We wish there was more support and clarity from the staff for various milestones. On closing we didn't get to experience anything special about our repeat purchase with Lennar.

Communication is key, we had some and then we didn’t. Although the process of providing paperwork was painful, it got done. As a veteran, there should be more support on the process on getting you tax exemptions submitted. After purchase, I want to commend Travis who has made the post sale awesome. Always ready to help resolve issues that come up. You should do something for him. A raise,or promotion?

This has been awful. I have submitted a complaint to corporate already regarding the experience. We were lied to. Pressured. Lied to some more. Not given proper communication. Pretty positive we have retaliation from the sales and construction managers. No one has contacted us and we will be contacting the Better Business Bureau because of the lack of care.

First of all we are so happy we found this hidden gem in Hill Country. We drive into the community at the recommendation of a realtor from Johnson Ranch. We met Debby at the models. Debby took us out to look at some homes that were being built. We found one with an amazing view out back. Not only did we get the home for a fair price, they paid all closing costs and paid down the interest rate. Although some of the craft mens ship was a little concern, all issues were resolved prior to move in. We could t be happier here. We love all of our new neighbors and our community here. We bought our Lennar home recently, we did the blue tape walk through yet most of what we taped off was never taken care of. We were told that the paint on our windows would be gone as well and that we would get the extra screens we were missing which didn’t happen until recently paint still there and the screens don’t fit. We have had some issues with the way our laundry closet was set up by the builders we put in a ticket and the plumber who came out flat out said he wouldn’t take care of it even though it was their company that messed it up. We also had some flooring lift up and two kids came in with gorilla glue and “fixed” the flooring… a few issues have been fixed but for the most part it’s been a joke none the less. I’m thankful for our home and the price we paid just dissatisfied with the way Lennar handles things. ... More

We had a great experience with the responsiveness of all the Lennar people we interacted with. We have bought and built many homes over the years and this was the best overall experience with any builder that we have had.

Absolutely horrible buying experience for my first time buying a home. The list could go on but just know I would never recommend a Lennar home to anyone and I will never purchase one again.

Process was not what I expected. Got a lot of push back from agents. It’s been 45 days and I still have not gotten the grass installed.

The process was fine except for the closing date being pushed so many times i almost lost hope. But that kind of thing is expected.

Being a first time home buyer, I wasn’t familiar with the process of purchasing a home. The information required was understandable since it’s a large purchase however it was time consuming and extremely detailed. Once that was complete I thought the worst part is over. I was wrong. One week prior to signing my papers I was told it needed to be extended, I understood. The second part, I was told that the home I was purchasing (which was completed except for minor details) was inspected and it was valued at about 13K more that I was paying. I was told I needed to pay that difference. At this point I understood the price was set, as well as my down payment and monthly mortgage. I couldn’t afford to pay this amount. I was then told what can I pay and I stated I couldn’t afford anymore. The agent stated he would contact the area president and would explain why I couldn’t pay the full amount but was able to pay an additional 1K. I was told of this offer was declined, I wouldn’t be moving into my home. I was upset, and was ready to give up. After a couple of days I was informed my offer was accepted and I’d be receiving a final overview of my down payment and the other details involved. Upon reviewing my documents I noticed that they increased my down payment by 6K more. This was the third time my down payment was increased. I was pretty upset. I was explained why, which was something that was previously discussed with an agreement and solution. My overall experience was horrible and I feel somewhere in this process someone messed up and tried to get me to pay for the mistake. Disappointed and wouldn’t recommend. Now I’m moved and it’s been more issues, such as my A/C and electrical issues that apparently are not up to code. I signed my papers latter part of March and moved first week in April and still dealing with electrical issue. ... More

Low quality of products used to sell fast, lack of great customer service, no responsibility to fix items prior to sell forcing customers to close without options

Nice easy to close worth a good look

Overall well built. Parking one's vehicle backwards is important on steep driveways. The Bristol home plan with the stack-able washer and dryer only closet requires more than an 8 ft dryer duct hose, in order for the installer to be able to get out without disconnecting the tube from over stretch. House is cozy with great acoustics. One of the bath tubs had rust stains. Won't come out. In closing, I do appreciate V taking the time and effort in finding me a home quickly!

The paint peals off. I have a couple doors that really need to be changed and I’ve already submitted a request and had the virtual meeting but nothing. On almost all cabinets the screws were pushed in too deeply that they cracked the wood. Almost all screws. The paint is the most disappointing because I’ll have to repaint EVERYTHING.

Home has a lot of issues to fix, starting and not limited to essential things as foundation, flooring and walls. Communication has been overall decent, however follow ups has been completed due to some of the first issues reported are still pending. At this time, after 2 months of bought the house, several items to fix are pending.

