Overall our home was built fairly well, but there were some issues we brought to the attention of our new home consultant that had to be brought up multiple times before anything was done. Some issues were not relayed to the construction crew/building manager, which led to multiple appointments for repairs after closing.

Great sales experience at first, but as the house progressed, almost ghost like experience. The site construction manager was extremely rude toward us when we hired a third party inspection company to inspect prior to close.

We purchased our first home with Lennar and our sales agent Cathy was awesome! We love our home and the builder's responsiveness has been great. However, the quality of the materials is not the best. The workers mishandled a lot of the materials used and went to extreme lengths to hide the damage, but as I started cleaning, it became visible that these items should have been replaced.

Far too much probing with ‘required’ documents for loan approval. This is a monetary transaction and nothing more, the ONLY thing that matters is that the loan can be paid legally. Check my job, check my credit, that’s all that is needed. My education and life story is not your business.

We picked a Lennar home because after looking at all of the builders in our area (and there were a lot!) We loved that Lennar's homes include everything and have a more upgraded feel to them. However, since living in the home, we do feel the actual quality is lower than our last home we lived in. We've had multiple cracks in the baseboards, some little issues with the towel racks and faucets and just a handful of small things that are a bother considering how expensive homes are and considering we thought Lennar was the best after looking into many builders. fast and easy process. finish work is awful. We have wavy walls, trim doesn't match up, the corners of every wall look horrible and drywall screws popping out everywhere.

I like the home, but we were bad informed by sales department, if we knew the up coming development we might wait a couple months to select the location we preferred, we asked about those future homes, and we were told no development was in the near future, but just a month in the home and the whole site is developed and now we are going to be 30 years desiring to be on a different site, I don’t know if they really didn’t have the information, but that information is critical at the time of making decisions, we even are recommending multiple friends and some of them told us that they were not ...

Beautiful homes but not a lot of help

The home that I bought is gorgeous. I am a first time home buyer so I admit I do not know a lot about what to expect when buying a home. The experience of working with my lender was awful. I was signing things that he told me he would fix the mistakes later and then he tried to change my rate after we were locked in. I feel that even after buying my house people acted like I was a nuisance when I would text to get updates of scratched windows (which one of them is still scratched and I have heard nothing). Overall, the Lennar home is beautiful, but the customer service was lacking.

This home built quality is 5 out of 10, things left unfinished, they used the cheapest materials, walls get scuffed up and damaged very easily. Outside ground under lawn is very soft, you walk over it and you will sink about 3 4 inches. Walls are not built straight, they just want to make money on you. If you comment about their work because you seen too many unprofessional workmanship on the house, they don’t like the way you talk with them. Any body gets mad for the bad quality of house they get. Every builder will cut corners. Lennar is no different. The home is beautiful inside and out, but the way HVAC, gas lines, were ran will make it a huge pain to finish your basement if you ever decide to. Construction manager told me incorrect information about my home as well, so take their knowledge as a grain of salt.

Lennar misplaced $5,000 of our down payment and only fixed it when my husband went and looked at the numbers. Since moving in we’ve found many mistakes made in the home and whenever we try to text our agent or the manager about it and when our front landscaping will be done we get ghosted. Lennar also says they do the whole back fence but we were cut short with ours being a corner lot and the fence doesn’t extend to the corner it’s about ten feet short. It’s very frustrating as all of our neighbors have their whole back fence done except us. It would mean a lot if lennar finished the back ...

The home and value of the home is good. The people. We worked with are lying sacks of scum. They didn’t explain the Master HOA. They lied about a pool and clubhouse just to get us to buy. Good home, dishonest workers!

They were incredibly convincing until we passed the time with our earnest money. They stated that Lennar cared, and even though they generally don’t install radon mitigation systems, they would take care of their customers. They didn’t. The level on our home was the equivalent of smoking 80 cigarettes per day And we have two children, and children are 10 to 12 times more likely to develop cancer due to radon exposure. Materials are cheap, if you wipe the wall with a napkin, white paint comes off of the wall and that’s not even with a chemical on the napkin. The caulking in the bathroom ...

Great Home, Terrible Logistics

Home is wonderful. The logistics of buying were terrible. After we had closed Lennar tried to get us to pay a reinvestment fee of 2500 bucks, claiming they forgot to send it to title for closing. After 4-5 months of disputing they finally waived the charge. This was very frustrating and put quite a bad taste in our mouths. Because of this, we would only recommend buying from Lennar if it was a pre-lived in home. We would not recommend buying new from Lennar.

Lennar cuts every corner and does not honor its warranty. They are unresponsive, rude and do not do proper repairs.
