Lennar is a very different home build experience than most others. They pre-plan all the design and finishes. On 1 hand, it's kind of a bummer to have a new build and not have as much say in what finishes are in place, but it reduced my stress in not having to make those decisions. Had I had the ability to have some say, I may have chosen different options than what was pre-planned, as some of the smaller things (bathroom mirrors/hooks/holders) seem on the lower quality side, but other things were on the upgraded side, like the windows. Since everything is preplanned, the amount of time it takes for them to finish a home is so much faster. I picked out the home I wanted in May, before they even broke ground on the lot and I was moved in the first week of November--despite all the challenges of product shortages and back-orders in 2021!! They were extremely creative in finding workaround for the products they had difficulty procuring, and my cost for the home did not go up from the time I was offered the home/lot in July, to signing the contract, to closing in November. There were no surprise fees or costs. I went through this process without the help of my realtor (which I wouldn't do again), but I don't feel like we lost out on anything or was at a disadvantage without a realtor. Overall, I'm very happy with the process and my home. My home consultant(s) kept me in the loop all the way and was very good at maintaining communication and answering my questions or concerns. My husband was stationed out of state with the military during the last few months our home was being built and throughout closing and move-in and my consultant helped to make the process as easy for me as possible. Lennar is hands down the best builder in Utah! Every other builder has a base price and then have upgrades with a lot of extra cost. Lennar has the lowest lot premium by far. If you are not building with Lennar, you are going to pay way more then what you expect. Lennar's ONLY upgrade is if you want a third car garage or not. Included in their price is a Smart Home already installed, countertops, appliances etc. They don't have any surprises. The cost they give you, is what you pay. No extra fees or hidden costs. Lennar is the best!

Shoddy workmanship, cheap materials used, Four months since closed and still finding problems and the majority of the previous issues have yet to be addressed.

I’m satisfied with my new home

Love the company and home buying experience. We HATE the level lock. It doesn't connect with the rest of the smart home features on ring. Only works on blue tooth so we can't unlock it unless we are at home. It just sucks and we wish we had a key pad like our neighbors.

Great floorplans, great quality and features that you definitely want in a new build. Easy to work with and kept us informed through the whole process.

Andrea was really awesome to work. Responsive, kind, and knowledgeable. The workmanship of the home is nearly perfect. But the group is very quick in responding to concerns and fixing any issues we have. And unfortunately, in this crazy market, I’m not sure one can get that great of value for a home but we are more than happy with the townhome overall.

It was a positive experience, the lennar team was always attentive and ready to answer any questions, everything was delivered on time and with quality.

Not happy whatsoever. There has been multiple issues with my home. They have been dragging their feet on fixing them. The quality of workmanship is horrible compared to a house I sold that was built in 96. You also think they’d work on soundproofing knowing it’s a townhome community close to a highway, but no, you can hear everything. Their banking individuals during the buying process were also horrible, they dragged their feet and made promises they eventually broke and I ended up with a more reputable institution. If I were you, I’d stay away from Lennar. Treats it like the plague and get away. ... More

Beautiful home & great customer service!

Lennar has great architecture and design, I fell in love with the design when I first looked at the model homes. Lennar's feature everything included is also a great experience of buying Lennar.

The process moved very quickly. Overall I am happy I built with Lennar. I am still waiting on items from my walk through to be completed (5 months) and other work items I submitted over a month ago. I am having many issues with the contractors driving onto my property and creating huge holes. I have tried to reach out to Lennar and I still don’t have a reply. Overall, the value is great and once they start building it is very quick and they do stay on schedule.
