The only people with Lennar I am thankful for is Bryan & Ken for being dedicated to customer satisfaction & Lou H. for how helpful she was with our loan underwriting. Other than that, this is The WORST experience I’ve had in home buying. The day we met with our consultant we told her our price range & number of rooms/bathrooms we wanted. She showed us houses at least 10-20k over our price range and not even what we had asked for in a home. Absolutely horrible experience all the way from the looking at the home to closing. Zero communication within the company, everything is compartmentalized. Straight up will lie to your face. Use FOMO tactics to get anything done. God forbid you call them out on the workmanship and they have to make repairs. Just easier to pay someone else after the process to get your home to where you want to be.

I closed on my home in February of 2023 and have had multiple issues come up... cracks appeared between the walls and ceiling, flooring lifted up and cracked. spaces showing between floor boards, that was explained as "acceptable" as long as you cant fit a credit card between the spaces. Shoddy paint jobs, and it takes 2-3 weeks to get anything scheduled to try to get the issues fixed. When you say something, you're made to feel like you are imposing on them to fix things that should have been fixed before closing. Overall the experience was terrible. Our Lennar salesman never answered her phone. Always rude when we finally got ahold of her she had no idea what was going on. House looks like it was built by a toddler. No attention to details, paint everywhere on outlet covers, my brand new carpet, windows all have paint on them. House was suppose to be cleaned before closing that was never done. Nobody answers the phone to get anything taken care of.

People must understand that buying a house process, is a for-life transaction, which makes the house buying decision a very important one in your life. Worst home and home buying experience ever

This will be THE LAST time I ever buy a Lennar home and I will tell everyone who asks me, how crappy this house is. We basically only moved forward with the purchase because it was buy this house or be homeless. We pay so much money for a house that comes with the bare minimum. We don't even have a back yard water faucet and live facing a retention area. If that area ever caught fire, we have no way of helping contain that. I don't know where to begin with this awful journey we had on the home buying process. From lack of communication from the loan processing aspect to the abysmal workmanship done on the house. All I can say is, if you decide to go with Lennar GOOD LUCK AND GET YOUR OWN INSPECTION.

Very Poor, experience, no communication from the Lennar. Had to involve management for every little thing. They did not even care to answer phones on day of closing. I left messages and received a call back after 24 hours, that too after 5 emails cc'ing the management. Lennar Mortgage is most inefficient, Loan officer change rate on you without your knowledge, lie and are dishonest. They cannot answer one intelligent question, and their management is equally dishonest and encourage their unlawful ethics.

This is our 2nd new home buying experience and Lennar is BY FAR the worst builder we have ever dealt with. The quality of work is absolutely atrocious, there's no pride behind their workmanship. They try to save a dollar where they can, which means your home will not have a DOORBELL, a peephole or a microwave. Get it in writing or it is not true. Get contact info to Construction Manager as soon as you meet your sales person. Hire your own inspector period. Expect closing date to change at least twice. Get extended garage as their standard 2 car garage is smaller than other builders. Prepare for long battle. Over priced for quality you recieve. Not everything is included, not even the instructions or boxes devices come in. REGRET

I have had issues, that I can’t get the correct help from the get go.

Issues with water bill, from excessive water use from the sprinklers. I was told the day of the original walk-thru orientation that the water will be turned down b4 my move in, it wasn’t. I have spoken to several members of the staff on the property and I can never get a straight answer. It don’t help being a disabled veteran on a set income to get stuck paying an additional $300 water bill.

Dealing with Lennar has been a nightmare! Their responsiveness is non existent and anytime there is a problem, they pass the buck to someone else and you never get a straight answer from anybody. We were warned to stay away from Lennar but we did not listen and we paid the price. I would greatly advise any new home buyers to STAY AWAY FROM LENNAR!

First off after several (6-7x) of getting and sending my homeowners insurance correction after correction from the lending team I was threatened with being charged per day that the house went over closing even after sending them everything I was getting from progressive. Compared to my previous experiences with well-known home builders, working with Lennar was a nightmare. From start to finish, it was clear that their only priority was the bottom line. We had to constantly push for people to do their jobs, and when we did, the responses were unprofessional and inadequate. This also extends to the people who were supposed to respond to our complaints—there was no accountability. I would not recommend Lennar to anyone.

Never spoke with the same person before buying. Left wife off title despite being told to put her on it. Communication was the worst ever. Deadlines never met yet I was rushed to do my parts. Landscaping not put in when originally told. Builder took forever to finalize final inspection for city because of landscaping delay. This prevented me from getting utilities moved into my name until two weeks after signing. Kitchen base boards not attached to anything. Paint is terrible quality and is easily marked and damaged. Home buying process was stressful and no one from Lennar was helpful.

AC systems installed do not work as they should

I complained that my new AC system doesn't cool down in the afternoons & they claim it's normal as long as its 20 degrees cooler inside than outside so 80 degrees homes with 100 degree weather outside is normal to them & they won't fix regardless of the so called warranty. I'm 1 of MANY neighbors with the same complaint left to accept these hot conditions.
