The repair crew is great but these are very basic townhomes with a lot that could be better. The home buying process was difficult at best and the finishes are low end for the price.

Love the home but frustrated with lennar

Lennar misplaced $5,000 of our down payment and only fixed it when my husband went and looked at the numbers. Since moving in we’ve found many mistakes made in the home and whenever we try to text our agent or the manager about it and when our front landscaping will be done we get ghosted. Lennar also says they do the whole back fence but we were cut short with ours being a corner lot and the fence doesn’t extend to the corner it’s about ten feet short. It’s very frustrating as all of our neighbors have their whole back fence done except us. It would mean a lot if lennar finished the back ...

They lied about the HOA, and a pool and club house.

The home and value of the home is good. The people. We worked with are lying sacks of scum. They didn’t explain the Master HOA. They lied about a pool and clubhouse just to get us to buy. Good home, dishonest workers!

Horrible Experience.

They were incredibly convincing until we passed the time with our earnest money. They stated that Lennar cared, and even though they generally don’t install radon mitigation systems, they would take care of their customers. They didn’t. The level on our home was the equivalent of smoking 80 cigarettes per day And we have two children, and children are 10 to 12 times more likely to develop cancer due to radon exposure. Materials are cheap, if you wipe the wall with a napkin, white paint comes off of the wall and that’s not even with a chemical on the napkin. The caulking in the bathroom ...

Got Lied to

My agent told me that my work vehicle would be okay to park in the neighborhood, but a week or two after moving in, the Hoa President stated that it was not allowed. Now we’re in a big financial bind to either find another place to live and move or to find a place to move my truck and end up paying a monthly rent for that. It was a terrible lie that got us in this place.

Communication from loan officer was awful. When concern were brought up we received bare minimum responses. When the idea was brought up to switch lenders, loan officer became defensive and threatened to just cancel everything instead of trying to work it out. Terrible process of buying. The home has been great so far.

Great Home, Terrible Logistics

Home is wonderful. The logistics of buying were terrible. After we had closed Lennar tried to get us to pay a reinvestment fee of 2500 bucks, claiming they forgot to send it to title for closing. After 4-5 months of disputing they finally waived the charge. This was very frustrating and put quite a bad taste in our mouths. Because of this, we would only recommend buying from Lennar if it was a pre-lived in home. We would not recommend buying new from Lennar.

Lennar wants to close fast but then issues still within a month of closing

It’s a hit and miss with this builder. I have worked with a lot of new builds. I had an inspector come to look at the property. For the most part, it was good. With a few items pointed out. Lennar wanted to close really fast. I told and warned them it’s pretty fast and I don’t want a property rushed that I’ll see some misses. They guaranteed that. That’s not what happened. Closed and then a month in, I still have people coming into the house to fix things. Electrical switches not properly connected, hvac trips - came in and out several time and seems people were just diagnosing it ...

Lennar cuts every corner and does not honor its warranty. They are unresponsive, rude and do not do proper repairs.
