Build quality seems to be good. Time will tell on that. Finish was during winter, so it has to be repainted since it was done at 42 degrees and rain that night and temps dropped into the 30's. Lennar said they would do that. House was settling within a couple of weeks where drywall nails were showing and cracks and peeling at ceiling to wall junction on second floor were apparent. Said they would fix at 1 year walk thru and took care of immediate ones right away. Customer service on issues after move in was excellent. Ruby was fantastic. We liked the fact that we did not have to choose every light, faucet, paint colors, etc. The Lennar people do an excellent job of choosing those items.

Everything about buying the home was pretty basic but I did notice that we didn’t get to do as many things as others (no appt with design group, no response to adding more flooring, forgot to mention certain appts). That was pretty frustrated but the people I met for final walk through and closing were AMAZING to say the least. Helped me spot certain things that were wrong or had to be replaced. Lennar will not make even tiny customizations. I have a huge bathtub and a small shower and I hit my head on the top door support getting in and out. I would rather have a big shower and small tub. We have to step into the deep tub to open the bathroom window or open the blinds therefore the window and blinds stay closed as not really there. Water lines are split to minimize the feet of tube used and that causes the showers and faucets furthest away from continuous hot water heater to take a long time for water to get hot. Separate lines to each faucet would solve this and a manifold on ...

Purchasing the house was straight forward. Fortunately my team is very experienced with financing properties across the US as Lennar’s representative was not. My team made it much easier. That said the follow up gentleman who manages the repairs and questions (et cetera) is PHENOMENAL! I reeealy want to say his name as he needs a promotion.

Overall, a great home for us, but kitchen cabinets are an inch less in depth as typical (11 inches instead of 12), and corner cabinets are inaccessable. Also internet company Lennar contracted with never came through. Will probably be at least six more months before they do. This is not Lennars fault, but they knew in advance that internet was going to be delayed and never told us.

Overall, we had average experience. We wish the communication about closing date can be more transparency, we understand many factors could cause delay and actually are ok with it since we are not in hurry to move in. However, the last minute change on the home inspection date due to the construction is not ready as promised adding challenges to our moving timeline and extra time to coordinate and reschedule it.

Lennar got the house done on time, kept us updated bi-weekly. Everything was on schedule and professional. When things came up after we moved in they responded to us and fixed issues. If we needed a subcontractor like sprinkler person we got the phone number. Everyone was very nice. No bad surprises. The houses are not high end by any means but nice for the money. We are happy.

Lennar is a decent home builder but their trades are very lazy and rush through everything. Think I went through seriously no exaggeration half a roll off tape for each color sure walk through and stuff they did fix they did very poorly. So here we sit looking at the lackadaisical work and dealing with the eye sores that come. The skeleton is good but the dry wall and painters in particular were bad. That’s where all my issue aline is those two trades.

Being in the construction field of work, I’ve heard plenty of things about Lennar and a majority of big name builders. As well as knowing other Lennar home owners. Needless to say, my expectations were not too high. I went into this whole process with caution and with plenty of questions and concerns. I was surprised at how easy it was to purchase my home even without a realtor. I had no trouble getting my questions answered promptly. Sales Agent Debbie was GREAT! But be shrewd in purchasing! During the purchase process I asked if they would reduce purchase price due to rising interest rates. I was told that they don't do that. HOWEVER, after I purchased the house I found out they sold the same model of house on a larger corner lot for about $30k less than my price. I also saw on their website that they are selling the same model in a future build for almost $60k less then they charged me.

We have a pair of defective double panel window install and found out after we close the sale. Garding and landscaping need to work on how to manage the water drainage system works for the long term of the house. Buying a house is long term investment perhaps and I hope the builder can focus more on quality control and extend customer care after the house is closed.

The kitchen came equipped with 4 appliances. There were installation issues with 2 of them. Our first morning in the home, we could smell gas under the cook top. We called the emergency number provided by Lennar, only to be told this was not considered an emergency. We had the gas company come out, who said the gas line had been installed improperly. After a week, the dishwasher stopped draining. We went through the procedure required by Lennar to report the issue. It took 7 days to file a claim.
