I must of dealt with 8 different employees when I had a real estate agent. I did all the work of the agent. Talking to 8 different people is not only confusing it was hard to hold anyone accountable for the mistakes.

The only good part of of this process was from the loan and title personally our home concierge Jose terrible terrible terrible all you guys did was take advantage of a young military family thinking we were stupid cause our age and cause we were officially here in San Antonio yet as well as his boss who called and blamed us for the problems we had in our home because we hired a third party inspector and her word i quote “ Lennar is a faster moving company then anyone else so with you hire a third party inspector it pro longs if and cause the issues you are having” basically because they ...

1. We expected Lennar would install top soil and follow SAWS guidelines when planting it, as Paul Canyon is served by SAWS. Instead, in less than 48 hours, our grass died although we watered it following SAWS rules. 2. Lennar sales representative sold us the house assuring us that the sod would be planted to the fence and later we found out that was not the case. She either misinformed us or plainly lied.

Lennar responded:
Good afternoon, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are sorry to hear we did not meet your expectations regarding the sod. If there are any warrantable issues or questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to your local customer care team by submitting an online request through your Lennar Account. This ensures your request is documented and prioritized for a quicker resolution.Sincerely, Lennar Corporate Customer Care

Zero communication. Lack of care in blue tape walkthroughs, unprofessional staff (ESPECIALLY at the Lennar regional level), shoddy craftsmanship. I can especially observe this watching all of the other houses get built around me in Guadalupe Heights in Seguin. Trash getting blown all around, builders trying to steal packages off my front porch, dirt and debris in the road. I will always tell people to avoid Lennar at all costs. Cutting corners should be Lennar’s slogan.

Lennar responded:
Hi, thank you for taking the time to write this review. We are sorry to hear about the issues you have experienced with your own home, as well as the ongoing construction in Guadalupe Heights. The Customer Care team will follow-up with the local leadership to make them aware of these concerns.

Sales person was great and responsive. Quality of work was poor, responsiveness from construction team was poor. After closing for over 6 weeks we have not had sod on our yard. We financed through Lennar and they later sold the loan to a different company. Shortly after the loan was sold, my wife and I both experienced identity theft, where we both had letters stating that credit cards were applied for by us that we were not aware of. We are very careful with not sharing private information and have not applied for credit cards in over 5 years. Some credit cards were approved and had ...

The price of the home doesn’t reflect the low level quality of materials and craftsmanship in the home. The home has a beautiful face on it but basic everything else from the cheap doors, no locks on the door knob, the basic level stove and microwave, carpet padding, no screens for the windows and the most horrific caulking and painting of the base boards. I reached out to inquire about upgrading the low level things and I was told that it violates the warranty!?!?. You don’t know all of these things until you get in the house and live in it. Also what happened to everything is BIG in TX??? ...

almost 3 months behind schedule even though all supplies were here, would tell us 2 more weeks so we checked everyday, no one was working on house. When we were told a home inspection which we were paying for could be done work in house was not finished you didn't even have a water meter here. One wall had no electricity at all, we were told it was repaired and it wasn't. So many things not taken care of from final walk thru and house was not cleaned. Not sure what ever happened to customer satisfaction but Lennar has none. Neighbors on both side's had same sort of issues. Nice homes ...

Please keep away from Lennar. They tell you one thing and then do something in the back. When questioned, they say, "oh my mistake" etc or delegate that messaging to someone else. No one really takes responsibility for the mistakes.

The construction manger was/has been great. The title department was the worst!!! I have NEVER had such a horrible experienced. It’s been 4 months since my closing and last month I was looking for final/completed/signed documents in the portal (that you push so much), to find out they were not there. I had to call title to get them. Defeats the purpose of your so called portal. You have been a failure in almost every aspect of the experience. I say almost only because of Shane the construction manager.

Lennar responded:
Hi Lydia, thank you for the long review. We are extremely disappointed to hear about the issues you faced during the title process. If there are any items you still need assistance with, please send us a note at corporatecustomercare@lennar.com. - Lennar Customer Care

I have been around home building my entire life and have never seen a house get built with such lack of care. There were so many things that stood out to show that one the contractor is either way to rushed. Or two they just don’t care. Walls with very little or no paint. Tile that didn’t get grouted in places. Brick work that looked like a little kid did it. List goes on and on. This is just the builder side of things. I have plenty of complaints for the entire company.

Lennar responded:
Hello Steve, thank you for sharing your experience. We would like to apologize for all the frustrations you outlined regarding your new home. Don't Buy a House From Lennar

This review is not in regards to the location, the neighborhood, the local schools, etc... It is strictly about Lennar. I purchased a home from Lennar at the end of May 2019. My experience with Lennar before and after purchasing the home has been terrible. This company lacks communication, consistency, and quality, among other things. When we agreed to purchase the home that we liked, the closing date was originally set for early June 19. Lennar contacted us and said that the closing date could be moved up to mid-May. We agreed to that closing date. When that date finally came around, I ...

The most frustrating home buying process I’ve experienced. The mortgage team continuously sent documents for signature with errors, and when pointed out repeated said to just sign them as they were only for underwriting and we’d just be signing them again later with different info. Very uncomfortable process. I was still resigning corrected papers a month after closing that I had pointed out previously and told to not worry. They also rarely responded to questions without multiple attempts for info, but were always in a hurry to have documents returned immediately regardless of the time of ...

Just not a good experience in any way except Travis our concierge. We feel mislead and ripped off. Delays. Horrible communication. We knew Lennar is not a top builder, but we’re not expecting this? Ever heard of closing at 11P? Ever heard of a builder trying to coverup a breakin during construction? You will.

1. Every Loan processor that was involved with our loan, whether it were a Senior Loan Processor or not, kept asking for the same documents repeatedly after they have been sent. We were emailed on 9/5/23, 9/8/23, 9/14/23, 9/15/23 to provide a copy of social security card, but we were informed by Bryan D. that the 1099 form would suffice as a form of their SSN. 2. My overall home buying experience was stressful and almost traumatic. By far the worst purchasing experience I've ever dealt with. There was an extreme lack of communication with everyone involved. My closing date was moved up without my knowledge only to satisfy the managers' quota for the month. I felt more like a number on a sales performance board than an actual customer making one of the most important purchasing decisions of my life. My interest rate was changed from what was discussed so I had to follow up multiple times to have it changed back. The house repairs were not fixed from ...

The buyer process was so many people involved, had to do too much coordination on my own. Too many different portals to do things in. Poor construction and was told “you can only call in 1-year warranty items all at once, only one time”. Never have heard that in any of my previous home buying experience. So, essentially, there is actually no warranty, if that’s the case. Can’t get a hold of the sales manager, she won’t return my calls conveniently AFTER I closed on the home. Hmmm…. Plus, on the warranty paperwork they ask you to sign after some work is done, there’s NO PLACE for notes - why ...

Lennar prides itself on holding a large market share, and talk about it in their spiels to rope people in, but one thing that is conspicuously absent in their spiel is a commitment to communication and quality of workmanship. Lennar seemed to have an incredibly difficult time with communicating and keeping us up to date on correct information when available, from the selling rep ("real estate agent" I guess?), to the loan processors who were quick to answer emails and pick up phones when we had outstanding items, but left voicemails unreturned when not. We promised and assured we would meet a ...
