Workmanship is poor in some areas.

Excellent service

It is annoying that the board between the bedroom and the bathrooms has a high metal piece as the divider and allows for people to stub their toes and even though the inspector stated that needed to be fixed the builder brushed it off and stated thats how lennar has us do it. Even though the title should be even with that piece. Also the doors are all to low to the ground so you can't even have rugs in your bathrooms. The paint that is used seems cheap and you can see every fingerprint on the walls. Closing was the worst experience and such a hassle. Closing was too far away and not accommodating to anyone. ... Great buying experience

From the first model tour to the last white glove inspection, the Lennar home buying experience was comfortably catered and of quality. I’m happy with the staff, partner lender, neighborhood, home, amenities and value.

My overall home buying experience was very good. The team was awesome and very knowledgeable. They made my transition in buy my new home very smooth. I really appreciate Lennar as good cooperation to purchase a home.

Workmanship is quite good for this price range. The folks doing the actual construction were very knowledgeable, helpful, and quite responsive. They get high marks for trying to do everything right. The sales personnel is a different story. We found them to be less than candid in many areas. There is also an apparent lack of communication between Lennar and their subsidiary companies, making the whole purchase process unpleasant.

I’m sorry to have to leave this comment but we’ve lived in our home for ~6mos and this issue is still as relevant today as it was when we moved in. Our new home was painted with flat paint all over, to include the bathrooms and kitchen. I have never heard of such a thing. I thought Lennar has been building homes for decades and definitely expected this to be a lesson learned many years ago. This is such a negative financial and visual inconvenience. We Can Not practice home maintenance as the walls can not be cleaned up. My husband was a painter for 5 years (residential and commercial) and this was unheard of. This has caused an immediate UNPLANNED financial obligation. I can’t even cook a simple meal without fear of damaging the walls. Finger prints on walls that can not be cleaned. This is very disappointing. At minimum I expect flat paint to be exempt from kitchens and bathrooms. Cluster Mailboxes !?!?!? Why??? The home buyers clearly were left out of this decision. I feel like I live back in an apartment complex 20 years ago. Not to mention, No One mailbox is located in the cluster close to their house. You have to pass 1 or 2 clusters to get to your mail. I’m curious as to why, especially in a neighborhood like this, are we not receiving our mail delivered to the door like all other single family homes. We upgraded our home but downgraded on the amenities..Not happy about stuff like this .... ... More

Good Builder to consider

Very unhappy with this community. Parking is horrible, walls are very thin, neighbors are rude and inconsiderate. Will be doing the very minimal time of my loan terms before I’m out of here.

In the 5 short months that I have lived in my home I have had to have several contractors back out to fix things that I feel you should not have to fix in less than 5 months. My hardwood floors have a gab that can easily be seen and collects crumbs and other debris that im told is an acceptable gab but looks horrible. And now I have a second location just not as bad as the first. I have an doorway that meets with the ceramic tile that hurts your feet if you step on it that does not get a transition plate due to the house not being DESIGNED with one. Getting the contractors back out to fix things has been an issue in itself. I have had several not show up even though they were scheduled. I have had contractors say they came out but had not. I have had to play Project Manager and provide update and statuses on the work to be done because there has not been much follow up on the jobs the contractor was assigned to do. I have been asked several times to sign off on work that was not done. To find out the customer service POC had no idea of the status. I spent a lot of money on this house and some areas look like I have lived in this house for years. There seem to be a lot of problems with these Lennar townhomes such as the cheap materials and bad workmanship. Cheap flooring, carpet coming apart, floor squeaking, paint overspray, ceiling uneven, bad HVAC work. The caps in the streey for the water are broken off and not replaced so there are big holes in the road where someone could step into. A lot of neighbors were lied to about the neighborhood including myself, we were told there would be no building behind our homes to block the mountain view which why i purchased here.

Prior to moving in...HOA had issues and still ongoing. Had 2 different building managers in course of new home being built. Overall poor communication.

Really enjoy house and floor plan. It is a really nice home

any one trying to buy with lanner please contact the people those buy house. They promise so many thinks but as soon you sign the contract they will forget you completely. I have so many issues with the builder and not solve any think. All workman ship is very poor and not good Job; Please ***think before

From start to now my whole experience was horrible with Lennar. Still having issues. They sold me a house without making the proper drainage. Even the site work is not done yet. The house is falling a part. Will Never ever buy from them and recommend to keep away from this company. The problems never end. After the closing almost every day we are having a fixing job.for example I’m expecting another crew today...! Ridiculous..!

Interior doors are not the best quality. Garage door is thin no insulation. Garage needs to be insulated. To few electrical outlets in garage. Trades need to talk to one another( paint on hinges on doors, nails coming through door trim and being covered up, floor grout not finished up )

1. Seller did not allow me to buy a home without signing Solar roof agreement. I was left with only two options, buy or sign for 20/20 plan. 20/20 plan is a hoax. ”First 20” indicates that it is a 20 year agreement. “Second 20” indicates 20% reduction in price per unit solar energy consumed from roof. In fact, instead of getting benefit, I am paying ~30% more per unit as compared to local grid. Furthermore, Solar billing is weird. They do not provide details of solar energy consumed but they charge for consumption. In other words, I am paying twice on solar energy I consumed (to local grid as well as Solar company). It seems Solar software/hardware is defective. So far, they are not able to provide details of consumption but send regularly bill with unit price ~30% more than the local grid. I am still waiting for answers from Solar. 2. Quality materials are not used for construction. For example: Patio-door outer-dark-brown-border material is detaching from outer wall. 3. They did not install many items described in the plan. It is hard to follow-up with the company. They gave home without really completing the home. 3. Many staff members are not trust worthy! The home buying process itself was great and Lucas the sales associate was very helpful and engaged throughout the process. However, after moving into our new home, it was like playing cat and mouse game trying to get work orders completed. Even for issues such as gas leak considered emergency took over a week to fix. As I'm writing this review, I had a water leak in my master bedroom 2 weeks ago and a Lennar staff member came to look at it himself and that was the last time I heard from anyone. Called and left message for him last week and called the warranty coordinator last week who said she'll follow up with a call "shortly" but never called back. ... More

No bad experience with Lennar so far

I am extremely pleased with my new Lenar home. The home was built within the estimated timeline and the quality of the work was 5 star. The work that needed to be completed within the 1 year warranty has been done in a timely fashion and very professionally. Highly recommend Lenar!!!

I love the community I love in here at Stonehaven. The homes are beautiful and the home buying process was made less stressful because of caring sales staff. The homes have great stylish modern features and both there town and singles are fairly spacious. Great location for shopping in all. I love my new home. Thanks Lennar!

Working with Lennar was very easy. Hebert sat us down and discussed all of our options. More importantly, what he said was going to be the final numbers, were indeed the final numbers! No surprises. No gimmicks or add-ons. Once in our new home we had a couple of small issues; light socket short circuit; garage door not closing; missing shelf. But once we put in a service request, I have to say they came and provided fixes to all of the things in the request. I was skeptical. . . VERY skeptical that we wouldn't have any problems but we have not yet. It's been GREAT!!
