So Disappointed

Firstly I'd like to say that the attention to problems is not addressed . I was told that an issue was resolved but in fact it was not. Still working through it. Day after close found the furnace did not work. Had to submit a warranty claim on day 1. Sod issue. Took more than a month after close to get it placed. Then found that is was all dead and brown. Having to follow up with that now. Found after closing that the stove top burner plates are gone. Have to work that issue. Why? Not a happy camper with the builder at this point!!!

Frustrating Lending Process & Mixed Home Quality

We purchased our home for $152,000, and while we were excited about the process, the lending experience was a nightmare. Despite being extremely responsive, providing all requested paperwork within 30 minutes, we were repeatedly asked for the same documents over and over. They even required us to write unnecessary explanations for paperwork they already had, making the process frustrating and redundant. As for the home itself, the quality is hit or miss. The paint chips easily, and the flooring feels cheap and low-grade. On the positive side, the stove and oven are nice, but that’s about ...

This was my first and likely last experience with Lennar. Our sales agent (Christian) was only looking to make a quick sale and I unfortunately did not realize this until it was too late. He became unresponsive to concerns after we signed our initial contract. The Lennar concierge (Del) was not professional and bother line rude. It took longer than necessary to have our concerns addressed after our inspection and walk through. This was purchased as a rental property and we had planned to buy another property but have since changed our minds given the experience. The only positives in this ...

The home buying experience I had with Lennar was just horrible. It seems like all they care about was me closing as soon as possible. The workmanship for this 340,000 house is so horrible. I am still dealing with issues to this day. I have paint and texture all over my light fixtures, flooring issues, spray paint on my floor. The biggest thing that was so bad was the communication. I have spoken to managers , directors and rude consiglieri’s and it was as if the right had no idea what the left hand was doing. if I had know certain things like the HOA mandatory internet and other things I ...

Thus far I have encountered many issues with construction failures in my new home. Issues such as crooked walls. Missing components. Central air and heating problems. Flooring issues with instalation flaws. No windows screens to save lennar money. Front yard still has installation failures, it appears as if they just went on to the next job and forgot about it. No personal follow up on new home. Last walk through was fast, sign here intial there. In 5min it was done. Never saw or heard from anyone again. I could go on but I won't you get the picture.

Financing was easy. Workmanship is the absolute wort. My Brand New home was not detailed at all. My stove I was told it was on when they did their inspection it was UNPLUGGED. My flooring was put together with bits and pieces. Lots of little pieces landscaping cheap only 20 feet of sod when I have at least 50 feet needed to cover yard. Big gaps that my dog got out under the gate. I didn’t realize how small the door entry to the bathrooms are my walker doesn’t fit through the door. Bee nest in my garage it’s my problem. Honestly for a new home it wasn’t the worst but I definitely had to stay on top of things after moving in. They missed a bunch of stuff. The contractors they use are garbage. When putting in tickets to get things fixed that they messed up on or didn’t do it’s like pulling teeth.. had to put multiple tickets to get things done. Horrible customer service. Even the guy who is suppose to take care of things talked to me like I didn’t know anything and I had to put in another ticket just to get him to fix it.. they ruined my lawn and only half fixed it and told me they weren’t going to fix it ...

We had a great time finding a home that was almost completed with Damon. After that we talked with a few good finance people to get the loan paperwork done and approved. Our home buyer conciere we only had one conversation with him and couldnt get ahold of him for anything really. We did have a few issues with the home and it took many tries to get things fixed for us and some things i just had to take care of myself because i was tired of trying to keep up with the constant follow up on warranty things.

Overall Homebuying experience with Lennar has been a "nightmare". First they would not put in the right outside light like "every other house" on my street has, they told me there was a blue print change but if you go through the neighborhood you will see that my house and only 1 other has NO outside light like all the other houses. Then the gas leak that I had to find and had to have the gas company come out to fix. Then the water is running and the water company is charging me an arm in leg because the metor was broke. I can't speak on craftsmanship after only owning the house for 2 months time will tell. But while in process of purchasing the house I worked with Aurora, as my mortgage agent. The amount of incompetence I experienced was astonishing I had to resend the same documents 4 or 5 times I can only assume because she didn't read my whole emails. Even after the house was closed I had issues with her threatening me legally because I stopped responding until I finally had to break down the math myself to show this "expert" how bank accounts work the threatening emails and letters have stopped for now ...

The house itself is a tragedy, the longer I live here the more horrible things become apparent regarding the "quality" of these homes. Wiring -Ask about the wiring, because they will skimp out on it if able. They use 14 guage wiring throughout most of the house where they could, so hope you don't like gaming on a pc or two cause good luck with it not tripping the breaker every so often. -Want to mount stuff in your garage? Good luck with that! They have wires running every which way through almost every stud of 2 of the 3 walls making most of the space useless! They never heard of cable ...

First and foremost, I like my Lennar house. I liked the interest rate and the FHA down payment. As for Lennar, I have little respect for them as a company. They offered me an in person closing, then denied me one. They promised a small amount of touch up paint, then denied me one. Lennar homes are build with the cheapest materials available, by the cheapest labor possible, and with no evident skill or pride in the finished product. Lennar builds homes as a vehicle to get money from all aspects of the process. Lennar Mortgage, Lennar Title, Lennar Insurance, etc. Then they sell ...

- Hard to find the right person to explain the detailed T&C in the contract documents. - No one tells the whole flow, and the progress. Many Lennar internal teams like Lennar Insurance, Lennar Title, Lennar Mortgage, are not talking to each other. As a buyer, I have to explain and reach out each one for any supports needed. - After the closing, not sure when and how can the buyer get the full set of official documents including the registered deed. - The construction team did the sod installation before the mutual agreed date without notice, resulting the huge extra costs and longer time ...

This being my first home buying experience I can say Lennar didn’t make it easygoing like promised. They are quick to contact me when they need money, but slow to get back to me about my questions. Slow or never at all. I will never buy from Lennar again. Nobody was ever on the same page and we were being lied to about things. Plus, we’ve been in the house for two months and already having problems. I wouldn’t even recommend Lennar to my worst enemy.
