Happy with the affordability, we love our new home. As a homebuyer the process was good, we were able to complete all of our tasks with guidance from the Lennar team. We did have to advocate for our home in regard to "quick workmanship" and materials being overlooked. Construction materials were left in the plumbing, water heating, and cooling nozles were painted over, the floors have lifted/chipped pieces, with smudged with adhesive from installation, plumbing, and cabinet materials were missing, and the exterior of the house has built-up mortar on the concrete, and much of the caulking and texture was completed with a sloppy look. We are happy that Lennar is able to provide work orders on discrepancies we find in the home. We were contacted by many different Lennar team members with tasks, who would give us different information, we learned we needed to track who we spoke with and document everything in a paper trail. We wish it was just one person we work with who collaborates with the rest of the team because it felt overwhelming to have to turn the same documentation in to too many different Lennar team members. The Lennar realtor showed us the house, and that was the end of our experience with them, our personal realtor worked above and beyond to ensure our closing was as smooth as possible. Our closing date was delayed due to material not being available by about a month, which put us in a temporary bind, but Lennar was able to compensate for the inconvenience. From start to finish, nothing but the best! First time home buyer, 2 small hiccups but resolved without a hitch! My Home Advisor & Loan Officers, my Production Mgr, my Inspector, my Realtor and all those in between & at Closing, Thank you so much Team Lennar!! You Rock!!

The financing part of purchasing and closing was very smooth. My loan officer always answered the phone when I called and was efficient. My CSR that conducted the Home walkthrough was fantastic and got all my concerns addressed. The only feedback I have is some quality of the workmanship could be improved. It appears some aspects were rushed to completion which caused a lot of rework and/or repairs. Not sure if they have it, but quality checks and reviews throughout the build process (such as plumbing), and before a client walkthrough (painting, trim, fixtures, etc.) would avoid so much re-work and back and forth. With that being said, everything was swiftly addressed, it just resulted in more of my time taken. The only thing that inconvenienced me was I only got 20% of grass in my back yard. From being promised the wrong interest rate to having the closing date moved (not to mention several times) on the day of because of negligence from a laborer on sight. I would not recommend working with this specific San Antonio branch. The communication within Lennar was clearly poor and made the experience excruciating.

The salesmen were very helpful and walked us through everything we needed to know. When it came time for the walkthrough there were a few things that were promised to be fixed that never got done before we moved in. We have brought it up through email text and call for the past 2 months and still have had no one come by to fix the simple things they missed.

The buyer process was so many people involved, had to do too much coordination on my own. Too many different portals to do things in. Poor construction and was told “you can only call in 1-year warranty items all at once, only one time”. Never have heard that in any of my previous home buying experience. So, essentially, there is actually no warranty, if that’s the case. Can’t get a hold of the sales manager, she won’t return my calls conveniently AFTER I closed on the home. Hmmm…. Plus, on the warranty paperwork they ask you to sign after some work is done, there’s NO PLACE for notes - why would that be?? I’m not signing something that releases you of the fact that the tree you hit during the plumbing dig up could still die, and that would be on the builder to replace. It feels very…. “icky” and that Lennar is not interested in doing very honest business. I am in the industry as well, working for a direct competitor. I have shared with almost every executive in my organization how awful this process has been. Also, friends and family. Well first off the price was kinda steep, didn’t even get pre- plumbing for a water softener, no garage door opener not even ceiling fans for the owners suite or the living room. Then they just put together a wooden step in the back yard for when you walk out to the backyard, very cheap.

John our sales man was great to work with. The home and yard has had a lot of issues that should have not been over look during construction. The home is cheap in materials used.

During the process of purchasing my first home, it all started off really well. Once it started getting closer to the final close out date, I began having issues with the construction team. The first instance that occurred was me finding a crack pipe in the guest bathroom. Then there was a lot of rescheduling due to them leaving the house dirty and muddy. They also snapped my AT&T Fiber Cable when they were laying dirt for sod and failed to take accountability for it. So many instances that piled up on one another, but at least the finance team made up for the inconvenience of the Construction Team. ... More

Our home closing was pushed three times, home hadn't passed final city inspection yet when we moved in, sod work, when we finally got sod, is shoddy at best. The whole experience was terrible, and I wouldn't do it again or recommend it.

I encountered many issues during my entire home buying process. The only highlight was my original representative when I first visited the new subdivision. Most of my issues stemmed directly from my mortgage loan officer not responding to my messages, and even giving my wife and I the wrong loan number. I’m in a fortunate position where most of my coworkers are in the process of buying homes and am able to steer them away from Lennar.

Buying a house in this market is tough. We were thrilled to get the house and at the price we did. However, the loan process was pulling teeth to get anyone to respond. I sat at closing for 5 hours because they messed up paperwork and were not prepared. Our house is beautiful but they definitely cut corners on thing. We have random cement piles they tried covering up in the backyard, cabinet doors were put on the wrong direction. Cabinet under the kitchen sink completely fell off. The home was not cleaned as stated prior to move in and there is paint marks on our carpet. Overall we are happy to have a home but definitely will not buy Lennar again. ... More

The craftsmanship is poor it took multiple times to correct issues. So frustrating to say the least. It’s a new home, it shouldn’t be so hard to have a livable home. We’re two months in and have had to have repairs done. Insane really.

There was tons of confusion on closing dates and who was helping us with the home buying process. Once we closed and walked in the floors were still dirty and the place had not been cleaned. It wasn’t terrible but it could have been better.

We wish there was more support and clarity from the staff for various milestones. On closing we didn't get to experience anything special about our repeat purchase with Lennar.

Communication is key, we had some and then we didn’t. Although the process of providing paperwork was painful, it got done. As a veteran, there should be more support on the process on getting you tax exemptions submitted. After purchase, I want to commend Travis who has made the post sale awesome. Always ready to help resolve issues that come up. You should do something for him. A raise,or promotion?

This has been awful. I have submitted a complaint to corporate already regarding the experience. We were lied to. Pressured. Lied to some more. Not given proper communication. Pretty positive we have retaliation from the sales and construction managers. No one has contacted us and we will be contacting the Better Business Bureau because of the lack of care.

First of all we are so happy we found this hidden gem in Hill Country. We drive into the community at the recommendation of a realtor from Johnson Ranch. We met Debby at the models. Debby took us out to look at some homes that were being built. We found one with an amazing view out back. Not only did we get the home for a fair price, they paid all closing costs and paid down the interest rate. Although some of the craft mens ship was a little concern, all issues were resolved prior to move in. We could t be happier here. We love all of our new neighbors and our community here. The amenities are great with the pools, gym, basketball and parks. Thank you for making our home our new slice of Heaven! ... More

We bought our Lennar home recently, we did the blue tape walk through yet most of what we taped off was never taken care of. We were told that the paint on our windows would be gone as well and that we would get the extra screens we were missing which didn’t happen until recently paint still there and the screens don’t fit. We have had some issues with the way our laundry closet was set up by the builders we put in a ticket and the plumber who came out flat out said he wouldn’t take care of it even though it was their company that messed it up. We also had some flooring lift up and two kids came in with gorilla glue and “fixed” the flooring… a few issues have been fixed but for the most part it’s been a joke none the less. We had a great experience with the responsiveness of all the Lennar people we interacted with. We have bought and built many homes over the years and this was the best overall experience with any builder that we have had.

Absolutely horrible buying experience for my first time buying a home. The list could go on but just know I would never recommend a Lennar home to anyone and I will never purchase one again.
