Poor Communication and No Accountability

There us no consistency within the Lennar teams which takes away from the process. The follow-up is poor, the workmanship is sloppy and everyone blames the last person when there are mistakes. During the walkthrough, I pointed out areas of concern that were not addressed when I moved in. The house was spot cleaned, ie. Dirty windows, paint on the floors and windows, paint on the railings and carpet, debris from the sanding left along the trim of the walls, and on the flooring.While the carp we ts were vacuumed and the house smelled fresh, it was not cleaned properly. Ok experience with Lennar. The Closing process was a breeze, the level of professionalism was immaculate. On the other hand the workmanship on my home was poor. I can still feel the padding underneath the carpet. It was not a easy transition as I thought it would be.

Will (builder superintendent), Amber, Sara and Jodi (sales/loan team) were great throughout our home buying process. They were all professional and courteous, never treating us like it was about a sell but more about how they could be of a help to our family and addressing our questions & needs. We have had a few questions about after settlement and Will (builder superintendent) has come by to address our questions always providing superior customer service! Many many thanks to the Lennar team for their professionalism, promptness and the beautiful home for my and I.

Shoddy workmanship

I FULLY REGRET MY PURCHASE. Overall the look is great, but when you look closely at the workmanship it is very shoddy. Shower stalls with tops not finished or caulked, major skips of caulking in showers, uneven & very noisy floors, steps that are slopped from boards with major cracks (which were attempted to be covered with caulking), boards cut too short and filled in spaces with caulking, first floor is VERY COLD, temperatures as low as 46 degrees, chips in all shower stall floor pans and in tub, cabinets not adjusted correctly and hit into walls & appliances, damaged appliances, ...

The house itself is amazing, some issues here and there but that is expected in a production home and community, Lennar is good about fixing anything we find wrong with the house. Construction managers Will and Adam are excellent in explaining everything and taking care of concerns. Sales is where I had issues, such as miscommunications, incorrect information, carelessness, lack of coordination, just to name a few. I enjoyed working with the sales agents. They were knowledgeable, transparent, and responsive throughout the buying process. Although I had a great experience in the beginning of my home buying process, I’m not happy with how my home was delivered to me. The workmanship was not good: drywall seams/patches were visible, the paint job was mediocre, nails popping out of the walls, bad carpentry (even our movers commented on how poorly the walls and ceilings were). Please do not EVER purchase a home with Lennar, the customer service is awful. They do no reply to request. The home are rushed and have so many errors. The materials are cheap and the quality of the home is poor. Im looking to sale my home ASAP and build elsewhere with another builder.

My experience with overall good, There was an issue at signing causing me to not go to closing on my closing day, which could have been rectified in a timely manner and it was not. The construction of the home was ok, there were issues that were quickly address and the team is friendly and on time.

I never like making a post unless I am asked. I am NOT happy with the quality of my home - unfortunately it was the best deal in town. For >460k I expect more, I hate the following: small garage, small streets, inadequate storage and parking, and horrible cell /Internet Verizon coverage. I've been living in my home for <90 days and I have huge cracks in the walls - can lights popping out. Signed House 4 Sale when the economy gets better.

My entire home buying experience with my LennarHome was a wonderful experience! My loan officer Allison was amazing! She explained the process and was always available for my questions and/ or concerns. The quality of the home and price for the options I chose was comparable to other builders in the community. I love my new home within an active adult community and would recommend others. I can’t wait until the entire community is built with the slated amenities to enjoy for years to come.

My experience with Lennar was less than exciting and fun. However, I am Very pleased with my home. There were delay after delay. There were a few people trying to push and help but at times it seems that I was told things to quiet me. My overall experience was not fun and took the excitement away from the experience of home buying. The seller agent that was on sight? I barely heard from and I had to contact her for questions. Just a mess. But Overall I am happy with my home after waiting to close after a year and six months wait.

This is my first time buying a Lennar home and the expensive has been an interesting one from the purchase until now I have no details that matter in building a home are lacking in some areas by comparison to other homes I have purchased. It’s the quality of value of a quantity and the quality of some of the items in the home aren’t up to par for the price of home that I have for instance there are some windows that I noticed that are drafts in the windows and condensation has appeared in many areas.

My overall experience with the company was beyond subpar. Once I signed the contract documents the entire process went downhill. From having several delays relating to everything from permits, building materials, inspections, etc… to the lack of transparency while providing updates. I always had to escalate the situation to find out simple answers. Once I switched lenders the mediocre service I did receive stopped also. I am still trying to have paint issues address that were denoted prior to closing. This was 19+ months of my life I could have done without.

Materials were decent for this price point, but the quality of workmanship was sloppy in many places - unfortunately common in mass-produced homes in this area. There were quite a few things I had to fix on my own after moving in. The builder, warranty team, and trade partners are very slow to respond to issues. The only issue that was addressed in a timely manner was a gas leak due to the stove not being installed properly. Even then, it was a pain to reach a customer care rep and the plumbing company rep. Lennar Sales Associates, Loan Officers, Title Officers, Customer Care Rep./Associates are ALL Excellent, Responsive and Diligent! The entire process, from initial purchase to final move-in went smoothly. I would have given 5-stars but for one thing the cleanliness of the house on move in day inside and outside was not good.

The one year warranty problem

I just purchased my home. The Home has a few nuisances but overall happy with the workmanship and especially how fast they are putting these houses up. The customer service after the closing is the problem. I cannot reach the service or get a call back from a trouble ticket. I put 3 trouble tickets and I might just have to fix those items myself. Leak in shower doors, empty grass spots and lights dangling from the ceiling.

First and last! I highly DONT recommend Lennar builders. Beautiful home but the process was painful and put us in horrible living situations.
