Lennar Mortgage messed up on my home insurance policy. I'm still waiting for my refund. Other than that, sale respresentative, construction manager and onsite service manager are very friendly and quite helpful.

Prices are over-inflated due to the market, but the builder cheaps out along with raising prices. Little things such as lack of outdoor lighting, no appliances, cheap materials, and unclean move in made buying the home feel less accomplishing. Myself and MANY neighbors complain about the rushed, poor quality work put into the homes, especially for paying more than the homes are really worth.

Lennar - Nice community where it’s built.

Nice community where it’s built. Difficult working through the mortgage process. Not enough help. Other than the mortgage people I found everyone else available and wanting to try to see my needs were met. Lots of items needed attention after a private inspection.

The buying experience was a little frustrating due to being out of country and some of the sales staff was not super helpful. There has been has been a few warranty issues with tile work and the company sub-contracted with Lennar is slow to fix the issues. Love the neighborhood and looking forward to loving my house once issues have been fixed.

Lennar Title Company

The Lennar Title Company was non-responsive to my questions, emails and calls. They assigned my closing to three different agents before finally closing. I requested the closing settlement statement several times before I received it. My closing was remote with no personal interaction with a human being. I only met a Title representative when I picked up my keys. The Title Company is over worked, poorly managed and inefficient.

Sales experience was great along with the walk through prior to closing. The frustrating part came when trying to get everything fixed. The quality control is not good so multiple things had to be corrected multiple times to include major corrections like to the flooring and the siding. My requests also went unanswered. Took over a month to transfer water into our name because the correct amount of trees weren’t installed to begin with. Of course I had already had the irrigation system put in when they had to throw a random tree in an odd spot just to pass the inspection. Overall happy but ...

I had a good homebuying experience which may have been better if not for the pandemic restrictions. Many of the documents were made available in digital format which made the lending and closing processes easier. "Everything Included" should have been optional since many appliances can be purchased at lower prices. The quality of the materials is good but getting someone to make modifications such as removing carpet were difficult. Overall I am glad I purchased a home from Lennar.

Questionable Practices.

My initial experience was positive. Over time I began to see many issues, there was a lack of communication between Lennar personnel and the home finance company, as well as a lack of communication between lennar employees which caused unnecessary headaches. When we finally did get into the home, the final cleaning hadn't been done, the paint job was amateur: overspray over the side of the house and external paint over sprayed into the home as well. After the sod was put in, the yard was very uneven, there were several voids where no sod was put in and I'm still trying to patch my lawn up, ...

Starting with the showing, i had a great experience. The mortgage originator was awesome. But the (concierge), was awful. Never returned calls. Not even sure what her purpose was. Now to the house, day of closing I go pick up my keys. I pull up to house, and cleaner was just arriving. She pulled in and blew through the house in 10 min. House is still full of dirt over a month later. I am still getting glue off of flooring through the house. The paint they use must be water color paint because you can not wipe it down. I need to clean the walls but if i wipe it with warm water, the paint comes ...

Overall it was an Okay experience. Our sales rep was phenomenal - thank you Liz!! Jennifer on the lending side was also amazing!! Closing day was great at Lennar. The walk through was good at the beginning and then didn’t continue that way - and the concierge person was not good at any point in time.

The day before closing many items still needed completed from the new home celebration walk through. We were told they’d all be done before closing. They were not. The house was never cleaned from the construction crews inside or out. The gate tears the sod up that they laid, bath room cabinets not finished and flooring already coming up. We were told vents were put on up on the roof, first rain fall in the new home equaled puddles in every bathroom. Seems lazy and sad, I know some issues are expected but we have many and the saddest is it was filthy to move into.

The material is pretty cheap. I still gave blue tape from my walk through of spots that were never corrected. My neighbor closed a week after me has his grass and trees I was told “sorry” by construction mgr was then told I was scheduled for Tuesday June 24, 2025 to get my grass. That’s STILL has not happened. There’s always trash in our yards from the builders because they leave their trash everywhere blowing around foam plates, water bottles, trash bags, aluminum foil. It’s everywhere.

- The initial purchasing process was a smooth one. - Several smaller issues that were discovered during the walk through & reported were not resolved as promised. Meanwhile, the Lennar team were persistent about ‘closing’ so we did it as soon as possible. The outstanding issues were never addressed. - It’s not necessarily the issues that wasn’t completed, but the promise that wasn’t kept creates a negative impression.

During the 2 video tours the different functions didn't talk through what the process should be, and they didn't know who should go first or who had done what and whatsoever; the construction gabbage was there on the site for 2 weeks without people cleaning up; the landscape team that works with Lennar didn't check whether all sprinkles work properly; and I don't know why landlord needs to turn on gas within 3 days of closing since nobody needs to take a shower or cook during rental house showing, that led me to a $150 gas bill with no usage of gas at all.

If you are okay with sinks being installed crooked, being lied to about what materials the home is made of and poor workmanship amd minimal insulation....continue the process. Bottom line...if you are looking for a cheap home you will get what you pay form they are responsive during the warranty period but no guarantees anything will get fixed. Honest review. I do like the communtiy I live in. The people make it worth it.

Overall process was relatively simple, with all of it being conducted through their online applications. The part of the process that ultimately left a bad taste was after closing. The house was not cleaned as our representative Bert had assured me. The bathrooms (especially showers) were filthy, the floor in the hallways were muddy, baseboards dirty, etc. After multiple messages, the construction manager finally arranged for a cleaner to come, who by the looks of it only swept the floor. My family and I ultimately were responsible for the cleaning after closing since my messages to Bert and ...

This is my first home and I chose Lennar, but I will NEVER choose them again. My home buying experience was extremely poor from beginning to end. I started out by getting a realtor, and I would suggest a realtor for anyone, completed the paperwork portion and we went home shopping. I knew where I wanted to live so we went straight to Spring Grove. The Lennar representative,George, I first encountered seemed eager to help, but I quickly found out that he was not the rep for me; overbooking himself hours at a time and being really obtrusive. After several times of being late my realtor and I ...

The home was mostly finished by the time I had found it and submitted the application for it. Communication was an issue, making sure corrections were done correctly..were an issue. The whole home was basically covered in blue tape. Walls had super thin coat of paint, could see under it. The caulking was so bad, and even when they came to fix it, I had to correct the painter/caulker (same guy) on how to make it look neat and correct it while he was there. He also got paint on the carpet. While I was doing the 1st walk through, he came in and started paitning everything and removing the ...

Lennar is a company with a lot of staff for every moment of the buying process. They guide you step by step. But they push for the closing date, and YOU HAVE TO CLOSE, even when THE INSPECTION DETAILS ARE NOT FULLY ARRANGED. I bought almost 2 months ago, and they still haven't fixed MANY details of the roof, attic, water keys, etc.
