Very good experience.

Its was a good experience buying lennar home with minor hiccups.

Builder grade, entry level finishes and materials. Garage is left unfinished. The unfinished basement is a plus.

Overall our home was built fairly well, but there were some issues we brought to the attention of our new home consultant that had to be brought up multiple times before anything was done. Some issues were not relayed to the construction crew/building manager, which led to multiple appointments for repairs after closing.

The warranty service is poor and so much of process even for the small fix.

Great sales experience at first, but as the house progressed, almost ghost like experience. The site construction manager was extremely rude toward us when we hired a third party inspection company to inspect prior to close.

We purchased our first home with Lennar and our sales agent Cathy was awesome! We love our home and the builder's responsiveness has been great. However, the quality of the materials is not the best. The workers mishandled a lot of the materials used and went to extreme lengths to hide the damage, but as I started cleaning, it became visible that these items should have been replaced.

They were very helpful in explainini all the features and benefits the community and home has to offer

Far too much probing with ‘required’ documents for loan approval. This is a monetary transaction and nothing more, the ONLY thing that matters is that the loan can be paid legally. Check my job, check my credit, that’s all that is needed. My education and life story is not your business.

We picked a Lennar home because after looking at all of the builders in our area (and there were a lot!) We loved that Lennar's homes include everything and have a more upgraded feel to them. However, since living in the home, we do feel the actual quality is lower than our last home we lived in. We've had multiple cracks in the baseboards, some little issues with the towel racks and faucets and just a handful of small things that are a bother considering how expensive homes are and considering we thought Lennar was the best after looking into many builders. The good news is, the warranty has been VERY good to work with! They are quick to respond and easy to work with. Super kind and considerate. Tess was great to work with.. she was very informative and helpful..on the mortgage side, not so much..frustrating, would provide info and then they would ask for the same info you just gave them.. we couldn’t close the way we were supposed to, so we had to drive to salt lake to do so.. quality of materials - Lennar doesn’t care, gives you zero choices and the cheapest of cabinets, flooring at a pretty steep price.. you get what you get and that’s it! Literally most of all the new home buyers on our street have literally gutted their brand new homes and built them back the way they should be with much better craftsmanship and quality of materials. And after all this, they part of the neighborhood to have fencing that goes completely against HOA rules and then tell you that you can’t put up a fence particularly when you have a 5ft drop off in your back yard!! fast and easy process. finish work is awful. We have wavy walls, trim doesn't match up, the corners of every wall look horrible and drywall screws popping out everywhere.

I like the home, but we were bad informed by sales department, if we knew the up coming development we might wait a couple months to select the location we preferred, we asked about those future homes, and we were told no development was in the near future, but just a month in the home and the whole site is developed and now we are going to be 30 years desiring to be on a different site, I don’t know if they really didn’t have the information, but that information is critical at the time of making decisions, we even are recommending multiple friends and some of them told us that they were not building more single family homes but now we Have 8 of them being built around us. Lots of issues in the fine details. We were missing a breaker for our air conditioner, several issues with doors in our home and slow when getting things addressed.

The location is great. Our home is sub par in quality for a high price. If you’re looking for a home with absolutely no input or change options, this is your builder. The floors on the main level vibrate when you walk on them. The wall studs are 24” or more off center. The electrical work was poorly done. The covered ceiling fan outlets were placed in a horrible position. The fan in the great room was only 8” away from the TV and a foot off Center when installed. We had to have a new outlet placed 2ft back and a ft to the left. The fan outlet in owners bedroom same problem (2ft off center) There’s no quality control. How hard would it be to center the fans in the room. We had a home inspection done prior to closing, this identified a roofing issue that allowed water in the ceiling of the Owners bedroom. We asked for 2 months to get a copy of the wiring plan. Received it 2 weeks before closing. Too late to make sure things were done right. Make sure you take the time to ensure that things are placed correctly during the build process. The quick build process does not equal common sense quality. The kitchen cabinets are very basic with limited drawers. The bathroom cabinets are huge base cabinets with 4 doors. (No separation) There are only 3 drawers for dual sinks. No drawers in the desk. Least expensive layout possible The heat pump system seems to be too small for the house. It’s always running trying to get the temp up to 72 degrees. We haven’t experienced summer cooling yet. The home that I bought is gorgeous. I am a first time home buyer so I admit I do not know a lot about what to expect when buying a home. The experience of working with my lender was awful. I was signing things that he told me he would fix the mistakes later and then he tried to change my rate after we were locked in. I feel that even after buying my house people acted like I was a nuisance when I would text to get updates of scratched windows (which one of them is still scratched and I have heard nothing). Overall, the Lennar home is beautiful, but the customer service was lacking.

This home built quality is 5 out of 10, things left unfinished, they used the cheapest materials, walls get scuffed up and damaged very easily. Outside ground under lawn is very soft, you walk over it and you will sink about 3 4 inches. Walls are not built straight, they just want to make money on you. If you comment about their work because you seen too many unprofessional workmanship on the house, they don’t like the way you talk with them. Any body gets mad for the bad quality of house they get. We paid for it at least they can do is do good quality work, even if they using cheap materials. There are more stuff to say but don’t have time for it. Every builder will cut corners. Lennar is no different. The home is beautiful inside and out, but the way HVAC, gas lines, were ran will make it a huge pain to finish your basement if you ever decide to. Construction manager told me incorrect information about my home as well, so take their knowledge as a grain of salt.

building materials aren't very good. Outside looks horrible - land swap

The repair crew is great but these are very basic townhomes with a lot that could be better. The home buying process was difficult at best and the finishes are low end for the price.

Lennar misplaced $5,000 of our down payment and only fixed it when my husband went and looked at the numbers. Since moving in we’ve found many mistakes made in the home and whenever we try to text our agent or the manager about it and when our front landscaping will be done we get ghosted. Lennar also says they do the whole back fence but we were cut short with ours being a corner lot and the fence doesn’t extend to the corner it’s about ten feet short. It’s very frustrating as all of our neighbors have their whole back fence done except us. It would mean a lot if lennar finished the back fence for us. Overall we love the area and do love our home but from what we’ve heard from our new neighbors about getting things fixed and how we’ve been treated so far I don’t know if I’d recommend building with lennar to others. ... The home and value of the home is good. The people. We worked with are lying sacks of scum. They didn’t explain the Master HOA. They lied about a pool and clubhouse just to get us to buy. Good home, dishonest workers!

They were incredibly convincing until we passed the time with our earnest money. They stated that Lennar cared, and even though they generally don’t install radon mitigation systems, they would take care of their customers. They didn’t. The level on our home was the equivalent of smoking 80 cigarettes per day And we have two children, and children are 10 to 12 times more likely to develop cancer due to radon exposure. Materials are cheap, if you wipe the wall with a napkin, white paint comes off of the wall and that’s not even with a chemical on the napkin. The caulking in the bathroom separated from the tub within the first week of moving in. You can feel tack strips throughout the carpet of the home, even though we asked multiple times for it to be fixed. It even cut my daughters toe. One of the walls was crooked, they fixed the wall, but never came back to paint it, so it’s just left the color of the putty or whatever they use which is not the color of the home even though we have requested it to be fixed. Honestly, it’s been horrible for a brand new home. Not the best experience by far, especially for how expensive these houses are. It’s more expensive to live in Utah than it is in California. ...
