They treat you based on what you buy!

When we bought, I didn’t hear from my sales person at all. They never cleaned the home before giving the keys. I had to go in and clean before I could move in. They never showed me how to change the filter in the attic. They are not good about fixing things. I finally gave up and are fixing things on my own. And finally, what kind of home builders don’t give you screens for windows??? I had to MAKE them on my own! Look at other builders before buying unless you plans to spend A LOT!

I have had the worst experience ever. My home was not even ready to move into when I moved it. It has still yet to be cleaned. There is still blue tape on on damaged of my house that were never repaired even after multiple phone calls. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER LENNAR HOME. I will do my time living in this house and can’t wait to sell it and move. There is nails sticking out of the all where my kids play. After repeatedly asking even in my blue tape walk for it to be taken care it wasn’t. That is insane! Adam the gentleman that helped me through the financing is great!

From the Lennar using unskilled labor for cheap overhead cost to work. To their money grabbing hoa. Lennar has succeeded all expectations of failing to do the simple things by cutting corners, radius, and diameters in the quality of building homes. There is not enough space in this box to write down all the deficiencies.

These are NOT homes!!!!!! They are just houses built by contractors that have no pride in workmanship! Would not recommend this builder.

Lennar - There was a lot of back and forth between what Lennar should/should

There was a lot of back and forth between what Lennar should/should not be doing for their customer. This led to some animosity at times, however nothing was ever asked of Lennar that should not have been handled without even asking. Overall, for the most part things were completed before I moved in.

Workmanship of the home could have been much better not so impress on how it was put together. Found to many defects backyard could have been leveled much better etc. Eagle Mortage office set me up for failure, informing and was written on my contract that HOA was paid monthly then I get a bill from spectrum stating I had a balance and a late payment fee added to my bill of $40. Spectrum has informed me HOA is paid annually. This could have been avoided if I was given proper instructions. Eaglemortage should be liable for the late fee, since I was not at fault. Communication with the buyer ...

I purchased my home by the help of a virtual assistant (young eyes) and showed it was spacious, had a nice yard and the price range was good, but little did I know after moving, that this home was not meant for seniors/retirees due to the fact in order to replace the a/c filter you would need to pull down a step ladder, adjust it to secure it’s locked then climb up to the attic in order to replace the a/c filter. It’s just a matter of time before an accident occurs. There are drafts from the doors and windows, you can see the caulk is cracking by the walls of the kitchen counter. if I had ...

This is the 3rd Lennar home we have purchased. The first two homes were well built, the purchase process was easy and the limited warranty work was done well. This time the process was much more stressful. First, we were not allowed to use our Realtor due to some rule that we had used a different one with Lennar in the past. This made the process much more difficult for us. Second strike was the inability of our sales person to respond to us. Once we signed the contract, we were dead to her. After the sale, the person who was supposed to be a liason would never answer calls and always ...

Very surreal experience

The overall experience was on par with most mid-range builders. The one strange item and I wasn't told about this until we were getting ready to move in. Was that the window screens were not included. For an entire house of half screens is less than $300. It's very strange for a home that's almost $300,000 to not include the screens.

Make sure you ask what color your house is going to be. Didn't know I needed to ask what the color of my house was going to be painted, my bad for assuming they painted houses in neutral colors, which are more versatile. I wasn't shown what the color scheme was going to be so you don't really have any options to choose, it seemed it was either you buy it or someone else will. The construction manager is very responsive and hardworking, kudos to him

I was told that I didn’t need a realtor and that the process would be easy. But has a first time home buyer, there were things that was not explain to me. Such as, when first looking at homes, I was shown 3 different floor plans. Only one floor plan was explained on what came with the home “the package”. When shown the next two home nothin was explained, so I assumed all homes came with blinds, full sod, and irrigation. Additionally, my home concierge was hard to get a hold to and didn’t respond at times with my questions. Furthermore, my loan officer was asked by me to go over fees and the ...

Dealing with loan officer and title were such a pain. Poor performance, wanted evidence for everything just in case it won’t qualify and at the end it was all unnecessary paperwork. My home was finished and still needed to get clear. On this crazy sellers market. Cheap materials, poor quality of craftsmanship. Better off to go with a better builder. Lesson learned.

The home is fine, the purchase process was a nightmare

The process of purchasing my home was a nightmare. Lennar is far to compartmentalized, there were something like 6 different points of contact depending on what you had a question or concern about, The salesperson was pushy and told me outright lies in attempts to expedite the process - "If you don't sign today, you risk losing the favorable interest rate" was a good one. When pressed with an answer to how much time I had to sign, he dodged the question and just moved on to other subjects. The guy came off like a sleazy used car salesman. Every one else involved in the process was pleasant ...

This is our second home bought from Lenner Homes. We expected much because of our previous experience in home buying with them. This time around, the quality fell quite a bit. The communication and coordination between the Lennar team is so bad it seems like they have not worked together at all. Everything seemed rushed including the quality of the home and the process itself. As an example, on the first home we were interested in, we filled in all requirements and was half hour away from providing the earnest money with all paper works "all good" according to Lennar finance. Buying a house in this market is tough. We were thrilled to get the house and at the price we did. However, the loan process was pulling teeth to get anyone to respond. I sat at closing for 5 hours because they messed up paperwork and were not prepared. Our house is beautiful but they definitely cut corners on thing. We have random cement piles they tried covering up in the backyard, cabinet doors were put on the wrong direction. Cabinet under the kitchen sink completely fell off. The home was not cleaned as stated prior to move in and there is paint marks on our carpet. Overall we are happy ...

Picking the house and putting the down payment was easy and getting financing wasn't hard for me. Then I was met with an extreme escrow office that accused me of being an investor because I have multiple houses. So, I canceled contract, I thought about it for a day and the house was a good deal, so I went back and did everything all over again, just to be told no by the same escrow officer. I got another lender and closed within 30 days without issue. I took me almost 3 months to buy this house all because the assumption of me being something I am not.

Honestly it was one of the most horrible experiences ever done. The buying process was very unprofessional since they keep on changing the closing day and while me and my family already left the place we used to live at. I’m a disabled Veteran so I thought I will be a little easier for me to move into my new house but this was just a nightmare. The house was not even clean, some things were damaged and the response from the inspector is just not working for me so I ended up doing the cleaning and fixing with my wife for over two weeks.
