This is my first house - and the organization of LGI is a mess my closing was a mess. NOONE cleaned the house before closing, there were tons of things not completed of my "punch list" AND inspection. And now after moving into the neighborhood is DISGUSTING. NO IN MANAGEMENT CARES NOR DOES ANYTHING ABOUT ANY COMPLAINTS. Please someone reach out to me I would LOVE to take this to a higher level - I'm tired of living in filth after paying almost $1,000 in HOA fees.

LGI and Loan Depot made it possible for me to become a homeowner and get out of the apartment for just a little more money per month. The location was great and the house is super nice and roomy. The communication between sales and the customer was very poor. The construction team knocked the home out in time but the paperwork was not completed. This took an extra month to get together and pushed closing back several times. Had the paperwork been done sooner, or, they just had communicated that the house would be ready way sooner than closing then the process would have been much smoother. They forgot my closing disclosure, which is the main document, when I showed up to close. I still got the keys and eventually got it settled. The lender asked for several documents randomly instead of just a list here or there. They seemed to keep needing things and providing documentation for things I had provided. I assume they are just doing their job and required for USDA loans. Lots of areas that were unpredictable with lack of informing but in the end I love the new home. I understand everyone is really busy so hoping it improves in the future as the process sucked some of the fun out of the experience. My friends and family thought it was way nicer and bigger in person than the pictures. They crank the homes out and turn dreams into reality so I am very pleased once getting over the hurdles. The grass didn’t get rolled but hoping it will flatten out over time and only 2 small cars or 1 regular truck will fit in the garage. Overall it was a great decision and my dog loves the yard. Once all the kinks are worked out I will be totally satisfied .. There are some deficiencies that have yet to be fixed in my new home

The process is easy; there is some delay/communication issues that could be fixed, however everything transitioned very smoothly from renting to owning. Just had to make sure I stayed on it.

I would have never bought a home with LGI if I knew I would have all the problems that I did as soon as I moved in. I feel like the quality is not worth the money and that the builders (inspectors) did a horrible job catching mistakes. I had a chunk out of my foundation, a water leak that leaked under my new floor that had to be torn out with mold, and a fence with several cracked and uneven boards. There are other little things wrong as well. Very unhappy.

From beginning to closing day the process was simple. We're first time buyers with maybe average credit and I don't think it could've went any smoother. The sales team works to get you approved. I highly recommend especially to first time buyers.

Everything thing was so exciting until I moved in. I bought a two storie house. The bottom floor is spot less its actually perfect. But let me tell you about my second floor. You guys sold me a house that wasn't even ready to be sold every single room in here has uneven floors. They came to "fix" the worst part in my master bedroom. The wood was wet and puffy. Sooner or later that will become moldy because of it being wet before. I have a 4 year old son running around the house. I wouldn't want him to get any type of sickness because of this. It's been well over a month now and nothing has been fix. My carpet is still pull of the ground. LGI hasn't even sent my form to the trash landfill place so I can be able to throw away my trash. Do you guys know what its like to have a month worth of trash in your garage. What it smell like? ... More

There are several things that need to be fixed, if not fixed then replaced. There are several places that need paint touch up and all were noted when we did our walk through and as if today, Jan 5, 2021, the only thing replaced were the 4 fence boards.

I was a first time home buyer and the process was quick and easy. I was very nervous going into it. But John helped me and kept in communication with me through the whole process and even after

I put in a follow up repair request, but I have not received a response. It has been almost two weeks. After the sail the builder is responding to problems.

The entrance of the urbanization is in poor condition the common area is ugly. And we found some problems in the painting of the house.

For the most part i am happy with overall experience. However i do have a couple of complaints. I was promised my back yard would be re-seeded and new hay put down. Purchased mid October. Now been just about two months and has yet to be completed. I even reminded the office about it. Two months in and i feel i was given a false promise. Second issue I have is with the installation of the SOD in front and side yards. Looks terrible. They left large gaps between each piece instead of butting them up against each other. Obvious they were cutting corners. I paid extra for a premium lot, and received terrible workmen-ship for said lot. ... More

This was my first time purchasing a brand new home. The process was great from beginning to end. I love the features in the home and so happy I made the decision to buy with LGI Homes.

If I could have found another house, I would have, and not moved into here. Changed closing date several times, and unconcerned that I had no where to go. Nothing about this experience was positive.

Although the house was fine, the closing process was much more difficult, based upon internal LGI procedures. This was particularly true because we did not use their affiliated lender. I would think twice about ever buying an LGI home, solely because of their closing process.

If you are having your house built, stay on top of it.... visits daily to the site is highly recommended. Let the contractors know who the house belongs to. Workmanship is poor, architectural design, cut corners, along the way.

You can have a home at an affordable price. They can help you.

These guys were very attentive to everything that I needed ran into a few small problems and they took care of them right away the construction manager make sure that everything was okay and that I was a happy customer I really appreciate these guys they were awesome
