As a first time homebuyer I was excited for the process and now I’m upset and disappointed with the whole thing and wish I didn’t buy the house now since moving in the home I have had 5 issues, and the biggest problem was a leak leak and garbage disposal leaking watering all under the sink and let not talk about the voucher they provide that you can’t even use,, The dishonesty and the communication here sucks

Great services, keep up the great work

Customer service was fantastic from everyone except the construction landscaping person ( Eric). He said he had corrected everything pointed out during the walk through but then when we would go check it wasn't. He is the only person who we were very disappointed with. He did that more than once. He said it was done and it wasn't.

Once you pay, they no longer prioritize your concerns.

We had a great experience from the very beginning of this process, to the end now where we have any warranty issues. Lavida was very professional and quick to help us find something, Trisha, Mel, and Toni were so kind and responsive when it came to our mortgage. On the back end, Jordan and Lorena have been truly outstanding with getting our warranty issues fixed.

I was really excited to buy my first ever home but after the experience I’ve had with LENNAR I would have chosen differently. The experience I had with the mortgage team started off very rough and I experienced very poor communication and errors with the loan officer. I wanted to get a new home expecting that I would not have many issues however since moving in, that’s all I’ve had. Not to mention the cleanliness of the home upon move in was just unacceptable. I have spent days on my hands and knees scrubbing floors clean and covering many holes where caulking was missing to avoid pests. I would not buy LENNAR again nor would I recommend them. The positive thing about LENNAR is that they take the warranty claims seriously and they reach out pretty quickly to get things resolved. Sales person was great and responsive. Quality of work was poor, responsiveness from construction team was poor. After closing for over 6 weeks we have not had sod on our yard. We financed through Lennar and they later sold the loan to a different company. Shortly after the loan was sold, my wife and I both experienced identity theft, where we both had letters stating that credit cards were applied for by us that we were not aware of. We are very careful with not sharing private information and have not applied for credit cards in over 5 years. Some credit cards were approved and had thousands of dollars charged to the cards that we did not open. ... More

The builders of our home didn’t really take pride in their work. Door latches do not engage properly, outside siding nails created problems both for cable installation, and with water heater pipes. Lennar is short staffed so getting issues fixed or repaired before closing was problematic

After I moved in took long for grass to be put on the yard and had to many issues on the walls you could see screws and pilling house started shifting just stuff that should not happen on a new home that cost and paid a lot of money

My wife and me are entering our 2nd month of ownership and I can only give 3 stars for overall satisfaction. I feel the title I've given this post is correct. First, Lennar's advertising for their homes is very misleading. The Web Site claims you get everything you need at move-in You Do Not. Not to give anything away but I paid over $270 thousand for our home and It Did Not even come with towel racks in the bathrooms nor did it come with lighting over the vanities. You would think for that price these small amenities would be standard. They are not. This alone should give you ,the potential buyer, what you are in for with a Lennar home. This home is my 8th home I've purchased in my life, in every case the home I bought had a refrigerator and microwave, this Lennar home Did Not. Profit over Quality should be the Lennar motto. Bought a few homes before and have never experience such poor workmanship and quality of products used. No quality control such sloppiness in painting and concrete work. No one wants to take accountability for the poor workmanship. I needs some items fixed but do not trust that the issues would look or be fixed any better than they do now.

One of the worst experiences of my 63 years.

I was interested in checking out a home and that same day I had a appointment with Chris the housing consultant and he showed me what was available and we found our forever home and used my VA loan which was easier than I thought and we were able to move in just over a month later with no issues and the good thing about Lennar is everything is streamlined and in house for the most part so no issues and they respond back quick when you have questions. A 10/10, I would def use them again and was so affordable compared to other builders!

The landscaping company they use will damage your property and not notify you, if the grass you receive is dead, expect no hear back from the property manager. The pool is hardly ever cleaned so you'll have to do that on your own especially if others have a big party the night before and leave glass, vomit, trash and rocks thrown everywhere, even in the water.

Happy with the affordability, we love our new home. As a homebuyer the process was good, we were able to complete all of our tasks with guidance from the Lennar team. We did have to advocate for our home in regard to "quick workmanship" and materials being overlooked. Construction materials were left in the plumbing, water heating, and cooling nozles were painted over, the floors have lifted/chipped pieces, with smudged with adhesive from installation, plumbing, and cabinet materials were missing, and the exterior of the house has built-up mortar on the concrete, and much of the caulking and texture was completed with a sloppy look. We are happy that Lennar is able to provide work orders on discrepancies we find in the home. We were contacted by many different Lennar team members with tasks, who would give us different information, we learned we needed to track who we spoke with and document everything in a paper trail. We wish it was just one person we work with who collaborates with the rest of the team because it felt overwhelming to have to turn the same documentation in to too many different Lennar team members. The Lennar realtor showed us the house, and that was the end of our experience with them, our personal realtor worked above and beyond to ensure our closing was as smooth as possible. Our closing date was delayed due to material not being available by about a month, which put us in a temporary bind, but Lennar was able to compensate for the inconvenience. From start to finish, nothing but the best! First time home buyer, 2 small hiccups but resolved without a hitch! My Home Advisor & Loan Officers, my Production Mgr, my Inspector, my Realtor and all those in between & at Closing, Thank you so much Team Lennar!! You Rock!!

The financing part of purchasing and closing was very smooth. My loan officer always answered the phone when I called and was efficient. My CSR that conducted the Home walkthrough was fantastic and got all my concerns addressed. The only feedback I have is some quality of the workmanship could be improved. It appears some aspects were rushed to completion which caused a lot of rework and/or repairs. Not sure if they have it, but quality checks and reviews throughout the build process (such as plumbing), and before a client walkthrough (painting, trim, fixtures, etc.) would avoid so much re-work and back and forth. With that being said, everything was swiftly addressed, it just resulted in more of my time taken. The only thing that inconvenienced me was I only got 20% of grass in my back yard. From being promised the wrong interest rate to having the closing date moved (not to mention several times) on the day of because of negligence from a laborer on sight. I would not recommend working with this specific San Antonio branch. The communication within Lennar was clearly poor and made the experience excruciating.

The salesmen were very helpful and walked us through everything we needed to know. When it came time for the walkthrough there were a few things that were promised to be fixed that never got done before we moved in. We have brought it up through email text and call for the past 2 months and still have had no one come by to fix the simple things they missed.

The buyer process was so many people involved, had to do too much coordination on my own. Too many different portals to do things in. Poor construction and was told “you can only call in 1-year warranty items all at once, only one time”. Never have heard that in any of my previous home buying experience. So, essentially, there is actually no warranty, if that’s the case. Can’t get a hold of the sales manager, she won’t return my calls conveniently AFTER I closed on the home. Hmmm…. Plus, on the warranty paperwork they ask you to sign after some work is done, there’s NO PLACE for notes - why would that be?? I’m not signing something that releases you of the fact that the tree you hit during the plumbing dig up could still die, and that would be on the builder to replace. It feels very…. “icky” and that Lennar is not interested in doing very honest business. I am in the industry as well, working for a direct competitor. I have shared with almost every executive in my organization how awful this process has been. Also, friends and family. KB and Pacesetter knocked it out of the park during my time with both of them. ... More
