I wouldn't buy from Lennar Aston Park. From the get go, they did not appear trust worthy. The mortgage officer started out by misleading about the loan requirements. The underwriting process was cumbersome, and I had to basically do the job of the underwriter by writing all my income, sources, and how they were spent in the last 3-6 months in an email. Apparently, sharing my bank statements and other relevant official document was not enough. Walkthrough personnel was not polite. After closing, it was a hassle to get the keys. You have to be there at exactly 11am. Not before, not after. ...

We are first time home buyers and were drawn in by Lennars "easy home buying process" and "everything included". The entire process was a nightmare (minus our amazing sells rep Heather and Warranty/Construction rep Brett). You are 100% just a number to this corporation and they do not care about you, your family or the investment you're making. They have no communication internally, so you have the same conversations with different departments and have to submit the same paperwork over and over again. If I could give MORE then ZERO stars to Lennar it would not be enough. Working with Lennar Homes was absolutely HORRIBLE from the very start. I will NEVER EVER recommend. Workmanship is horrible for the price we paid. Lennar took away the so called wonderful home buying experience which we will never get. Thanks Lennar for DESTROYING our dream, be proud of yourself.

My home buying experience was loaded with delays and disappointments. The quality of these houses is also not very good. I would look at moving somewhere else if I had to do it over again.

We couldn’t move in for 30 days after closing because the sod wasn’t installed and we have dogs. Both yards were a giant mud pit, and the lack of sod almost caused the house not to close. Then when we needed to access the plumbing clean out, they had buried it in the dirt and sod and came in with a backhoe and ripped it all out. It has yet to be replaced. The house has flooded 3 times now when using the washing machine, dishwasher doesn’t work due to incorrect wiring. Worse experience in my life. Lennar has different departments and they don’t communicate with each other. Zach the sales spokesperson for the area was useless, couldn’t be found no text, or call. I seen him only one time out of 5 months. He was always off or on vacation. No help. The builder hired bad contractors to do the plumbing and had multiple leaks that needed to be correct before closing. The cleaning people flooded my house because the builders didn’t tell them they haven’t completed a flow test yet. Just bought a Lennar home and I advise everyone to avoid buying these homes. These homes are cheaply built, workers drink on the job (I have the beer cans in my house to prove it), and there is no urgency when it comes to resolving issues. There is no reason why brand new homes should be having any issues - we even experienced a gas leak our first night on the property! They should be ashamed of themselves and I suggest they cut their prices for these homes.

I Wouldn't Buy From Lennar Again

In the first month after closing we ran into a few issues that couldve been avoided. Repair times tool longer than they should. Communication is not a thing with Lennar. The construction crews like to cut corners when building the homes. Lennar doesn't not fill the backyards with grass, some of ours is only dirt. Cracks in the concrete were immediately noticed after closing. Lennar title gave us the wrong amount for closing costs and almost delayed our closing. Our closing date was pushed back about 3 or 4 different times. Plastic bathroom walls were not pushed together correctly, ...

Move in date was pushed several times, over 26 items failed inspection, communication with the builder and management was absolutely horrible. Would not recommend to anyone. The day I got my keys there was taco bell trash on the counter and paint on the floors still. This was after having to accept a list of things that were not fixed on move in. Just the absolute worst experience I have ever had, specially when spending so much money. Will never go through Lennar again.

Not a positive experience. Would not recommend Lennar to family and friends based on my bad experience. Note that every neighbor I’ve talk to all expressed the same bad experience.

San Antonio Lennar was the worst homebuyer experience I’ve encountered with multiple purchases to my credit. Be prepared to pay out of pocket to correct their building errors and hotels for missed closing dates with NO notification.

New house and the driveway is already cracked. I was told nothing could be done, I've turned in the same problems three times now and they're still not fixed with no follow up. The workman ship is shoddy. There are hidden design flaws that you people have refused to take care of; All in all I would not recommend Lennar Homes to anyone.

If it’s not too late. Look elsewhere. I have had and will probably continue to have issues with this New home. I have so many pictures to prove it. Make sure you check that your home has been painted and I don’t mean with just primer. The landscaping company is horrible as well. After filing a report with the landscaping company that my so called Bermuda sod was dead and dry when they finally installed it , because it was just sitting across the street for weeks, the company adjust there picture to look green, however they couldn’t adjust the tree that was dead. So just aware..

So far the only good thing is ,it was the cheapest home that was available. The longer we live here the more areas we see where the builders cut corners, did quick patch jobs or even tried to hide the errors made rather than fix them. if you have an issue there's a whole lengthy process to get it resolved. We were made promises that were not kept, discovered trash that had been poured over with concrete because they were too lazy to pick up after themselves. The only people with Lennar I am thankful for is Bryan & Ken for being dedicated to customer satisfaction & Lou H. for how helpful she was with our loan underwriting. Absolutely horrible experience all the way from the looking at the home to closing. Zero communication within the company, everything is compartmentalized. Straight up will lie to your face. Use FOMO tactics to get anything done. God forbid you call them out on the workmanship and they have to make repairs. Just easier to pay someone else after the process to get your home to where you want to be.

I closed on my home in February of 2023 and have had multiple issues come up... cracks appeared between the walls and ceiling, flooring lifted up and cracked. spaces showing between floor boards, that was explained as "acceptable" as long as you cant fit a credit card between the spaces. Shoddy paint jobs, and it takes 2-3 weeks to get anything scheduled to try to get the issues fixed. When you say something, you're made to feel like you are imposing on them to fix things that should have been fixed before closing. Overall the experience was terrible. Our Lennar salesman never answered her phone. Always rude when we finally got ahold of her she had no idea what was going on. House looks like it was built by a toddler. No attention to details, paint everywhere on outlet covers, my brand new carpet, windows all have paint on them. House was suppose to be cleaned before closing that was never done. Nobody answers the phone to get anything taken care of.
