We’ve had nothing but trouble trying to get warranty service requests complete. No follow up or follow through. Before we closed, we received very prompt assistance, now that we are in the home, nobody will call us back. We’ve submitted five or six service requests for items we found that need fixing and I’m waiting here on a work day for somebody to come address our concerns. I have no idea when because customer service won’t respond to me. We are left out in the cold so to speak.

I want to thank Eugen and Christopher for their help and kindness in assisting my brother with buying his house.

Our experience with Lennar has been mixed. The buying process went smoothly, communication was good, and the home was finished on time. Overall, the purchase experience was positive and the quality of the home appears solid so far. After moving in, we noticed a few issues. There are some grading concerns around the property that we will be requesting to have addressed. These seem fixable, but based on our experience so far, I am not very confident in how they will be handled. The biggest frustration has been with the appliances. Within the first few weeks, we discovered that one appliance already had a known issue and an open case with Samsung before we even took possession. We were never informed of this ahead of time. We then ran into another appliance issue shortly after moving in. For a brand new home, this was very disappointing and time consuming to deal with. The Lennar warranty representative, Harold, was also not helpful. I raised concerns about having multiple appliance issues so soon after move in and did not receive a response addressing those concerns. That lack of communication made the situation even more frustrating. We expected everything to be fully functional in a new construction home. While the buying experience was good and the home appears well built, the early warranty experience has lowered our confidence. We have had minor issues with the home. Lennar was extremely responsive in addressing those issues. We wound highly recommend Lennar homes.

seller concierge was not accurate in communications, gave flat out wrong info multiple times which jeapordized escrow. would not work with lennar again.

Thank you to Lily the one from finances until now she’s been helping me she’s very seeet and friendly. I revoke my review to Kimberly Morris. Not a good quality final inspector. We are a first home buyer we don’t really know about homes she assured us everything is fine when we started moving in we found all the error especially the dryer vent if not installed and the sink is not even attached good. Eugene was an incredible sales person who listened to our situation and guided us to a solution that enabled to buy our amazing new home. The entire sales experience was one of open collaboration on trust with a shared goal of getting us settled into the home. Out of 5 stars, I rate Eugene and the folks that assisted (particularly Christopher on the mortgage front) as 10 stars. Hard to say enough kind and truthful things about the relationships built in our purchase.

Everyone we have worked with up until now has been very helpful and informative. So far we are very pleased. Been here about 5 weeks now.

The home and neighborhood are outstanding, but what kept me with Lennar was the no-pressure sales experience with Eugene. He listened to what I wanted, found us a great deal on an even better fit than I thought, and let us buy when it was right for us.

There was no information on where to pay and when to pay the mortgage payments. I didn't receive emails or postal mails about the selling of the mortgages or the mortgage payments

I feel the experience of buying has been good. Eugene was available and greatly helped me in purchasing my home. I would like to comment on a few matters. The quartz island in the kitchen is not a good choice. The stone is fragile and takes a great deal of time to keep clean. There are too few electrical outlets and consequentially I have to resort to extension cords which are unsightly. The wire shelves are not good, do not look nice and bend under weight. The shower heads that are mounted high on the walls are impractical. A shower head with a hand held cord would be much better. Several of the inside doors hit each other when opening and closing. The lumber for the fencing is fragile. Such a thin cut wood that is stapled. I was quite shocked to see that. Very likely will not hold up well. And I also want to mention the common areas that are nicely installed but the landscaper did a poor job of not caring for the trees. Many of the trees have died due to neglect. Sprinklers do not reach the trees. And these trees look very shabby. And this of course is visual eyesore. Some skylights on the single story house I bought would have helped with the lack of indoor lighting. Inside lighting is poor at best even with all the inside lights turned on. The Lennar team was really nice during the purchase process. It was too much electronic signing, not enough explanation of the entire process. At least with in person, paper signing of closing documents, important pages were explained. I got zero explanation of what I signed, no time to read through everything. About a month after I closed, I texted a member of the sales team and the reply I got was not very nice. The reply was, “this number is not a good contact number now.” It was a weekend day when I reached out to this person and I just feel like as a member of the Lennar team, this person should have helped me regardless and I was surprised by the reply. I feel like this person didn’t want to help me anymore after I closed on my house. The response time to get warranty work scheduled is kind of slow. After I put in my request, somebody contacted me right away. I ended up canceling a warranty work order because I was trying to set up everything on the same day, so I can only miss one day of work. I couldn’t wait for calls/ emails to schedule. It seems like more than a week went by when I heard from someone about the other items. ... More

