My experience with Lennar has been mixed, but the negatives ultimately outweigh the positives. To start, the home buying process was easy and streamlined, which is one of the few highlights. However, I strongly recommend using a third-party lender, as Lennar sells your mortgage off and better options are often available elsewhere. Where things fall apart is in the quality of the build. They installed a set of steps going into garage that is not safe, their response, do it yourself! Inquired why they put a latch on screen with nowhere to latch the lock, their response we don't care. Any inquiries are met with uncaring response of continued referral. The staff in Liberty Lake is uncaring and unhelpful. Once they get their money, they no longer care. I wouldn't recommend Lennar to anyone, wished I hadn't bought from them, crooks and uncaring company.

The main factor contributing to this low rating is all the incorrect information we were fed along the way by the new home consultant/agent. The most egregious being that we were told they would NOT be building any neighboring houses to one side of us. The agent even chuckled when I asked if we would have a neighbor on that side of our house because there was a big hillside appearing unsuitable to build a home on. I asked this question multiple times during the initial visit. This home had a $10k site/lot markup and we assumed it was due to the perk of having no neighbors on one side. After ...

Nice home but make sure to hire a home inspector before closing. Found things that needed to be addressed, but Lennar fixed almost everything by closing. Final walk through I found a few things not fixed which they addressed right away upon my walk through on day before close. Just had a warranty claim on an electric outlet and they arrived and repaired within an hour. Great service!!

They don’t follow their own craftsmanship guidelines and instead do patch jobs that make things look worse. Spent time with the rep taping quality issues in the house just to have someone else come in and rip the tape off without ever fixing. At the final walk through I mentioned how nothing was even fixed and the guy didn’t care. They know that their contract forces you to close on an unfinished house. Lennar has gone downhill from what they used to be.

By far the most frustrating experience of a lifetime. All my financial records I submitted somehow disappeared. Buying process was confusing. No loyalty to those that were on the magical list. Withholding of vital information about the lot. Poor workmanship on concrete, paint, and framing. Would NEVER recommend to anyone.

My home purchasing experience with Lennar was seamless. Being assigned a homebuyer concierge, Lauren, was brilliant. It was great having a contact available to guide and answer questions. Escrow officer Stephanie was also instrumental in my positive experience. Cole gave a great orientation and walk-through. It didn’t stop there. Lennar provides an app which gives information for tasks to keep our homes in good condition. These seasonal recommendations are especially helpful for those experiencing a new climate.
