Not non internet friendly

I had to have 3 blue tapes, using more than 1 roll each time, these issues for the most part are still not fixed. The process is very difficult for someone who lives in an area where the internet is not available. Supposedly I was supposed to be provided with a packet at closing, which I did not receive. Also, another packet was supposed to be emailed to me, which I did not receive. So I'm having a hard time finding out who to contact for different issues. I thought I would have internet when I moved in, but the line was clogged, I finally have it after 4 weeks of living here. I ...

Our First & Last Lennar Home

You'll spend most of the process chasing people for answers, and then you might also get verbally abused by at least 1 Lennar representative. Our initial disclosures were sent within hours of the 3 day requirement passing. We were told that they would extend our closing date (due to reasons on our end), if we paid an additional $3K on the price of our home. They then proceeded to extend the closing date further due to workmanship issues. When we inquired about the additional $3K being removed since now the delays were not due to anything on our end, I was berated by a Lennar manager to the ...

Model home of course will always look perfect to bring in buyers but once you get your home they will avoid issues with house , I was anxious n wanted in ASAP but counter is still bothering me and I don’t think all house are built that way but like I said , I wanted to move in already and tired of waiting . I closed Jan 2021 and here I am end of May 2021 and back door STILL is not fixed by now needs to be replaced because of they’re 3 trips out they STILL cannot do right by me. The new homeowner of a NEW HOME. This has put a thorn in my home buying experience with Lennar

Poor workmanship and ZERO follow up

Sales experience was great. The construction managers have been horrible, do not do what they say they are going to do and have zero follow up, I have over 15 hollow tiles in my house that I’ve been trying to get fixed for almost 6 months. I’m still missing parts to my cabinets. Worst construction management team I have ever dealt with.
Lennar responded:
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I'm sorry for any delays or miscommunication you may have experienced in getting your tiles addressed. Please send us an email to corporatecustomercare@lennar.com with your address and contact information so we can get this addressed for you.

Wouldn't Buy Lennar Home Again
- Gregory B.

The homes are built as fast as they can with little care for quality work and it shows. They don't care about working with the buyers and threaten to charge them if the closing date has to be moved because we couldn't make the NHO even though they knew we couldn't make from the beginning. The flooring was put in and it is all wavy and covered in glue and has to be ripped out and redone. We showed up the day we closed and there was trash all over the place and after a month of requesting it get cleaned up I was told no one was going to clean it up so I had to clean it up. The construction ...

Build Quality is a 2/10, and that’s being generous. They cut corners and use the cheapest options available. Communication is often short and their staff will not give you a concrete answer about any issues. The contractors leave out a lot of trash, food, and building materials, and when it blows into your yard or property area, they do not care and do not clean it up. The sod/grass they gave our entire community was dead upon arrival and it took them over a month to deliver it when it was supposed to be delivered 5-12 days after closing. Our home was not cleaned prior to our arrival; it had ...

The only good experience from working with Lennar was our salesman Jarrett. Any time we had a question he would respond immediately respond. Our build was delayed by 5 months which I do not blame Lennar…that was Covid. A week before we moved in we had so many issues and were told by Eddie and the contractor Ming would be fixed before we moved in….a month in new house and nothing was done..had to do warranty claims. Cheap appliances, poor customer service.

I would not recommend Lennar. Closing was such a hassle. They pushed my closing date four times. When I closed the house still wasn’t fully complete. They did a horrible job communicating to keep myself abreast throughout the process.

The absolutely lack of pride in work.
- Zacquery M.

The workmanship in our home is that of random people doing random tasks they are not competent in. So many little things all over the home. The floors have gaps in some slats and non in the other. The trim work could have been done better by my 8 year old son and he has absolutely no carpentry skills. The answer to every and all mistakes was smearing caulking all over the home. Our back yard constantly floods and holds water from the rain and or neighbors sprinklers. The lack of proper runoff and drainage is ridiculous. If I could rate zero stars I would especially on workmanship and quality.
Lennar responded:
Hello Zacquery, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We want to apologize for the long list of items un-addressed throughout your home. We have had problems after problems and then are never contacted again. And when we make contact again we are told they will be there to fix something soon and then they don’t fix it. The few things they have “fixed” are then shortly after broken again. I absolutely do not recommend.

Never meet sales associate, never had the immensities explain to me, was never told how to acquire the amenities. now at the closing the notary spent more time with me than Lennar’sl closing agent. The notary had no answers for any of my questions. When lennar’s closing agent finally arrived she could not answer questions that I had , probably into a bigger hurry to go to lunch. Now the house well prepared but lacked attention to the small details therefore I rate the house a 3.5 out a 5

Terrible experience, first time home buyer. Our realtor was shocked and surprised, a lot of first for her. Weeks with out any info or communication, to then have these abrupt request. This and this needed within 48 hours. Every step of the way was a hassle and a pain. Even closing was a hassle. Home is great but the buying process was horrible. To the point that gave me second thoughts of purchasing.

I knew coming into this that buying a house can be stressful but it definitely could be better with the right help. When i went to see the house Ana was good, however the second i was moved to lennar mortgage the nightmare began, the loan officer Wesley he eas good at the beginning, then there was a LOT of miscommunication, changes of information and to make it worse to be honest i felt i was gaslighted towards the end, putting me in a position where i had no choice but to buy. The process of buying the home was not a smooth purchase at all. Our Lennar rep put us in a bind even though we had brought up the issues in advance. The construction crew left a mess on the exterior so I was having to pick up paneling boards and other materials that were left behind. I wear braces on both legs so struggled to bend over to pick up heavy paneling. They did not level out the top soil before putting the sod down and we had asked for this. We were told a cleaning crew would clean the interior but on the day we finally got our keys, the house was still dirty. Paint and glue stains ...

Avoid this place like the plague. The only smooth thing about the buying process was dealing with the finance/mortage department (the people who take your money. Go figure.) It is also usually a dump as they don’t make the contractors clean up after themselves. It was pretty bad before enough residents complained to force their hand. This developer has been a headache from the start. I started the initial paperwork on Thursday 01/18/24 around roughly 9pm. My walkthrough was then scheduled for Friday 01/26. I contacted a 3rd party inspector on 01/20 to complete an inspection on 1/26 a few ...
