Damon the salesperson got involved and was arrogant and unprofessional. Soured the whole good experience.

They didn’t even asked me for permission is my property now so why do that? .. I didn’t know until I noticed it was not there. Didn’t feel safe having it like that. And after they put it back wasnt the way it was.

Bad experience with lennar title.

The home buying process was pretty straight forward and any issues I had were treated quickly. Things were missed initially but are being worked on.

Lack of communication and empathy from Sales team (Joe in particular), with Concierge and also with Mortgage and title. Building Team (Jose). Grateful for Mickey (Mortgage) - He went above and beyond to regain my trust and satisfaction after disappointment with Joe (Saleperson) and mortgage officer. Building Team (Jose) is excellent and extremely responsive. Closing was done remote, no excitement from Lennar Team when pick up house key at the end. No one has offer for us to take pictures, had to ask if it was ok. No engagement with new homeowner, it was very transactional.

When I came to Lennar I was looking for the home of my dreams a second home and I got stuck in a home that according to the Lennar seller was just an option and he force me to start the application and during the process he was going to help me to get in to the home I was looking, of course that never happened the guy really didn’t care . Due to my circumstances I accept to keep the home ,during home inspection I realize the cheap material that was used for the construction I’m afraid about a bad wind or rain I don’t think it will resist a storm . The warranty is only valid for a short period . The finance process was easy but I did not get the interest rate I was told on the beginning of the application despite an excelente credit score and 20%down payment it seems like they are in a hurry to sell their homes. ... If I could give MORE then ZERO stars to Lennar it would not be enough. Working with Lennar Homes was absolutely HORRIBLE from the very start. I will NEVER EVER recommend. Workmanship is horrible for the price we paid. Lennar took away the so called wonderful home buying experience which we will never get. Thanks Lennar for DESTROYING our dream, be proud of yourself.

After searching for weeks for a new home, we found this diamond in the rough. Everything we wanted with an amazing floor plan we had never seen before, and loved. From purchase to closing took 3 weeks. The mortgage process with Lennar mortgage was a bit painful, but we kept the light at the end of the tunnel and made it through. We are thrilled with our new home!

Good incentives, but the quality of the home is not great. You get what you pay for.

It took us awhile gathering information for them to process the application and using my VA in closing . Very pleased with the results and our new home.

The home buying process was a lot easier than expected

So my home did not come with a garage door opener, so I had one professionally installed so now I am told since 'Lennar' did not install it my garage door is no longer under warranty. FYI, before I moved in it has a 'catch' about halfway up they said they fixed, but they did not...and now well my door is no longer under warranty so I guess it is my problem now

Debbie made our home buying experience very easy and pleasurable. Brett was very thorough during our closing walk thru and made sure all our concerns were taken care of in a timely manner. Debbie and Brett are both Great assets to the Lennar brand. Very SATISFIED!!…

I can’t describe my experience. It was so bad that I have no words to describe it.

Lennar rushed me into a home that wasn’t ready to be moved into. Everyday I see more and more things that should’ve been completed before I moved in. luckily I still have a year left to get things corrected, but it should’ve been ready to go before I closed. I’ll know not to purchase with Lennar again in the future

If you go everything lennar (mortgage,title,etc) its fast since you are only dealing with one company. But, that limits your options. Main issue, they don’t install the sod/grass until you buy the house. So end up doing the work on maintaining the initial install. watering twice daily for 2 weeks and if you miss it then you have terrible lawn. Its a learning curve for first time homeowners without lawn care experience. Specially if you haven’t move in yet, They install sod without telling you so you miss the watering days and end up with dead sod

make sure you are totally happy with all repairs before closing on house. very poor communication between builder and buyer. I will not buy another Lennar home.

My overall home buying experience was stressful and almost traumatic. By far the worst purchasing experience I've ever dealt with. There was an extreme lack of communication with everyone involved. My closing date was moved up without my knowledge only to satisfy the managers' quota for the month. I felt more like a number on a sales performance board than an actual customer making one of the most important purchasing decisions of my life. My interest rate was changed from what was discussed so I had to follow up multiple times to have it changed back. The house repairs were not fixed from the orientation by the time of my closing date, but I was still forced to close on that day. Lennar (although at fault for not fulfilling their obligations) gave me an ultimatum to close on the 28th of August or I would lose out on the deal. No one was sympathetic to my frustrations. I've purchased a home in the past, so I know the difference between good customer service and whatever it is that Lennar calls this. ... More
