Was able to lock in a decent rate at the beginning of summer before the rates came up. Closing date got pushed 4 times. Initial start of contract was May 1 and first closing date was mid june and got pushed to end of June then mid July and last was end of July. We love our home and Lennar was able to help with closing costs and our loan officer was very responsive with updates and good and bad news. The construction is of good quality but know that mistakes are made being at the rate they are building these homes. Blue tape everything you can before closing. Look inside cabinets and attic ...

The only good experience from working with Lennar was our salesman Jarrett. Any time we had a question he would respond immediately respond. Our build was delayed by 5 months which I do not blame Lennar…that was Covid. A week before we moved in we had so many issues and were told by Eddie and the contractor Ming would be fixed before we moved in….a month in new house and nothing was done..had to do warranty claims. Cheap appliances, poor customer service.

Working with Title was a nightmare. Also after I signed to buy while waiting it’s like I didn’t exist to the company no updates on the house nothing.

I think poor workmanship no screens no garage door opener no deck build even though there were 30 inches between foundation they just moved up the dirt snd put grass on top. No caulking on floor for kitchen island. No quarter rounds anywhere on the floors Less cabinets in kitchen no cabinet in laundry toom. Shelves that are too high up. Bricks sticking out by the front entrance. Garage door is damaged. Driveway looks bad no gutters. Garage breakers are not strong enough. Having a qualified Construction Manager is vital

We put a contract on a house at the framing stage, and were local so we visited almost weekly. We did NOT have a qualified or present CM and that created a lot of hassles, especially because he was demoted right before we closed and our Customer Care Manager, Stephen, had to really perform miracles to get us to closing. We actually are very pleased and love our house in the end. Pros: Warranty Dept,, Stephen(!), massive kitchen storage (Thayer model), excellent layouts and nice finishings. Cons: Wonky, narrow door openings to bathrooms and closets, houses don't come with garage door openers ...

Multiple delays during construction, poor communication, terrible closing experience, and many things required to be fixed or replaced- multiple times in some cases. I had a good experience with the actual Lennar seller throughout the process; however, every thing else has been poor.

Just bought a Lennar home and I advise everyone to avoid buying these homes. These homes are cheaply built, workers drink on the job (I have the beer cans in my house to prove it), and there is no urgency when it comes to resolving issues. There is no reason why brand new homes should be having any issues - we even experienced a gas leak our first night on the property! They should be ashamed of themselves and I suggest they cut their prices for these homes.

Worst experience ever. the sales rep was the worse along with the CM. no communication. Absolute nightmare! I had to reach out to the area sales manager so she could help expedite the construction process.

Probably the worst consumer buying experience in my life. I have bought many new homes, from many different builders and the lack of professionalism I experienced from this home builder goes beyond description. I'm so over my Lennar home purchase fiascos that I'm just done even mentioning it anymore. I will never.... ever.... ever.... spend my hard earned money on another Lennar Home nor will I ever recommend them to anyone I know or who inquires about my experience with this builder..

In the first month after closing we ran into a few issues that couldve been avoided. Repair times tool longer than they should. Communication is not a thing with Lennar. The construction crews like to cut corners when building the homes. Lennar doesn't not fill the backyards with grass, some of ours is only dirt. Cracks in the concrete were immediately noticed after closing. Lennar title gave us the wrong amount for closing costs and almost delayed our closing. Our closing date was pushed back about 3 or 4 different times. Plastic bathroom walls were not pushed together correctly, ...

I don't know where to begin with this awful journey we had on the home buying process. From lack of communication from the loan processing aspect to the abysmal workmanship done on the house. All I can say is, if you decide to go with Lennar GOOD LUCK AND GET YOUR OWN INSPECTION.

Honestly it was one of the most horrible experiences ever done. The buying process was very unprofessional since they keep on changing the closing day and while me and my family already left the place we used to live at. I’m a disabled Veteran so I thought I will be a little easier for me to move into my new house but this was just a nightmare. The house was not even clean, some things were damaged and the response from the inspector is just not working for me so I ended up doing the cleaning and fixing with my wife for over two weeks. Purchasing: the house was appraised for 20k less than listed, which is a positive. Our financing representative convinced us to negotiate our offers, until we met at 5k over the appraisal. We later discovered, through our realtor, that she has never seen anyone pay more than $500 over appraisal. We definitely felt swindled. We had a very bad experience with this property. We did online closing and later when we visited, we found the grass Sods completely dead and it was never watered. When enquirer about this with Lennar, they said the property is closed and it’s not their responsibility and also it will not cover in warranty as it’s outside. We also saw cracks in window and a big hole dug in the backyard which we reported and the response was snail paced. Really bad customer service and carelessness on part of Lennar

Move in date was pushed several times, over 26 items failed inspection, communication with the builder and management was absolutely horrible. Would not recommend to anyone. The day I got my keys there was taco bell trash on the counter and paint on the floors still. This was after having to accept a list of things that were not fixed on move in. Just the absolute worst experience I have ever had, specially when spending so much money. Will never go through Lennar again.

I closed on May 27th and moved in on May 31st.