Overall, the house is very nice. The floor plan is exactly what we were looking for as we down-sized. Complaints: It is designed for the Jolly Green Giant. I cannot reach the rods to control the blinds. The blinds are really nice, though. We had to have them replaced so this 5'4" homeowner could control the blinds. In the bathroom, I could not reach the shower head. My 5'11" husband could, though. There were no security bars in the shower and only one towel ring for the primary bathroom, yet it had two sinks. Not very sanitary. We paid to have the blind rods adjusted, added an additional towel ring and two security bars. BTW, we were not even offered any of this because the builders had already decided what was in the house, even though they were still building it. My last complaint is that this is a 'smart home' purchased, evidently, by dumb buyers. We are still trying to get all the appliances registered. I really like the portal they offer for some of the problems, though. Unfortunately, they closed my complaints even though I said we still have problems. The sales staff and all the other employees have been great, though. The problem may be that Lennar does not make consessions for anything out of the ordinary. ... More

This is our THIRD Lennar home. One in CA and two in WA. You are working with people that treat you like family. They care about customer service, quality of their product, and every person we have interacted with have been the best of the best! The two homes in WA, were homes we purchased from living in another state. Everyone from Lennar was very patient with us and we are a low tech couple which we had our own challenges. This was the only reason why we did not give a 5 star rating. It was nothing that the folks at Lennar created. The finishes on our home are beautiful and they are part of the EI policy. The value is amazing for what you pay for a brand new home with the latest in technology and energy efficiency. We love our new home and our neighborhood. It’s beautiful. ... More

I bought three homes from Lennar, good quality for the reasonable price in that area. They were also super easy to work throughout the buying process. Love them!

Since moving in, we have discovered a lot of subpar Building practices, craftsmanship, and quality of materials. Although addressed with the local customer care team, our backyard is a swamp. Cabinetry finishes failing from a poor cover-up of damage Prior to delivering the home. The subgrade siding material is flaking off on its edges. Our floor is sinking around the entry to the garage. Just to highlight a few of our issues. Starting to feel a little bit like we were scammed a bit.

My wife and I could not be more impressed with how the home buying experience we had with Lennar went. Lennar was in constant contact with us whenever an issue popped up. The whole process took a bit over a month from start to finish. The house is amazing. We couldn't be happier especially being the first home buying experience. Thank you Lennar for everything that you do.

Air conditioner went out on day three in my new home. According to the workman, the air conditioner was not installed correctly Repairs took nearly week as a new part had to be ordered. Ten days from complaint to correction. Cannot get the floors free of marks even after cleaning them six times. Aside from those two things, I absolutely love my new home.

We are overall pleased with our purchase as we got a great neighborhood and a good house. We also knew what we were getting moving in. If you go in understanding that there's plenty of poor quality items, you'll be much happier. The paint is atrocious. I think they must skip primer and only use one coat, that's for inside and outside. And the drywall is horrible. It's so soft if you push your nail into it, it'll leave a mark. We plan on repainting in the next year and expect that will help They mostly make the process easy and it was pretty fast. The employees are all very nice. We live in a construction area but we're impressed with how clean the construction areas are kept, way better than the other builders nearby. We couldn't afford the more upscale builders but we feel we got a good value. There's just plenty that we'll have to take care of. Oh, and the included appliances are super low quality. We're saving up to replace them when they break in two years. Honestly, we love the layout and the neighborhood. We'd recommend the builder to anyone wanting a new home that comes in with eyes open and knows they aren't a high end builder. They are a mass builder and better than a lot of the other mass builders. ... More

This whole process has been the easiest experience of my life…which is very rare with home buying. From the first look and intro to the realtor (Sarah is an exceptional woman!), to the mortgage process, and everything there after my experience has been above board!! I received what I felt was an amazing deal and with zero haggling…they gave me the best offer upfront! During my new home orientation there was an issue with carpet noted. The timeframe in between closing didn’t allow for it to be fixed..,so, it wasn’t finished on move-in. Communication was above board the whole way though. I submitted the work order once I moved in and with zero fuss, they immediately responded and scheduled the company to come fix it at a time convenient to my schedule. After being in the home for almost 2 months, I have had zero issues with anything. The whole team and their established processes are in order and well above other builders I have seen. Kudos! ... It had been 40 years since we bought a home. We had great support in the process from Lennar in buying this one. The home concierge was a great idea as a single point of contact. The home orientation was helpful, and the walk through to identify a punch list to fix was very good. Lennar was outstanding in taking care of all identified items. The Lennar track app was easy to use and kept us informed along the process from purchase to closing. The only minor improvement I would suggest is establishing the home concierge point of contact sooner in the process. Before that point, it felt like we were getting contacted by many Lennar reps, and it felt a little overwhelming. No other issues. Overall a good experience ... More
