The home buying process was amazing. It went very smooth with very few problems. After we moved in we started to see many problems with craftsmanship. Walls that are not straight. Carpet tacks that we step on in bare feet. (Fixed these by tapping them down) when internet was installed the company any was told we had multiple outlets, only one was available. The plans clearly showed others. The internet people said at least we had one. Other townhouses next to mine they actually wall boarded them over. This is why I have given the company a lower score. I really hope that we do not find ...

The individuals we worked with were great, but the quality of some of the materials for the price paid were below expectations. Since most of this was done through subcontractors, and given the region we live in, it is understandable that this was the case. This can be very subjective though given our move from a well priced area of the country to the PNW that is heavily overpriced for, in my opinion, no real good reason.

You do get a lot with the new home. Fence, grass, bark, trees and shrubs. Good luck with getting timely responses and fixes to warranty issues. They could greatly improve in this area.

Their workmanship is far below industrial average. When you live in the house, you encounter more and more issues which you did not see during initial inspection. Highlighted below are few of them. 1. All the kitchen/bathroom pantry, cupboards and doors are poorly built in and easy to break. 2. Bathroom sliding doors are installed in wrong way 3. All the sinks do not have enough space to hold soap holder and some of them are not big enough to wash hands 4. Toilet paper holder are so small that Toilet paper roll can not fit there 5. Scratched bathtub 6. Upstairs bathrooms have almost no ...

Love my home but it was a rough start

Upon moving in found out that my water had been turned off. Lennar had the city turn off my water which cost me $100 to have it turned off after hours. The day after moving in I went to do a load of laundry in the upstairs laundry room. About 30 minutes into the load water started pouring from the ceiling and into my dining room downstairs. I immediately turned off the water to the washer but it was too late. It turns out the drainage hose from the washer wasn't secured properly. Severe damage had been done. Repairs took 9-10 days and included commercial fans, ripping out floors, insulation ...

Lennar - While I appreciate the efforts of the folks we've worked with

While I appreciate the efforts of the folks we've worked with directly, there is so little quality oversight. They are building these as quickly, and as cheaply, as possible. There is an apparent lack of quality in virtually every element of the construction. A month in and we have massive cracks in the drywall, drainage issues, paint issues, door issues, electrical issues, HVAC issues...

These are slap together homes contracted with the lowest bid subcontractors. They do NOT care about quality. They want you to believe you are their priority. Once you sign. Goodluck with any warranty repair. Their contract states they have 60 days and we have been waiting double.

I think the overall quality is poor, have had to have flooring repaired three times. Now we need to have the grouting re done and have only been in the house 2 months. The tree that was planted outside our house is dead. It was in poor condition when planted.

Lennar - The “Celebration” appointment should be called a “walkthrough”
- David S.

The “Celebration” appointment should be called a “walkthrough” to discuss status of home prior to closing and what needs to be addressed prior to that time. The home had many issues. Construction materials still on the premises while a “celebration banner” was being put up! Very disappointed in the meeting. This is our 6th new construction home. Past builders had the home spotless by the time the walkthrough occurred. This will be our first and last Lennar home. Thankyou.

Most annoying mortgage process I’ve ever been through. Happy with the home tho

The mortgage process has been stupidly complex and poorly organized. I am still get requests for documents and signatures two weeks afte we’ve closed because of errors and poor communication. I’m satIsfied with the overall build quality and workmanship. That said as we spend more time in the home I’m noticing that the painting contractors don’t seem to have been very detail oriented as were find drips and paint marks on molding and ceiling. We also would have opted to upgrade the paint to a satin finish had we realized that eggshell was going to be used. The contractors who put up the fence ...

Bainbridge NextGen 2020 Review

Love the space that the house provides and location was what we were looking for in a home. Things I would like to suggest: 1. Allow buyer 1 or 2 modification during the building process. example - make patio larger if space is available to build it. 2. Seal the Grout on the tile through the house so homeowners don't have to do it in a new home. Its Takes the homeowner 2-3 days to do it in a house of this size (3082 sq ft) when you would just like to enjoy your new home. Complaint: 1. Multiple flooring issues in home hard wood floor and under carpet areas. Many areas crack and pop as if ...

Lennar - I found the construction manager and the followup great.

I found the construction manager and the followup great. The sales people were also very responsive and helpful. The overall construction was less than I expected for the price that I paid...ie the backyard requires more fill in order to stabilize the patio, the bathroom window is clear and look directly out on a neighbors entry, the grouting was very poorly done in many areas.

Lennar - The initial homebuying experience was decent, and the sales team
- Lauren W.

The initial homebuying experience was decent, and the sales team was helpful throughout the process. However, I will say I've had trouble getting a response to questions or help with issues with the home since closing day. When kindly asking the sales office who I should talk to about my gutter mysteriously overflowing in light rain weeks after moving in, I was told multiple times it wasn't Lennar's problem before finally being given information on how to make a claim with the home warranty. The claim was denied by the home warranty stating it's a "homeowner maintenance issue," despite ...
