Story of a builder going too fast Lacking quality control

Lennar is building too many homes too fast and utterly lacking in quality control. All the homeowners in our neighborhood are having to chase after them for multiple items with the homes. Warranty response can be very uneven. Four months into the home and I’m still waiting for a replacement cabinet doors owed us from prior to close. Paint on floors, dings and walls, crappy paint job in places, their installers put the wrong cabinets in the wrong bathrooms ( one is bigger one is smaller and they had them swapped Impacting use of the toilet in one of them ). Really bad attitude of the construction manager, area manager and the VP of construction

Lennar messed up on the grass installation date that led to ALL the grass dying that Lennar had installed . I went by my verbal conversation with Kyle because I trusted him. When things went wrong he and the managers either went mute or told me to show something in written otherwise they can’t do anything. My total expenditure for this goof up is $3.5k!! Shane started telling me all about when the grass needs to be installed that Kyle or no one else mentioned when they should have. On top of that he said he won’t talk to the landscape company to see if they can give me the builder rate ...

Lennar Mortgage messed up on my home insurance policy. I'm still waiting for my refund. Other than that, sale respresentative, construction manager and onsite service manager are very friendly and quite helpful.

The way they delivered my house is terrible they left the siding with nails popping out, the support in the attic is terrible if you walk on the wood support it acts like a spring, the restrooms had black permanent marker on the countertops, the kitchen countertop which is granite had stains from paint buckets that had corrosion, on the garage I have a gap on the left side support. They had damage in the driveway. Repairing this house, you would need a new siding with new wood support done correctly as for the warranty advisor she will always tell you it’s cosmetic and never fix the issues ...

Multiple problems with the portal and dealing with the mortgage team was a nightmare. To date have not been to LF our mortgage was approved. Kudos to Christopher Buentello who kept us informed as to the progress on the home and assisted us with communicating with mortgage team when they did not respond.

The floor plan is what caught my attention. However, for the amount invested on this new beautiful home, I was a little disappointed that the house didn't and wasn't equipped with a door bell, a water spicket and lightning in the backyard.

I could not have been more disappointed in the treatment we received and the number of fixes and repairs required for a BRAND NEW HOUSE. The Lennar Title Office was absolutely horrible we were lied to repeatedly, just terrible.
