Terrible Mortgage staff especially for being a first time buyer, lost me thousands of dollars for not locking me in when they were supposed to. Almost no communication, they really don’t care about you, you are just another number. Warranty People will tell you they will fix things and you have warranty but they don’t tell you what voids it and they will do whatever it takes to not fix anything… find gray lines, loops, etc. Very dishonest. Will tell you they will take care of something to your face and then never hear back from them again.

The construction manger was/has been great. The title department was the worst!!! I have NEVER had such a horrible experienced. It’s been 4 months since my closing and last month I was looking for final/completed/signed documents in the portal (that you push so much), to find out they were not there. I had to call title to get them. Defeats the purpose of your so called portal. You have been a failure in almost every aspect of the experience. I say almost only because of Shane the construction manager.

How quick Lennar was to take my money

3 months into living here the backyard starts to flood and all the grass dies from the fungus of standing water. Lennar denies to fix the grading in the back yard and the side of the house. Claims it has to be more than 48hr of standing water. If you have an issue, they won’t fix it, they’ll find a reason why it isn’t their fault. They blame my backyard not draining on me over watering the grass.

I went with an outside lender because they had a more competitive interest rate, which Lennar allows you to do. My original close date was 2/19. Due to a snow storm in Texas (A FEMA declared disaster) we were pushed to the following week 2/26. The appraisal company (hired by my Lender) was rescheduled for 2/23. The appraiser called to have the house be open and that they were on their way. They no showed. I couldn’t close on 2/26. This is where Lennar gets extremely unethical. Lennar tells me since I am “out of contract” at this point, that they are going to raise the purchase price of the ...

Sales person (Jeremiah) was awesome and attentive. Once closed, not happy with the CCR (not worth mentioning name) Customer Care Rep did not address my issues then was no longer assigned to my area. Next rep (Hannah) was GREAT! She picked up where someone else failed, sadly, she was transferred. Now I haven't even met the new CCR. I wish I would have a rep who care to listen to my concerns. Frustrating to not have issues addressed. HOA is crazy fast to report. With all this rain, lawn service companies are backed up and sure enough I get a "warning" seriously upset that there is no ...

Overall the buying experience was good. The only complain I have is the trashes we get blown onto our lawn due to construction next door. Would be great if there’s some management around waste for construction folks. Also after moving in. I found some trash nails and even a rib bone in our attic.

Sales experience was great along with the walk through prior to closing. The frustrating part came when trying to get everything fixed. The quality control is not good so multiple things had to be corrected multiple times to include major corrections like to the flooring and the siding. My requests also went unanswered. Took over a month to transfer water into our name because the correct amount of trees weren’t installed to begin with. Of course I had already had the irrigation system put in when they had to throw a random tree in an odd spot just to pass the inspection. Overall happy but ...

In a market where everything could have turned, Lennar and their team made it happen for me. My turn around was 30 days and I couldn’t have been happier. Being a first time homebuyer, after going through several agents and other builders, Lennar gave me what I needed. The home is simple, but it’s a great starter home, and I would absolutely buy from them again. Although some teams weren’t as thorough as others, a little persistence got the job done.

The beginning of the process started fine, the sales department knows how to pull emotional strings. Lennar’s tag line of “everything’s included” is only true for luxury homes. Every room in the home I purchased has issues with quality and poor installation, just barely to squeeze by the building code. Sod was laid over garbage in the yard and patched together with a variety of grasses. All in all, I paid for a roof and walls. There were no quality checks during construction. I had to contact the mortgage department (Lennar was the lender) twice as my HOA almost sent me to collections. The ...

I did the walkthrough inspection in Nov. 2020 with issues of back door. I closed Jan 2021 and here I am end of May 2021 and back door STILL is not fixed by now needs to be replaced because of they’re 3 trips out they STILL cannot do right by me. The new homeowner of a NEW HOME. This has put a thorn in my home buying experience with Lennar

While the home is great and really happy with it. Many things were not considered. The quality of materials used is pretty low for the $$ of the home. Also when the shower was extended, there clearly wasn’t much though put into how people use it. There should of been an extended master double vanity of there and a slightly smaller walk in shower. Also tile looks unfinished without it going to top of half wall and to the shower head. Also there is no closet space for linens and towels which is odd in this size home to not have a single closet for linens.
