Jaime was great to work with during the buying process. At closing, there were many items that needed correction like painting, wrong windows, landscape issues etc. I was working with Brian, the construction manager for our home. I had to keep reaching out to get him to come check out the issues. He came multiple times to inspect the same things. Weeks would go by without follow-up. Landscape was addressed poorly weeks later. It’s been almost 2 months since our last communication. I still have the wrong windows in my bathroom, among other things. I’d like to give zero stars because of ...

You would think paying almost $400,000 for a house it’d come dang near perfect but not the case at all. MULTIPLE major and minor issues, many that were listed off to be fixed before our move in date that were not. Bubbles in the drywall (ceilings and walls), crooked outlets, windows, door knobs, doors not latching, towel bar falling out of drywall, all hot water was running out of the cold side and vice versa, bathtub leak in spare bathroom, chips in the tile. Very poor quality. Not to mention the amount of trash we have blow into our yard daily due to the careless workers not being able to ...

I would not buy from Lennar again.

I understand the homes are affordable and you get what you pay for, however I would have gladly paid a bit more to get a complete house. I only got sod in half of my yard, after closing I had to constantly follow up to get the sod installed. The fence has no warranty and it’s already falling apart, there is no faucet in the backyard. I also found the builders fee in the contract sneaky, I noticed the fee but I bet many buyers don’t. Overall I regret buying a Lennar home.

Lennar is extremely low end. They pinch pennies and do not build any part of the house with quality. There will be glue on the floor, chipped sinks, sheetrock lining hanging out with staples showing, no spicket in the backyard for a hose (who doesnt put water in the front and back?!?!

I have had the worst experience ever. My home was not even ready to move into when I moved it. It has still yet to be cleaned. There is still blue tape on on damaged of my house that were never repaired even after multiple phone calls. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER LENNAR HOME. I will do my time living in this house and can’t wait to sell it and move. There is nails sticking out of the all where my kids play. After repeatedly asking even in my blue tape walk for it to be taken care it wasn’t. That is insane! Adam the gentleman that helped me through the financing is great!

From the Lennar using unskilled labor for cheap overhead cost to work. To their money grabbing hoa. Lennar has succeeded all expectations of failing to do the simple things by cutting corners, radius, and diameters in the quality of building homes. There is not enough space in this box to write down all the deficiencies.

Since we moved in we have been having problems after problems. Everytime I call to place a warranty work order there always seem to be a long wait time no one answer phone calls. I have emergency problems and no one came out to help. I had water line bust and was told it’s not an emergency and the list countinues on and on.

As a first time homebuyer I was excited for the process and now I’m upset and disappointed with the whole thing and wish I didn’t buy the house now since moving in the home I have had 5 issues, and the biggest problem was a leak leak and garbage disposal leaking watering all under the sink and let not talk about the voucher they provide that you can’t even use,, The dishonesty and the communication here sucks

Bought a few homes before and have never experience such poor workmanship and quality of products used. No quality control such sloppiness in painting and concrete work. No one wants to take accountability for the poor workmanship. I needs some items fixed but do not trust that the issues would look or be fixed any better than they do now.

If there were a no star available for some categories, I would have put zero stars. On paper, an inspection was done but the mistakes missed during the “inspection” indicate nothing short of negligence. After two months, I am still dealing with Lennar mistakes and losing days waiting for workers who either don’t show or don’t complete the job. The lack of communication between Lennar and contractors only adds to the problems. Just today a worker was supposed to show and here I sit. Even contacting Lennar about the no show is getting no response. Lennar needs to address these very ...

The building staff will ask you to give a great review because their jobs are on the line. I felt sorry for them. Also, they sell your mortgage as soon as the ink dries on your contract. The new company hasn’t paid taxes or HOA fees. My advice: don’t do it

The lack of communication - such as never telling us when you wanted us to pay the energy bill (even though we had been asking you and the energy company). So ins instead, our home lost power. Thankfully we were home and could rectify it immediately, but as a military family, imagine if we weren't? Food isn't cheap these days.

When we bought, I didn’t hear from my sales person at all. They never cleaned the home before giving the keys. I had to go in and clean before I could move in. They never showed me how to change the filter in the attic. They are not good about fixing things. I finally gave up and are fixing things on my own. And finally, what kind of home builders don’t give you screens for windows??? I had to MAKE them on my own! Look at other builders before buying unless you plans to spend A LOT!

Lennar - There was a lot of back and forth between what Lennar should/should

There was a lot of back and forth between what Lennar should/should not be doing for their customer. This led to some animosity at times, however nothing was ever asked of Lennar that should not have been handled without even asking. Overall, for the most part things were completed before I moved in.

Disappointed!!

I purchased my home by the help of a virtual assistant (young eyes) and showed it was spacious, had a nice yard and the price range was good, but little did I know after moving, that this home was not meant for seniors/retirees due to the fact in order to replace the a/c filter you would need to pull down a step ladder, adjust it to secure it’s locked then climb up to the attic in order to replace the a/c filter. It’s just a matter of time before an accident occurs. There are drafts from the doors and windows, you can see the caulk is cracking by the walls of the kitchen counter. if I had ...

Bad sales, good post sale

This is the 3rd Lennar home we have purchased. The first two homes were well built, the purchase process was easy and the limited warranty work was done well. This time the process was much more stressful. First, we were not allowed to use our Realtor due to some rule that we had used a different one with Lennar in the past. This made the process much more difficult for us. Second strike was the inability of our sales person to respond to us. Once we signed the contract, we were dead to her. After the sale, the person who was supposed to be a liason would never answer calls and always ...

The home is fine, the purchase process was a nightmare

The process of purchasing my home was a nightmare. Lennar is far to compartmentalized, there were something like 6 different points of contact depending on what you had a question or concern about, The salesperson was pushy and told me outright lies in attempts to expedite the process - "If you don't sign today, you risk losing the favorable interest rate" was a good one. When pressed with an answer to how much time I had to sign, he dodged the question and just moved on to other subjects. The guy came off like a sleazy used car salesman. Every one else involved in the process was pleasant ...