You'll spend most of the process chasing people for answers, and then you might also get verbally abused by at least 1 Lennar representative. Our initial disclosures were sent within hours of the 3 day requirement passing. We were told that they would extend our closing date (due to reasons on our end), if we paid an additional $3K on the price of our home. They then proceeded to extend the closing date further due to workmanship issues. When we inquired about the additional $3K being removed since now the delays were not due to anything on our end, I was berated by a Lennar manager to the point that I was in tears. He used it all: gas-lighting, guilt-tripping, criticism, etc. My husband took over conversations and also received this treatment. By the end of the conversation, he was assured that while the $3K couldn't be removed, our home would be perfect prior to closing. One major concern of ours was that our kitchen island was more than an inch off from one end to the other, causing it to look obviously crooked. This manager assured my husband that he would see to this being fixed himself. We performed our initial walkthough and the issue hadn't been touched. The warranty representative confirmed the issue was documented both in our inspection and had received attention from management and would be resolved. We get to our final walkthrough, the issue was still not fixed. At the same time, we begin getting pressuring calls from their lender that we need to close the next day or we risk getting charged a fee for each day after. It's crazy to think that they want to haphazardly plan a closing date and give us no time to plan time off from work. You'd think they'd want us to have time to appropriately plan so that we keep our jobs to pay the mortgage we're acquiring. With so little time to plan, my husband and I had to sign for our first home separately. In the end, we were so worn out from the chasing, berating, and pressuring that we decided that we would deal with the island issue ourselves. We are still finding issues that we can only hope they will resolve within our first year living here. If other homes in our area weren't going for so much more than the one's in our neighborhood, we would've went a different route. We'll be sure to be ready to pay more next time instead of working with the shady and unprofessional people that Lennar chooses to employ. ... More

Too much negative parts to highlight. I would just say construction quality and customer service poor

I absolutely love my tiny home! Of course there will always be issues because it’s a new build. Just a few things… 1. The fire alarms are way too high to reach even with a ladder. My father got up on a ladder and he could barely touch the one in the living room. 2. I love the lighting in the house however can’t reach them to replace the bulbs and apparently I have to rent a certain tool to take off the cover so I can replace the light bulb. 3. The grass, I have a long backyard. I only got 20 ft from the back of the house that is covered with grass. The rest of my backyard is bare with dirt and weeds. That’s unattractive. 4. The standing shower could have used a few more feet, on all sides. 5. What’s with the virtual repair. I totally get help training the home owner to be self sufficient but if the house is under a one year warranty I expected a little bit more than virtual repair. The repairs are quick, but because of the virtual part it lengthens the repair process within days. Other than that! I love my tiny home. ... More

The Lennar portals were easy to use and navigate. The sales people and agents were very friendly and ready to answer any questions I had. My favorite part though, is how responsive Lennar is to post-sales complaints or issues. They always have a service rep that reaches back out to you and they can get most issues reported resolved within a few days. For example, I discovered a crack in the wall behind the toilet and two days later someone showed up to fix it. This was 5 weeks after sale date.

I would never in my life recommend buying a home with Lennar to my worst enemy. From the sales rep, Orin, being so uniformative and having horrible communication. I actually lost out on the same house I purchased that couldve been $20,000 less but in the middle of signing and trying to pay earnest money Orin stopped responding and we lost the house. I've never even met the "man" in person. We were never told about the ONLY 20ft of grass and found out on our final walk through with no option to add more. Next headache I suffered was Natasha W in the loan or mortgage side. Absolutely repulsive behavior by yelling at my fiance on the phone with our realtor also on the phone. Natasha and Orin made this experience a 1/10 solely by themselves. But if we had to add more I would also tell you how reckless, careless, and lazy, the construction crew is. Our house was near completion and we found cigarettes all throughout our (pretty much finished) home. Beer bottles in the bath tub. Holes busted in the walls. Putty smeared on the livingroom windows. And yes we have photos of all of this and we did send them into the construction manager and it took a few times of us complaining and explaining that this is our home and we deserve to have a little respect shown. This was the absolute worst experience I could have ever imagined how a first time home buying would be. We have so many friends that love this neighborhood and were looking to buy in guadalupe heights and we turned them away to save them headache heartache and misery. I am so happy with the home I purchased with Lennar, the team that helped me were so awesome and genuine. My loan officers Adam and Rick were very helpful and guided me through the entire process. Very happy and glad I chose to but with Lennar.

Great home buying experience. This was my first time purchasing a home. Lennar took out the stress and worry through the entire process. They kept me in the loop every step of the way. I will definitely be recommending Lennar to my circle of people I know.

There's a lock of pride in the quality of the workmanship. Very dirty home upon closing. Random nails sticking out of home and poor masonry job. I inherited projects in this new home to fix up what wasn't done. Garage has holes cut into sheetrock for the garage door. Just looks tacky. Floorplan is amazing, yard was fully sodded and beautiful. Customer service rep did an amazing job getting our punch sheet done in our walkthrough! I'd defiantly work with her again, she was on our side in this process!!
