In the past couple months we’ve lived here the HVAC has broken twice… the oven flips the breaker. The hot water heater leaks. Our POC at Lennar was not helpful- in fact it seemed that she actively tried to schedule our 3rd party inspector to come at incorrect times so we had to reschedule with him, as you can imagine that was expensive. Our other POC on site was wholly unknowledgeable about our home. He had not idea where filters should go for the HVAC, and at one point told us our unit didn’t need filters. That being said. This experience was not one I would recommend. After all the trials and tribulations I still had work being done on my home the day I settled and it was like pulling teeth to correct what was identified was wrong. Not from just me but also my paid professional inspector. My upstairs primary bedroom makes popping noises as we walk across the “brand new floor” as does the steps. Feels like I’m in a old home. We had so many issues but didn’t get fix at all or on time I would never recommend friends to buy Lennar home because of all cheap material and price which is not worth it compare to houses we bought previously. Still waiting for garage door to be changed , loft to get fixed , front door key not working , cheap flooring to get fixed and so many other issues.

I had an incredibly awful experience with the customer service of Lennar. The company did not work in a timely fashion for necessary community approvals, but did not disclose this until the evening prior to closing. Days with an unknown closing date followed with Lennar completely lacking in communication, concern that my household goods were already on their way from across the country, and telling me on multiple occasions that I should be calling the government agency to get the approval faster. I understand the labor and material shortage due to COVID but want get the new home completed even with delay. However, the new home has many items not finished such as the garage door. We have been forced to accept new house with many uncompleted things and defects. We have given Lennar construction supervisor a list of things need be improved but has nothing done so far.

Don’t purchase a new house because they put them up too fast with many errors. The homes are not sealed and protected from outside rodents. Let wide open while being built and rodents nest in these new home and the builders deny resolving the issue.

I recently bought a home with Lennar and it was a horrible experience all around. Worst customer service but I could have been ok with that had the workmanship been up to par however when I did my walk through cabinetry molding was literally hanging from the ceiling, floors were the wrong color, tack strips were completely exposed under the carpets resulting is blood being drawn multiple times from stepping on them, no appliances or hot water, and that’s just to name a few of the many issues found just based on workmanship.
