This is my second home purchase. My first was a D.R. Horton home. The price point is what ultimately led me to purchase this one; however, if D.R. Horton had been available, I would have chosen them again. While I understand that costs have increased, the materials used in these homes feel very cheap. The flooring is probably the worst I’ve seen, and the tile and bathroom selections could have been much better. There’s also no exterior lighting on the garage, and the paint quality is extremely poor. Overall, I just think they could have done a much better job with the materials and finishes.

Overall it was an Okay experience. Our sales rep was phenomenal - thank you Liz!! Jennifer on the lending side was also amazing!! Closing day was great at Lennar. The walk through was good at the beginning and then didn’t continue that way - and the concierge person was not good at any point in time.

It was kind of a mixed experience dealing with Lennar. I guess in this day and age, so much is electronic and that could be an issue for older, not so tech savvy folks. That was a struggle, especially since our move was from over 200 miles from the new home. Overall the home itself is great and so far andthe HOA seems to be a decent one... Again, so far. Quality of the build and materials is good. One major issue is the landscape company that put in the sod. Get another source of a landscape company because the job done on the sod for this home(and many others in the neighborhood) was really ...

The day before closing many items still needed completed from the new home celebration walk through. We were told they’d all be done before closing. They were not. The house was never cleaned from the construction crews inside or out. The gate tears the sod up that they laid, bath room cabinets not finished and flooring already coming up. We were told vents were put on up on the roof, first rain fall in the new home equaled puddles in every bathroom. Seems lazy and sad, I know some issues are expected but we have many and the saddest is it was filthy to move into.

Love the house, but the problem is.. my warranty deed says one city, but I have to put a different city for shipping purposes. Some companies dont acknowledge/pull up the physical address at all in their systems. Should have been told this in the beginning. Paying one city's taxes bit having g to put another one for daily life. Makes no sense

You would think paying almost $400,000 for a house it’d come dang near perfect but not the case at all. MULTIPLE major and minor issues, many that were listed off to be fixed before our move in date that were not. Bubbles in the drywall (ceilings and walls), crooked outlets, windows, door knobs, doors not latching, towel bar falling out of drywall, all hot water was running out of the cold side and vice versa, bathtub leak in spare bathroom, chips in the tile. Very poor quality. Not to mention the amount of trash we have blow into our yard daily due to the careless workers not being able to ...

There were some issues with the house even before going in that weren't fixed and it's sad that you have to submit a warranty request to get them fixed and that can take up to 1 - 2 weeks. They should definitely be more in depth of how to change out lights and other things that you normally wouldn't think to ask. It would also be great if you were a new and first time homeowner to have a contact person with questions as far as HOAs how to submit a service warranty just general things instead of reaching out to people who no longer want to work with you because you've already purchased the ...

I would avoid Lennar knowing what I know now about the company and quality of their homes. They have admitted to utilizing a fast pace low quality model that I feel lends itself to poor craftsmanship, unaccountability, and a propensity to only be concerned with the bottom line. Simply put, they just don't make quality houses like they use to. When issues came up, I was given the cold shoulder for weeks and told that the warranty doesn't cover the issue that I was concerned about. It did not seem like they were going to provide an amicable solution until I started CCing people on emails ...

My experience started off very well I met Leandra and I needed plenty of help because Im not computer savvy as most people are. She was very knowledgable answering my questions and showed me alot of respect being 69 yrs old. I never imagined I could qualify for a loan that easy. Having the VA helped me with my loan was very comfortable. I dealt with alot of people from the start to the finish.and I am glad that it is almost all over. I would like to thank all the Lennar people that helped me to get my new home. Living at Sapphire Grove is great very peaceful and quiet.

My whole experience was horrible. From start to end. Even after I closed the house was gross, the construction guy did not fixed the window that I pointed out during my last walk. They took forever to do the final city inspection even after I had already closed on the house. My gas was cut off because no one informed me that the city had done the inspection several weeks after I closed even though I would call weekly and could never get answers. I will never do business with you again and if it wasn’t because my wife wanted the house in that community I would have given y’all the finger. ...

Buying from Lennar has been one of the most frustrating experiences. They rushed the build of our home, clearly more focused on putting up houses for numbers than on quality. From day one, we were handed dead grass and trees — it looked neglected before we even moved in. When issues come up, they fight you every step of the way. Instead of standing behind their work, they make the process of getting anything fixed extremely difficult. To make matters worse, they only repair drywall cracks once, even though more appear as the house settles. Most recently spilled chemical in my yard and ...

NEVER BUY FROM LENNAR

Lennar is the only affordable builder in San Antonio and they take advantage of that distinction. Lowest quality builder grade materials are used. Construction manager lied three different times that issues identified by third-party inspector were resolved. Later, he couldn't distinguish between main water line or hot/cold water lines. Internet service is mandatory so that builder receives a kickback for every new buyer and it is NOT included in your HOA fees. There is an additional monthly charge. HOA received over $1,000 in closing documents even though no one could explain the ...

You definitely get what you pay for. After having several professionals come out to look at certain things, I get the same outcome. Lennar uses the cheapest materials and will do whatever to save money on their end. A bit disappointed after only living here for less than three months. There’s paint on the floors throughout the house and even on the carpet in the bedrooms. The glue that was used for the flooring is smeared throughout the hallways and it looks terrible. Still trying to find something to remove that without ruining the floors. I have found a couple of blue tape spots that were ...
