Terrible workmanship and materials

Lennar homes are terrible quality, seems like builder just rush their work and use the cheapest material as possible. Foundation cracks have appeared and have made my floor rise and lennar says that there is no foundation issue. Even after I have had my own third party foundation company tell me there are problems. Will never buy a lennar home again.

For buying a first home, I had a very stressful experience trying to constantly prove that money was money was available because they couldn’t read. Not till I got my realtor involved the “issues” cleared. Quality and craftsmanship is horrible, no pride in quality of work. When you do need answers during the process everyone blames everyone and says it’s someone else doing it. Too many hands involved. I would never buy a Lennar home again.

I want to say first how nice and responsive Amy and Stephen were that is who we dealt with most. They represent the company well. The problem I had is how much we were lied to. When we first walked in to view the house it was 281k and we were advertised a 4.25% interest rate. In a short 2 months it went up to 306k and 5.65%. We messed up and agreed. We got ripped off. Never again will I recommend to anyone or myself purchase a lennar product. I’m paying more for home owners insurance because I refuse to give Lennar any more of my hard earned money. The initial part of the home buying process was okay. It was until the inspection and after closing that the nightmares started to kick in. First, for starters, any real estate professional could see the gap between the foundation and the garage door. It seems like because I was out of town during the closing they just looked over the gap in hopes I wouldn’t say anything. The seller failed to disclose everything that the house was supposed to have and they compromised on quality for the price. They should have been straightforward with me the first place telling me most stuffs don’t come with the house a week before closing date. I don’t think I can recommend or buy any other house from this builder

If Lennar can save a nickel they will. They did not seal the walls, I am not sure if they just sprayed the walls with texture or if they actually used paint. The landscape was a mess, and we still have problems with the sprinkler system. We have dogs, so every day we have to walk to the yard and pick up styrofoam cups, fast food packages, and other garbage left to the wind. I had to coordinate the mailboxes being put in, they did not know who the waste disposal provider was, and it was a battle trying to get sprinklers, fences, and lawn fixed. Closed 6/22, it’s 8/8 and the construction trash can is still on my back porch. Learned a week after moving in that more than half the houses on my street are investor owned rentals. Worst mistake I’ve made in my life trusting Lennar.

From day one it was a bait and switch with everything I was told and shown. The company has horrible communication with the buyer and buyers agent. The craftsmanship of the home is horrendous. My walk through brought to life all kinds of issues, some of which I was told were fixed and weren't! I would never in my life recommend buying a home with Lennar to my worst enemy. From the sales rep, Orin, being so uniformative and having horrible communication. I actually lost out on the same house I purchased that couldve been $20,000 less but in the middle of signing and trying to pay earnest money Orin stopped responding and we lost the house. I've never even met the "man" in person. We were never told about the ONLY 20ft of grass and found out on our final walk through with no option to add more. Once they hook you into buying you are no longer important. Our concerns are placed on the back burner. Been waiting 6 wks. for weeds to be cut and grass to be planted. House looks like a jungle outside. Even had a snake show up. Sprinkler has been on and never shut off .6 wks. and still receiving guests to a rocky and weedy front yard.

I’m still waiting for issues to be corrected on my home. I asked about why there are no window screens and was told that they where removed. I’ve never bought a home with out them. There is no documentation that says you wouldn’t have them. The painters are using water down paint and just are overall sloppy. The exterior is missing calking around all windows overhang. My salesman never called stayed in touch throughout my whole buying experience. If it wasn’t for my daughter staying on top of everything, I would have never closed.

Lennar uses unskilled contractors and cheap materials, contractors and subcontractors don’t know what they’re doing and have this “I don’t care” attitude. Getting anything done or fixed or repaired is extremely difficult and have to resort to escalating to Lennar Head Office. Construction managers and customer service reps all make big promise, trying to get you to close sooner. As soon as you Close on your house, game over, Lennar won’t touch or repair anything. Apply your hard earned money somewhere else. Voss Farms Lennar is built on nothing but shortcuts, the contractors are not overseen. They do what and how they want. I would have though that Lennar would oversee someone building under their name. From start to finish everything was presented in a misleading way. You will not find out till after you close and do not even get me started on the homeowners association, or the solar contractor that you are forced to use.. BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE

Terrible worst experience ever

Absolutely terrible. Haven't been in two months and we have massive cracks in the walls. The doors don't shut or latch and they have fixed them 5 times already and they still don't work. We don't have running cold water. I have called over and over and I just get the run around and nothing happens. We still have things broken from our initial walkthrough that should have been taken care of when I moved in. Ive asked to get someone else to be put on the case and nothing happens and the same guy Rene doesn't help or schedules and no one shows up. Stay away from this company.

From the start the person we connected with we had poor communications with she never returned or answered calls. This also goes for the loan agent Trisha Ayala was TERRIBLE. The loan processers were all TERRIBLE. Very poor communication and not trust worthy not honest. Would never recommend them or to anyone wanting to buy a house.
