The individuals we worked with were great, but the quality of some of the materials for the price paid were below expectations. Since most of this was done through subcontractors, and given the region we live in, it is understandable that this was the case. This can be very subjective though given our move from a well priced area of the country to the PNW that is heavily overpriced for, in my opinion, no real good reason.

Upon moving in found out that my water had been turned off. Lennar had the city turn off my water which cost me $100 to have it turned off after hours. The day after moving in I went to do a load of laundry in the upstairs laundry room. About 30 minutes into the load water started pouring from the ceiling and into my dining room downstairs. I immediately turned off the water to the washer but it was too late. It turns out the drainage hose from the washer wasn't secured properly. Severe damage had been done. Repairs took 9-10 days and included commercial fans, ripping out floors, insulation ...

The workmanship ,details final finish in out was very sloppy. Have someone inspect the work while in process and be more detail oriented.

We have a pair of defective double panel window install and found out after we close the sale. Garding and landscaping need to work on how to manage the water drainage system works for the long term of the house. Buying a house is long term investment perhaps and I hope the builder can focus more on quality control and extend customer care after the house is closed.

While I appreciate the efforts of the folks we've worked with directly, there is so little quality oversight. They are building these as quickly, and as cheaply, as possible. There is an apparent lack of quality in virtually every element of the construction. A month in and we have massive cracks in the drywall, drainage issues, paint issues, door issues, electrical issues, HVAC issues...

These are slap together homes contracted with the lowest bid subcontractors. They do NOT care about quality. They want you to believe you are their priority. Once you sign. Goodluck with any warranty repair. Their contract states they have 60 days and we have been waiting double.

I think the overall quality is poor, have had to have flooring repaired three times. Now we need to have the grouting re done and have only been in the house 2 months. The tree that was planted outside our house is dead. It was in poor condition when planted.

It's difficult to get the house u want if u have a house to sell Also there is entirely too much paperwork. The prices on ur homes changed almost daily, eventually pricing me out of the home I really wanted. Have been very attentive to issues needing repair

No frills and virtually no choices

A generic boilerpate experience from beginning to end, having many rules and responses are usually NO. Cookie cutter with a few thrown in freebies to make you feel like you've received something for the money. My recommendation for buyers is do not buy any of the upgrades unless you absolutely require them upon move-in. Then when you want to add things, after close, the cost will be considerably less than what they offer through their third party design center during purchase. Their responses to problems are fantastic.... Though I wouldn't expect anything less based on the experience.

The second realtor for Lennar homes was amazing. My score would be higher if I had started with her. First impressions are everything. The first Lennar Realtor kept playing games with us and not being honest. I finally went to the head person over this area and was assigned to a realtor who would answer my questions. We love our home and very happy with it.

First disappointment is that I wasn’t made aware of the promotions going on at the time I went to visit the community. property I tried to talked them into transferring my deposit to one of the models on promotion but got denied. Moving day came, it was a hot weekend and AC wasn’t working at all. Made an emergency call to have it checked. Found the AC had faulty wiring, 2 nights without AC. BTW, filter was also filthy and customer service did replaced it but it took 6 weeks. Garage, patio and porch are still looking filthy with discoloration. Sales experience was not a great experience. The premium lot charge was not explained well and varied from lot to lot, and was never mentionend in early discussions of homes. The construction team is a whole other story. They were great from the walk throughs to a couple of repairs needed after moving in. Well organized and timely.

Home ownership at Lennar

The townhome is a quick build, no frills, very basic shower heads and the plastic toilets lids, single paint on walls, carpet has no pad very cheap carpet, with tack strip that was not nailed down properly and walking in the house with socks my feet get picked, sloppy trim work and texture finish

The home and sales team were great. They were very helpful. My main challenge was with the Lennar mortgage where I did not get the interest rate I was originally expected due to delays and lack of response. Then when I finally agreed to buy down the rate and signed all of the contracts and paper work then I was told 2 working days prior to closing that I could not get my rate. Very disappointed that I did not get the rate that I was expecting but everything else was great.

They had us go sign papers across town during an ice storm knowing full well that it wouldn’t record because the trades had not been able get to the house to fix the blue tape issues due to the weather. The next day we were supposed to have our final walk through. I emailed them that morning at 9:00 am asking if it was going to happen at 11:00 because the weather was still bad. No response. We drove to the house to find no one there. They informed us while we were sitting out front of the house it wasn’t going to happen so our move was delayed a week. The condition at closing was as is from the walkthrough. Blue tapes were removed without item taken care off. Issues had to be repeated numerous times prior to it being taken care off even when documented. The space to the attic and in between floor was painted shut..now either a knife or something must be use to cut out in order to assess the location. At the end, Tyler had to work on resolving most of the issues on his own in order to close. Closing was pushed by a week. I have purchased Lennar homes in the past, however this house will be my last.

If you ever want to build a house with Lennar make sure to bring a realtor on your first visit. The building process is very straight forward, you get what you get with Lennar no added features other than picking your finishes. Final finished product 6.8/10
