They seemed to go with what was cheapest for them, while charging market prices.

I don’t think I would buy from Lennar again, and would not recommend them. It seems their goal was , where you would want a builder that takes pride in their workmanship.

No help to resolve warranty issues. Contractors making appointments and not showing up to appointments. Unprofessional and inexperienced contractors showing up to make repairs. Will never recommend Lennar to anyone.

The company was unwilling to consider issues and minor changes during construction (we would have paid for) that resulted in significant costs to us, e.g. electrical outlet locations, pipe under drive to facilitate front grass irrigation, heat pump location (next to dining room window?), no warranty on window blinds, interior wall paint colors, house entry platforms to mitigate entrance into home with disability walkers, main entrance door lacking visibility of any human form on the entry porch, no counter or cabinetry in laundry room and fireplace installation tilted about half centimeter, ...

Lennar responded:
Good afternoon Michael, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are sorry to hear we did not meet your expectations. If there were any warrantable issues or questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to your local customer care team by submitting an online request through your Lennar Account. This ensures your request is documented and prioritized for a quicker resolution.Sincerely, Lennar Corporate Customer Care

Lennar does a good job of informing you of the home buying experience: no changes, no alterations, no need to haggle over additions, etc. You get a walk through of the model home which was mostly, but not totally, identical to the finishings and workmanship of your soon to be home. The selling agent was very friendly, knowledgeable and overall helpful through the process. The mortgage agent, although we didn't end up going with them because of other issues, was quite good and would even consider using them in the future. The construction manager was rude, but has an understandably hard ...

Lennar representatives are very well trained to make up answers on the go - this is everyone else’s, customer service, construction manager, etc. As we get close to closing their objective is to just get your signature to close and not really fix things that were found during inspection. A lot of the work seems to be done in a hurry and does not meet the exaggeration of Lennar representatives. Overall, they are not trustworthy!

First of all, I want to say our Customer Service representative, Hayley, has done a lot to pull these marks back from the brink of zeros. Now that I have that out of the way, let me begin. We had to do everything remote as we lived out of town at the onset of our decision to buy. First of all we weren’t informed that by going to see a house without a realtor that we were forced to complete the process without a realtor. This in the end seemed to be an effort to take advantage of us since we were treated like someone who needed representation and didn’t have any. The communication was ...

Sales are unprofessional, missed a few documents when it comes to signing something. Build quality feels like they rushed to complete the construction. Due to the current market situation, we didn't have a choice but to accept.

The paint and the painters they use are the cheapest possible, there are spots where there is barely any paint. We have had 2 major leaks. No pad and apartment grade carpet which for a house that is over $500k is very sad. They say they put your front and back yards in, ok yes they do but they are put in by people who know nothing about landscape. No soil under the sod, the wrong plants. They put trees too close to the houses that will grow way to tall, big and fast.

Bad experience with stuart and the Ivan (Customer rep). This is regarding the dent on the refrigerator. David inspected (Sep 20th) the house before we moved in. And found there is a big dent to the refrigerator and he contacted the respective team to replace it with a new one. Seems they agreed for a replacement (I don't know who he contacted). Till now no one contacted me for a replacement. It's been months and no one contacted me on this. I was not expecting this kind of service from Lennar. This is our first Lennar home. Very disappointed! Garage door not working after purchase, took two weeks for someone to come out! Lousy customer service. They are nice before closing, afterwards, zero customer service. Run, don't walk away from this builder! Cheap appliances, cheap paint used on walls, We moved from AZ where the builder actually cared about their customers. Very disappointed and let down by this builder. Would NEVER buy another Lennar home or recommend to anyone.

After living in the home for a week, you start to notice the cheap materials use and terrible workmanship. All of our knobs had tiny paint splatter, the carpet wasn't vacuumed - not even once (we have a toddler running around), dried paint can be found throughout the home, nails still protruding out through the carpet to name a few issues. Overall terrible experience, we felt rushed through our new home orientation and caught what we can.

Never going with Lennar and would recommend others to do the same. I bought Lennar's property Canyon Creek at Bothell WA and they constructed homes right behind my backyard. My home's privacy is compromised, obviously they did this after selling houses in the row and then building behind. Untrustworthy.

I am a new home owner in Autumn Vista community. Closed home in July 2022. First construction was delayed by 1 month. Next, home orientation date wasn’t flexible at all. We had to take online orientation where we missed several things to inspect like there was a chip in the flooring, the main door won’t lock without a struggle. Lennar just fixed the flooring and no date on when they will fix the main door. The promised AC unit wasn’t provided still as I write this review. What sucks is that the homes that closed a month later are getting the AC units now. When I call, their response is very ...

We are beyond sad for agreeing to go ahead with a Lennar home. Feels like we got a lemon though it was a "brand new home". Almost nothing working, plumbing is substandard with leaks all over the place. Electric quality is so crappy that they switched the wiring. Just crazy, never heard of anything like this.
