When we visited LGI they were huge in talking about their workmanship and how they build quality. Let me tell you that is not the case they have poor workmanship and the quality of work is poor and when you ask for it to get fixed they say that is the way it’s suppose to be. Make sure to take the time to do your walk thru as the home has so many issues before you get there. Then do it again because they don’t fix them. When they do they have a bad attitude like you have issues. I do love my home but we decide next time we will not buy LGI

Salesperson Ana Maria very helpful, but was hindered by ridiculous rules from builder. Builder would not supply list of appliances in home, nor specify what we'd get for our money. Usually builder supplies "list of content" of home and spells out warranties, this was all provided only at final walkthrough. We were told to look at model home images on website, which had multiple options for windows etc, but we could never get a straight answer what our house contained. Totally unsatisfactory. Preclosing walkthrough with Dave M was awesome and thorough, but it was downhill from there. The real construction super was a week late addressing punch list items; then stood us up for a subsequent walkthrough; and told us that all the items were taken care of but they actually weren't. We got the home delivered with grout smeared over both bathroom tile walls, AC filter that was black with filth, holes in window screen, and multiple sloppy painting issues which I just fixed myself because I got tired of waiting for LGI to come through. ... The house has some issues

Pretty solid house and neighborhood. Overall, the housing market is bad right now, so these houses shouldn't cost this much. But very good company and quality builds.

It was an awesome experience working with Bill the loan officer and Ashley the sales representative.

After closing we found many issues and still new ones popping up. Too many to list. The houses are built quickly with cheap materials and zero attention to detail. Spoke to one of the builders and tried speaking with the sales manager but that was an absolute waste of time. Guess I’ll try the warranty process for the things that can be fixed. However, based on my experience with the Avalon North team, we have zero expectations. We will do another review on other platforms at that point. So disappointed in LGI. Not satisfy with the way the land was done on the back of the home.proven to moved electric cables in front of the home.

Disappointed with a few things. Communication, maintenence responses and updates as well as was given the wrong paperwork for my appliances when I moved in.

I’ve been in the house for over a month now. I like the place and location. Everyone is nice. My only issue is I have been missing a kick plate for my dishwasher, and my back door does not lock. Still waiting for those issues to be addressed.

We were so excited to buy a brand new home. We did the walk through with our sales rep. He promised in ground sprinklers, beautiful stainless steel appliances, and that LGI closes on time! Sadly this is not what was delivered. Our closing was pushed out because the subcontractors were behind. This was not communicated to us, instead we were made to feel it was our fault with financing that we couldn’t close on time, until our mortgage was approved and we still couldn’t close. You can tell they rushed and cut corners to close. Our appraisal came back lower than the purchase price, so they substituted our fridge for a cheap base model, and they did not put in the sprinklers as promised. We have been in the home a few weeks and are still needing repairs and finish work to be completed. The warrantee contact has been amazing in his communication and has worked hard to fix what wasn’t completed before we closed. The sales experience was awful, if we would have known they were going to substitute the features in the home we would not have purchased this home. I would like people to know: home buying is a little stressful getting all the documents : getting this and getting that: but , it’s worth it once you get into the home: lots of forms and paperwork has a Time stamp on them.,

From the sales staff, to the lendor, to the construction manager, all facets of homes buying are made easy and exciting. It was a pleasurable experience, stress-free and streamlined.

The quality and build of the home is not what i was expecting. There screws that were never patched up. There has been an ant infestation since day one. Thr door trim mold is very rough and was never sanded down when painted over. So if you touch it you will scratch yourself on it. I give the home a 4/10

A very quick and efficient manner selecting the home. The staff was great to work with. However, the materials to build the home are not the highest. For instance, the paint is the lowest quality I have seen in a home. You brush up against it and it automatically puts a mark on the wall. You can't even clean the walls without paint coming off. There are a lot of dry wall mistakes that you can see through the paint as well. The carpet is a low grade and I can already see areas that are showing signs of coming apart. Lastly, the landscaping was rushed and my yard looks like rolling hills.

From the first meeting to having the keys to my new home in my hand on closing day - everything went as smoothly as possible. Whenever there was a hiccup (this proceed has many moving parts), it was acknowledged and corrected. From choosing the floor plan, through to financing the mortgage, I was very pleased with LGI Builder & Mortgage Company. I love my new home!

Why should you build with LGI Homes? Well, why wouldn't you? We went around to various Builders looking for the perfect fit. We found that with LGI Homes. We walked into the Sales office on a Sunday, with no appointment. They very easily could have told us that they were busy and we would need to make an appointment for a later date/time. They didnt say that. Despite being slammed in the office, Freddy sat with us for an hour and discussed pricing, locations, and explained how the process worked. Unfortunately, the Model that we were most interested in at the time was no longer available. Thinking that was that, we left thinking that would be that. A week later we got a call back from Freddy advising that another Model had become available. And, because it was in our price range, we set up an Appointment to go out and view both the model (to make sure we liked it) and then to where the House would be built (to make sure we liked the location). We loved what we saw and we very much liked the location. From there, we were put with Melissa. We cant even begin to shower Melissa with the praise she deserves. From the moment we were put with her, we received CONSTANT communication. Every Week. From start to finish. We were beyond thrilled to have not only found LGI Homes, but, to have been fortunate enough to have worked with both Freddy and Melissa. Great experience, i love this home. First time buyer on my own. Lgi team made it happen!

Unfortunately the dream of my family was to buy a new house to prevent problems for a long time, but the quality of the material and the quality of the work that the builders did is super bad, parts are shutting many holes in the walls that are appearing out of nowhere, the patio is not even with many holes because they did not level it properly, and there are many more and I am still waiting for an answer to correct them,The door that connects the kitchen to the garage was peeling off the hinge and more

Just purchased home and I have a laundry list of internal issues. I put in work order requests 3 weeks and only the toilet issue is addressed. There are structual wall issues, structural ceiling issues, appliance issues, garbage disposal leak, toilet not secured to the floor, etc. No word or contact from anyone about the issues or an ETA. This is my 3rd brand new build and I have NEVER had all these issues. Not sure what construction company they use but they are slapping these houses together like doll houses.

When we went in I was not even looking to move. I was looking with friends. They ended up buying a house here and I followed. John was great to work with, thru the whole process. Buying a house is a big decision and that comes with a lot of emotions. John was always there to help where he could and listen when he couldn't help. He is very personable and very responsive. I believe that thru the process he has become a friend. I would recommend him and LGI to everyone.

From day 1, Trent at the sales office has been great and walked us though the entire homebuying process from start to finish, answering any questions or concerns I had along the way. Very responsive and made me feel comfortable with choosing LGI. The final walkthrough with the gentleman from construction was very informative and thorough. Overall, I've been quite happy with my experience with LGI so far.

I like the good treat to costumers and the attention that have with us. And Information is very important to give to us. Thanks for everything that you do for us.

I’m a first time home buyer and the whole experience from the start to finish was super easy and painless. From talking out logistics, to financing, to picking out the floor plan and walking through a show property. The staff was so helpful and responsive to all my hundreds of questions. I couldn’t thank Cristy and Amanda enough for getting me in a brand new home.
